The view was lovely from our room, some of the pools were really nice and we met a couple of lovely staff members but sadly that was about it for praise. When we arrived at the hotel after a tiring journey, we were made to stand in a long queue for 30 minutes whilst they checked others in. Normally in a 5 star resort we’re asked to take a seat, given a welcome drink and a form to complete and then shown our room. So this was not a great first impression and sadly things didn’t improve. On check out, no one asked us if we’d had a good stay.
We always choose an all inclusive in Greece for our annual holiday and we were shocked at the dismissive and on occasion overtly rude members of staff - particularly the guy serving chips from the van on the beach. The quality of food was not good - being vegan was not easy here which was a shame as they’d assured me in advance that all would be fine, and I was in Crete three weeks earlier with friends and the local cuisine in the tavernas we ate at was exceptional and brilliant for vegans. But the buffet here was tasteless and felt like it was made with the knowledge that a lot of it would end up in the bin. Rea the nutritionist was wonderful and did everything she could to get things in for our vegan diet.
Other things we weren’t impressed with:
The decor was very dated.
The cocktails were poor quality.
The coffee was awful.
The main pool had really loud music being blared out - think YMCA and I Will Survive.
I did however really enjoy swimming in the sea, despite other negative reviews. Yes it is very rocky so hard to get in, but a little way down the beach there was a small spot where you could swim safely and it felt very peaceful.

The hotel is amazingly designed, looks really new, the public areas are clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and modern. In addition to the dining room, there are several restaurants where you can reserve a place in advance: Italian, Asian and Greek styles - which upgrades the culinary experience. We really liked the beach area- lots of lounge chairs and a bar. The staff is super nice and helpful - especially Alex, the reception manager - who made us feel welcome and quickly answered all our questions/requests with kindness and patience. The only thing that could be improved is adding more deck chairs by the pools. We highly recommend this amazing hotel

Very positively surprised with this hotel. Food was great, even at the buffet (and even better at the restaurants!), facilities were very clean and beautiful. The kids club was absolutely amazing - best staff I’ve ever seen, super warm and creative with the kids and our 5 year old asked to go there every single day. We will surely consider to come back!

One of the top resorts in Crete.
It is my second time visiting the hotel and they always surprise with the top service.
All the staff members were very nice and gave us an amazing experience.
The restaurants at the resort are top level and the food is amazing.
There are a lot of cocktails and delicious crepes that delivered an even more outstanding vacation.
My favorite part of the resort is the sushi and champagne bar, sitting there during the sunset is outstanding .
I recommend the hotel for everyone (with or without children)

Ok, so on arrival I did not believe this to be 5 star. Room was not what I expected, tired etc. also very busy. I suspect being sold a lot cheaper in other countries.
having spoken with customer relations about our disappointment they could not do enough to help. Upgrading our room, sending in a fruit platter and champagne, and really going out of their way to accommodate.
It would be nice of ONE of the pools was inflatable/ball free. There are 5 pools and it’s difficult to enjoy even one without being constantly hit with a ball or inflatable.
Restaurants that need a reservation are the best by far. Food is really good in these.
There are a lot of sun beds and you’re not meant to reserve however lots of people do.
We had a good stay. Probably wouldn’t choose it again. Looking forward to the kids turning 16🤣
