We had a really nice stay. The hotel is on a hillside with amazing sea views. I highly recommend upgrading your room – the standard one was very small and not comfortable. The sea view room made a big difference. The beach is beautiful, totally worth the walk down. Some complain about the steps, but for us they weren’t a problem at all. Actually, it felt like a nice little workout after eating half of the restaurant. The hotel feels best for adults – there aren’t any activities or play areas for kids, so families with children might find it a bit boring. The staff were great – super friendly and always happy to help. Whether it was the reception team, the waiters, or the pool bar staff, everyone made us feel really welcome. The food was really good. Even as a picky eater, I was happy. During the day, there were also snacks available at the pool bars – like sandwiches and hot dogs – which was really convenient. The rooftop pool bar is amazing – very modern and stylish. It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy a drink, and take in the stunning views. There are extra charges like paid Wi-Fi and the tourist tax, and you’ll likely want to upgrade your room – so keep that in mind. But overall, it’s a peaceful, scenic place, perfect for a quiet beach holiday.

Amazing stay! We had a fantastic family holiday at Mistral Mare Hotel. The view over Voulisma Beach is breathtaking, the rooms are renovated and clean, and the food (all-inclusive) was excellent every day. One of the highlights was the "secret" passageway under the road that leads directly to the beach via a small staircase — a lovely touch that made access to Voulisma Beach quick and easy for the whole family. We found the hotel to be excellent value for money, especially considering the quality of the amenities and the fantastic location. It’s a shame that many happy guests don’t take the time to leave a review, while only the few with complaints seem to speak up. So here we are — highly recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Crete. We’d gladly return!

Had a fantastic stay at Mistral Mare in May for 9 nights. The food was delicious, room kept spotless, and the bar staff Giorgios and the fair haired lady at the roof pool bar were wonderful. Highly recommend a stay. The location is fantastic also, Voulisma beach is a leisurely 8-10 minute walk away, we found it easier to walk down the road a little to avoid the steep steps down, using the voulisma beach bar as the entrance. Incredible view and nice chill vibes at the hotel. Pool was quiet and there was always a sun lounger available. Would return!

Was hoping for more from this hotel Very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. However, I personally wouldn't recommend staying at the Mistral Mare. All inclusive generally means all included. Safe - costs you €18 for 6 days Wifi - costs €3 per DEVICE per day ( so 4 devices means another €72 for 6 days) Tea and coffee in the room - on arrival you get a few sachets then if you want more - yep you have to buy more in the hotel shop. No drinking water provided daily for the room. Quality of beer,wine and soft drinks included is not great at all - first time I've ever seen wine (cloudy) on tap! Food is always cold, same dishes, same choice. Did not have a single hot meal in the 3.5 days here - opted to go to local restuarants for decent hot meals and the supermarket for food and drinks for the room instead. This hotel may suit a lot of people but unfortunately not me personally. I would like to thank the staff as like I say very friendly. Rooms, hotel clean but the management need to rethink charges for WiFi, room safe and a few drinks for the rooms daily. They also need to look at the restuarant and work out how to serve up hot food. Even dishes coming straight out from the kitchen were only slightly warm!

What an amazing stay we had here! Would be 5 stars except you have to pay €35 room tax when you get there so be prepared. The food was unreal, so delicious and tasty, even for me as a vegetarian. Every single day the food was amazing- best hotel food I’ve ever eaten. The staff are lovely, and they even taught us how to Greek dance which was so fun. Alcohol was great too. The views are so perfect, and the pools are lovely. The rooms are lush with such comfy beds and get cleaned every day. The beach is only a short walk away but so worth it. Overall perfect stay and a lovely hotel!!!
