We have just got home from a lovely week away for our first family holiday as a family of 5. I absolutely loved it. First impression of the hotel lobby was very good, it’s very clean and lovely appearance. Staff in all areas, reception, dinner hall, cleaners, waiters are all super friendly, hardworking individuals. Hotel room we stayed in (506) was a nice clean room, from photos I thought would have been a longer room, this wasn’t an issue though. I was a little unsure of our room position at first, we were right at the front of the hotel, main road was behind our room - no road noise was heard and actually felt safer than I thought although the doors could do with an extra lock on them just for that extra peace of mind. Children’s pool was fine, two slides which the kids loved. Only went in the main pool once, but didn’t enjoy as it was salt water. Sun beds aren’t the best, definitely need a better style. The hotel grounds were very clean and tidy and looked lovely. I personally didn’t rate the beach, not a fan of the stones I much prefer soft sand but maybe I should have researched this before hand. But the sea!! Crystal clear and absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely recommend this hotel and so glad it was able to provide amazing memories for me and my family.

The Mitsis Rodos Maris Resort & Spa in Kiotari, Rhodes.
We are coming to the end of two weeks here. Firstly this is not a luxury 5* hotel it’s more in line with a 3*. Having walked over to the Mitsis Village the neighbouring Mitsis hotel it is clear that the Maris is a very dated Mitsis concept which needs modernisation. That said we have had a nice time and the mix of the beach and pools breaks the day up nicely!
The food offering and food is great. The staff work hard but it feels like they lack management direction so constantly look like they are chasing their tails.
For the kids, there is a water slide and a smaller one for smaller kids. The playground consists of a couple of swings and an infant play tower. (Compared to the Mitsis Village where there is an extensive playground and splash pad and a decent-looking kids club)
We did not use the kids' club which is located on the beach in a shed - which did not look appealing.
There is a water sports team on the beach and at a cost you can rent a SUP, pedalo, boat and water skiing etc.
There is evening entertainment some of which is good some of it is not.
Overall although it was an enjoyable stay however this hotel is in desperate need of upgrading.
(It’s worth walking over the footbridge to the Mitsis Village as the complex is much nicer and the entertainment better. There is also a kid's splash park at the top of the site. Just a much cleaner nicer site on the basis of the short time we were there. Also, the pools are not salt water so no eye complaints!)

We have spent 11 days on our vacation in the hotel and the services as well as the accommodation was nice we were surprised by the willingness of the personal to help. Also the food was quite nice and we enjoyed the brunch. It is also necessary to say that the organized activities were outstanding. We were really enjoying the beach volleyball which was well organized and joyful thanks to the very friendly trainer. Thanks for a really nice holiday.

Such a beautiful place! I had the time of my life there, the beach was amazing I enjoyed it a lot. The food was very tasty and fresh, not mentioning the staff which was very friendly and positive. There was a lot of entertaining stuff to do, playing tennis by the beach was my favorite one. 😍
I would totally recommend going there and enjoy your holidays by all meanings!
See you again next year Mitsis! 🥰

we are blind, this year we rested in this hotel for the second time, the holiday impressions are contradictory. When we arrived, we had booked a bungalow overlooking the garden, but we were told that our house was not ready, because only the next day after our arrival from there people will come out. and that we spend the night in another room in the main building. the next day we spent half a day asking to be moved to our house. we were moved, but in front of our terrace there was a wooden fence and some kind of view of the building, but not of the garden. Perhaps they decided that since we are blind, we don’t care where to live, but since last year we lived in a house where there was a pretty decent green lawn, a sediment remained. regarding everything else, they always helped us halfway, helped us with food in the restaurant, brought us drinks in bars, reserved sun loungers for us on the beach, and took us where we needed to go. Due to the large territory, we were even transported in an electric car. The cleaning was also good in principle, everything worked, the refrigerator in the room was replenished regularly. As for the service regarding the laundry, we spent the whole day asking for our laundry to be taken to the laundry because we needed it to be brought back in 2 days. In general, everyone was friendly and friendly. but in my opinion, there is still work to be done in order for the hotel to be called truly five-star. And they didn’t even put a jar of jam in our house, probably because in the previous room we already had one jar. Last year there were even toothbrushes in the rooms, but this year they disappeared somewhere. The atmosphere in the hotel itself is very good for relaxation.
