The metropolitan is a two storey hotel next to the Dubai highway. It is an older hotel for the city but is well maintained, clean and peaceful. It has an on-site pub called the Red Lion which has a reasonable range of beers, wines and spirits. Depending on your room, it can be a bit of a trek from the lifts. The room control panel and AC is intuitive but make sure the master switch is on before you close your door. AC can be a bit chilly but can be turned off easily. Breakfast was acceptable given the wide range of guests expected but I missed Western breakfast. Check-in a little involved but checkout simple. All in all, an enjoyable stay.

If you're looking for a comfortable and super well-located spot in Dubai, seriously consider the Metropolitan. From the moment I arrived, the service was genuinely warm and professional—the staff here truly go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. My room was spotless, modern, and honestly, the bed was so comfortable it was hard to leave for the breakfast in the mornings! The location on Sheikh Zayed Road is fantastic; being so close to the Equiti metro station made getting around Dubai an absolute breeze. Plus, having the complimentary shuttle to the beach and Mall of the Emirates is a huge bonus. I really enjoyed the rooftop pool, which has a cool view, and the overall ambiance of the hotel is both classy and relaxed. Highly, highly recommend!

Review for Metropolitan Hotel LLC, Dubai: I recently stayed at Metropolitan Hotel in Dubai and, unfortunately, my experience was disrupted by an issue with bed bugs. Thankfully, I didn’t see more than one, but it was enough to scare me. I ended up cleaning my entire suitcase thoroughly to make sure I didn’t bring anything home, which turned what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday into a day of chores. It’s disappointing, as this overshadowed my stay. If you want, I can also make a shorter, punchier version suitable for Google or TripAdvisor reviews. Do you want me to do that?
