We stayed for 5 nights and could not fault the resort! All inclusive was definitely worth it and we enjoyed all of our meals, drinks and all the facilities. Bottled water was always provided and we felt so safe eating and drinking here. All the staff were so lovely and accommodating. We would definitely recommend

We stayed at Merusaka for 6 days and absolutely loved every moment! We had a pool access room and upgraded to the all-inclusive package (orange wristband) — honestly the best value ever. Endless food and drinks, multiple stunning pools, and service that was consistently prompt, friendly and genuinely caring. A huge shout-out to Dana at the pool bar — he truly made our stay unforgettable. He looked after us so beautifully and added such a personal touch every day. The whole pool bar team was brilliant! Our room was incredibly spacious with a gorgeous bathroom and the most divine soaking tub. The entire resort and its facilities were spotless, welcoming, and so well maintained. We also loved the cute daytime / evening market onsite — such a charming touch. We genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing. Merusaka exceeded all expectations, and we will definitely be back!

Decent Location and Facilities, But Falls Short on Service and Food Quality I recently stayed during the week of Xmas 2025 at Merusaka Nusa Dua and wanted to share my experience. The **location** is truly excellent—right on the beach with stunning sunrises each morning, and the gated Nusa Dua area feels safe, peaceful, and well-maintained. The grounds are beautiful and very photogenic, with nice landscaping throughout. The pools are a highlight: well-organized, scenic, and layered for different vibes—though many sunbeds/chairs get "claimed" very early in the day with towels or bags, even when they're empty for hours. There are adequate beach chairs available, and the charming two-person swing overlooking the ocean—is nice for relaxing. The hotel is family-friendly, with great activities and options for kids. The rooms are a decent size and functional, though they feel dated in decor and fittings. On the food side, the breakfast buffet is large with plenty of options to choose from—just be prepared to go early and bring some patience, as it gets crowded quickly. Unfortunately, the overall food quality was low and inconsistent. Made-to-order items were often lackluster, incorrect, and nowhere near what I’d expect from a 5-star property. Service throughout the stay was often slow and inconsistent, which detracted from the experience. At the beach bar, popular food items (pizza, prawns, beef & chicken satay, etc) are often unavailable, even early in the evening. While the resort has strong points in its beachfront setting, pools, and family appeal, the gaps in food quality, updated rooms, and service made it feel like it didn't fully live up to its rating or price point, I am not sure how this qualifies as a 5-Star resort. When I return to Nusa Dua in the future, I will look elsewhere for better overall service and value.

A truly wonderful experience. We’ve just had 5 very special days at this wonderful resort and it’s been magic. An older style resort, which I love…in beautiful, clean Nusa Dua. Rooms are lovely and cleaned daily with incredible care, lovely grounds and pools. Food exceptional and cocktails great. The thing I loved most was the team of people working there. Each and every one of them were friendly, helpful and always smiling. An absolute joy. I could not fault this establishment and I thank them for an incredible stay. We will return.

Lovely place but definitely not a 5 star . Lots of paint missing and cracks in cement and such . The staff were very helpful and polite . The smell in the lift was so overpowering of perfume due to the device in the corner . We went to the restaurant below the reception and our steak was undercooked and potatoes cold . ( two different types ) we spoke up and steak came back cooked properly and the sides were still another 5 mins away . The manager said sorry and that was it .our supposed lovely steak dinner was very disappointing . We went to the restaurant for lunch at the beach and a slight misunderstanding happened . The manger there Bhagus fixed it immediately and even comped us some ice cream . I believe he handled the smaller situation so much better than the fancier restaurant manager. The beach itself was ok . The loud music from the pool when we were having dinner at the other restaurant was something we or others didn’t appreciate. Breakfast buffet had so many options but a lot of the food was unfortunately cold . We were asked if we wanted coffees when we entered each day and only twice were they delivered even when we asked what was happening. I would not !!! recommend this place as a 5 star .
