I stayed at Alexander the Great Beach Hotel for a week with my mom, and I honestly didn’t expect it to be this amazing. From the moment we arrived, everything—from the location and the food to the service and atmosphere—was above and beyond anything I imagined. Let’s start with the location. The hotel is right on the coast and the beach… wow. I’ve travelled quite a bit, but this beach was easily the most beautiful I’ve ever seen in my life. You do have to walk down a set of stairs to reach it, but that made it feel even more special—almost like a hidden, private escape just for us. We ended up spending most of our vacation there, just soaking up the sun, swimming, and enjoying the view. It was quiet, clean, and truly magical. The food was another highlight. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the main restaurant has this stunning view of the sea that just adds to the whole experience. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every meal felt like it was thoughtfully prepared. We looked forward to it each day. But the part that really made this stay unforgettable was the staff. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, but I especially want to thank Yulia at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and sweet. She made sure we felt right at home and helped us with anything we needed. And most of all, I want to thank Angie Antonakoudi from Guest Relations. My mom’s birthday happened to be during our stay, and I had secretly been trying to plan something special for her. Angie and the management team went way beyond what I expected—they helped me organize a private dinner on the beach, and it turned out to be absolutely incredible. The food, the setup, the ambiance—it was like something from a movie. My mom was so happy, and I’ll never forget the joy on her face that evening. Angie also helped us with excursions and was always around to check in and make sure everything was going well. She truly made us feel cared for, and I can’t thank her enough. This trip meant a lot to me personally—it was quality time with my mom, celebrating her birthday, and just reconnecting. Alexander the Great Beach Hotel gave us the perfect backdrop for that! If you're thinking of booking this hotel—do it.We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you again to everyone at the hotel for making our week so special. You made us feel not just like guests, but like friends!

Mitsis Alexander the Great never disappoints — this is my third stay and it just keeps getting better. The hotel offers incredible hospitality, pristine beach and surroundings, and a truly welcoming environment for the whole family. The food is delicious, the all-inclusive is generous and honest (not one of those so-called all-inclusives), and the overall experience is pure relaxation. It’s a place I’d return to again and again!

Hotel with great perspective, but.... Elevator to the beach must work, not even a question (we do not care about your explanations). Just imagine how it is to the old people to come down to the beach (165 or 110 stairs, down and up). Even if by some mircale they come to the beach, there are not enough sunbeds & umbrellas. This is also mandatory for Mitis group to resolve if they want to compete with other hotels in Mitis group. People came to vacation, not to compete with others who get up early enough to "make reservation" on sunbed with their towells. Sunbeds & umbrellas are so old, that my ancestors remember them. Beach bar needs to be renovated. Food needs to have more variety options even if it means more cost to the final customer. I am pretty sure that people who were here in 2025, will not come back to this hotel. They are even short stuff which is obvious, or they are not well organized. Hotel stuff are the best recomendation of the hotel. Alway welcome you, with smile, happy to help, keep wathering those guys. Overall experience 3 - 3.5. Maybe will come back in 5 - 10 years to see if Mitis group matched expectations. O yeah wi fi... You can connect it every 4 years. Invest in better wi fi infrastructure.

My stay at “Alexander the Great Beach Hotel”was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel instantly at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect — friendly, professional, and always with a smile especially Zouriko “groom” he was very nice and helped us a lot

The hotel has a beautiful courtyard, delicious food, and a clean beach, these deserve positive recognition. However, our overall experience was affected by several serious shortcomings. Our room was only made available around 7 PM, several hours after our arrival. The elevator to the beach was out of service throughout our stay, and the beach bar consistently opened with at least a 40-minute delay. There was a persistent lack of beverage options, and on multiple evenings, service at the main bar was halted by 9 PM due to a supposed shortage of glasses, despite being advertised to operate until 1 AM. The attitude of the staff at the main bar was often unprofessional, in particular, one bartender displayed rude and inappropriate behavior toward many guests. During our à la carte dinner, service was poor: there were no side plates, the waiter was impolite, and at one point, an assistant waiter openly offended us.
