Celebrating an anniversary with my partner and the staff and service is absolutely amazing. From concierge to food, very good - nothing is ever too much and you will always be fed! Shout out to Chef Imad and Chef Mohamed for the delicious omelettes! Chef Sami and Naima looked after us very well at breakfast, their hospitality was very nice. Clean rooms and very pleasant people. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I recently spent a week in Marrakech and stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel — and overall, it was an amazing experience. The check-in process was a little lengthy, but once that was sorted, everything else about my stay was exceptional. From the delicious breakfast spread to the relaxing pool area, every detail was spot on. Room service could be a bit slow at times, which was slightly frustrating when ordering items, but it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of the stay. The hotel’s on-site spa is beautifully designed and feels very luxurious, although the hammam services could be improved. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to M Avenue and close to plenty of great restaurants and cafés. Whether you’re traveling as a family, a couple, or solo, the Mövenpick Marrakech is a wonderful choice for a comfortable and memorable stay.

Upon arrival at the hotel it looks very opulent and luxurious. Men in suits line the driveway. The lobby areas were lovely to look at. The pool area was very nice. First, the good. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and our farewell dinner one of the best meals we had in Morocco. The cat visits you at breakfast 😸 The room I was in needed a refresh. The lighting was terrible and it was hard to see. The carpet was dirty. They did provide slippers and a robe. The bedding was very full and heavy and I asked for a thinner cover due to the room temperature. In fact, I couldn’t get my room to a cool enough temp! My room was at the end of a hall and had a small balcony but I couldn’t get the windows opened. The shower was strong! That was a plus. I did notice that other 4-5 star hotels were similar in Morocco. If the rooms were refreshed, my rating would be higher for sure.

This hotel was terrible. When we checked in, the staff took us to a room and that room was occupied by some other guest. When he opened the door, we saw all the belonging from the other guest. Luckily there was nobody in the room otherwise it could be extremely embarrassing. The same happened to our friend as well, he was in his room and somebody opened his door and realised somebody in the room and went away immediately. I believe this happen very often because when the staff open our first room (the wrong one), he said let me check the room first before letting us in, learnt from mistakes. The concierge is another big problem. When you try to get out, the conciege refused to help us get a taxi. They will ask you to grab one in front of the hotel. These taxi drivers are waiting in front of the hotel to rip off the tourists. I was trying to go to the old town that normally cost 50DH and the taxi drivers were asking 100DH. I was too tired on the first day and given up to argue and used those taxi. However, the second day, I tried to use the inDrive App and called for a proper legal Yellow Taxi to pick me up to the same place for only 50DH. The taxi driver text me and telling me to wait for him around the corner of the hotel because those taxi driver in front of the hotel will not allow him to pick me up and he doesn't want to get into trouble. I felt there must have some sort of hidden arrangement between these guys with the hotel. This made the stay becoming very unpleasant and everytime you want to go out will be a pain. The hotel also wasn't particular clean and tidy. The balcony door lock was not working (checked with my friend the same). Security is an issue as well. IF YOU CLAIM this is a 5 STARS hotel, then it is a SCAM.
