We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort! We experienced both the overwater villa and the beach villa — each was beautiful, private, and offered stunning views. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Snorkeling right off the villa was unforgettable — crystal-clear water, vibrant coral reefs, and a wide variety of marine life. The food was out of this world — every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. This place exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxury escape in paradise!

What a beautiful trip it has been, our Maldivian paradise! We visited Mercure Koodoo and were mesmerized from the very first time we set our foot in the property, we forgot all about our hectic travel & all the tiredness was gone in a second! The sunsets, the crystal clear water, clean & serene beach everything was top notch! The staff, Kyle, Raushan , Madina & Kesnia were fantastic & their hospitality was absolutely commendable! From the warm welcome at the airport to a heart full of memories- goodbye, the service was impeccable! We were so impressed with the level of comfort and attention to detail the staff had. Great attitude. Helpful and always available, taking us around in a buggy, having conversations about the place & our stay in general! We solit our days between sunset beach villa with pool and sunset overwater villa with pool, the rooms were clean, spacious & the views?! Absolutely serene & mesmerising! On arrival, we got to know that the resort had given us a complimentary photoshoot, we were so thrilled to get clicked & take back a memory from our trip, Amir clicked such beautiful pictures of us that instead of taking 1 picture from him, we ended up taking 10!! An absolute special mention to Chef Selva, who ensured that we ate to our hearts content, he made special vegetarian dishes for us every single day, for every single meal! still dreaming about the pumpkin curry that he made. While he made the most delicious meals for us, the sweet smiles & kindness with which Ali and Mamun served us was truly remarkable! They made sure that we had absolutely wholesome meals everyday! One day we just asked if they had masala tea & they didn’t, the next day Ali & chef Selva ensured that we get masala tea every single day for breakfast! The highlight of our trip! Afoo! So glad to have come across such a kind hearted person! He made our water activities & first ever snorkelling experience so so so memorable! From our Kayaking, to paddle board & from fun tube ride to snorkelling, everything was beyond our expectations! He clicked our pictures, showed us the techniques to kayak & paddle, showed us the best places to see turtles, sting rays & sharks! He took us for our fun tube ride & my oh my was it FUN, what a ride & what an experience, we were laughing, screaming & enjoying every single minute of that ride! As for snorkelling, We were somewhere between living and dreaming, the house reef is so so so pristine and beautiful making us feel tiny, humble, inspired, and salty…all at once! Thank you team Mercure Koodoo for giving us memories for a lifetime! 🤍

Our honeymoon at the Mercure Resort on Kooddoo Island in the Maldives was the absolute pinnacle of romance and relaxation! We wanted a truly special and unforgettable experience, and this island paradise delivered beyond our wildest dreams. The staff were so attentive and helpful throughout our stay and we felt very looked after. Our villa by the beach was a dream come true – the panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and the luxurious amenities created an atmosphere of pure bliss. It was the perfect sanctuary for our honeymoon. The dining experiences were exceptional. We particularly loved learning how to Cook Maldivian and Sri Lankan curries with Selvakumar. The variety and quality of the cuisine were outstanding, and we appreciated the resort’s attention to detail. We spent our days snorkelling in the vibrant coral reefs and relaxing on the pristine beaches. The marine life was breathtaking, and the crystal-clear water was perfect for exploring. The sunsets were simply magical, creating a romantic ambiance that we will never forget.

Everything at this wonderful resort was top notch! Everything starts with a dedicated and courteous staff, and they were all so nice and attentive - Selva, the Chef at the buffet, Aman, our housekeeper, Nicholas, the dive master, Christina at the dive shop. A few names I unfortunately can't recall, but the bartender, the DJ, the front desk staff - they are all wonderful! The food was EXCELLENT, which was an unexpected surprise, as this is an all-inclusive resort. The variety, quality, taste and presentation of all the food was outstanding. Our accommodation (water villa with pool) was superb and well maintained - very clean with comfortable bed and linens, and a large bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower. The sunset views from our pool were stunningly beautiful. My wife went diving twice and the dive team is very profesionnal and make you feel safe. We also went on the Sand Bank excursion, which I recommend - snorkeling was like being in a huge aquarium with a variety beautifully colored fish - we even saw a leopard shark! The main pool is expansive and lovely. This adults only resort is one of the best all-inclusive ones we've been to. We will most likely visit again, and we highly recommend it!
