We recently stayed at the Mitsis Summer Palace in Kardamena to celebrate my sister’s 60th birthday, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views, excellent facilities, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout. What made our holiday especially memorable was the kindness and care shown by Lamin. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after, always greeting us with a smile and such thoughtful attention. His professionalism, genuine warmth, and outstanding service made a real difference and left a lasting impression on us. A heartfelt thank you to Lamin for making our stay so special. We are deeply grateful for everything he did to make our celebration perfect. I highly recommend the Mitsis Summer Palace to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable holiday.

we’ve just got back from a lovely 5 night stay at the Summer Palace and we cannot fault the place. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left the staff were amazing. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Vladimir, Federica and Meggie in particular helped turn a good holiday into a great one! Their attention detail and willingness to go the extra mile meant we have no complaints about the staff, food, rooms or resort as a whole. The rooms were a decent size and very clean and we had amazing views of the sea. All of the restaurants and bars had friendly staff and great food We would definitely recommend summer palace and are looking to book a return visit.

Alexis was an absolute delight to be served by. He made us all feel very comfortable and welcomed, best service we’ve received on this holiday so far! Food was lovely as ever! We will definitely come back to dine at the Med.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there are things worth mentioning. Staying at this hotel is only worth it if you decide to spend that amount of money to stay in the renovated part of the building ( the older rooms and the reception lobby certainly don’t set the feel for the 5 star experience). The newer rooms are great and very aesthetically pleasing, however, not at all soundproof. The staff here is very polite, especially at the a la carte restaurants. We found it difficult to sometimes communicate with reception ladies. Also, we ordered a taxi from the hotel to Kardamena for quite a price and we were not informed it is a “shared taxi” almost like a mini bus that will stop at other hotels and pick up passengers that all paid the same price. The pools were all great and beatiful but lots of kids being quite loud and the main infinity pools are almost always all taken up. The buffet food was tasty but not big enough with enough options for a 5 star hotel in my opinion. What was nice is drinks and food are available all day long due to the amount of bars and snack bars around the resort. Overall, an okay stay but for the money they are asking, there are things that can be improved.
