We absolutely loved Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort. Beautiful place and when the sun is out in full force, it's the most stunning place on the planet. This is an adults only resort so it's very very peaceful and quiet at all times. The pool overlooks the lagoon, the beach villas lead straight to the soft sandy beach and the water villas hover above the crystal clear waters. Snorkelling here was also fantastic. The drop off and reef is one of the healthiest I've ever seen. We even swam with nurse and black tip sharks. Breakfast, lunch and dinner - chef's kiss. My wife and I played tennis twice a day for 5 days. It was wonderful with the flying foxes soaring above during our sparring sessionss. Many thanks to Raushan who took care of us. Every request was met and fulfilled by Raushan. From tennis court bookings, flight depatures and miscellanous items, Raushan was there for us. Service is definitely a highlight at Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort.

Kooddoo island was the perfect choice for our All Inclusive stay. With its tranquil, calm setting, the powder white sand & beautiful clear turquoise sea is breathtaking. The pictures do not do this beautiful place justice. We were shown round the island on arrival on a buggy, by Khan, who was a great host. Most of the time we just relaxed & sunbathed as that’s what we needed from our holiday, so Kooddoo was perfect for this. Included in our stay was a sunset cruise, where we saw dolphins swimming up close & personal to the boat. The sunset did not let us down & was just perfect. We had a romantic ‘floating’ breakfast 1 morning in our private pool. This was an extra cost, but was definitely worth it for the experience. The weather was fabulous & a constant 29*. The house reef was amazing & we saw lots of marine life. We snorkelled everyday & saw beautiful fish, stingrays & even a few sharks! The water villa we stayed in had its own private infinity pool, with superb views of the sea & stunning sunsets every night. Beautiful bathroom with huge free standing bath, an inside & outside shower. Which we used all the time. As it had amazing views of the sea & our sundeck & pool. The villa was kept extremely clean by our room attendant, Gilliano. Who looked after all our accommodation needs. Towels & bedding changed regularly. Minibar & snacks topped up every day. Which was all included in our stay. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of choice, & had a different theme every night. All the staff were super friendly, attentive & seemed genuinely happy to see us. Many remembering us personally as the days went on. To sum up, our 10 days on Kooddoo was the best holiday we’ve ever had. We would definitely recommend this island, & hope to return again some day.

Our lovely stay at Mercure Kooddoo Resort was truly unforgettable, and we are happy to return home with so many wonderful memories and experiences. The location, the beach with its turquoise waters, the pool bar, the bungalows... everything was simply amazing! ✨ The resort offers incredible opportunities to dive and snorkel near the reef, where you can see a wide variety of marine life, including sharks and turtles. You can also enjoy paddleboarding, canoeing, sunset cruises, and even yoga and meditation sessions with Jazz 🔝🔝. There's also a gym, a wonderful spa and many other activities available. The resort is managed in a very warm and personal way. ALL the employees, known as Heartists, are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful—from reception to maintenance, gardening, and housekeeping. ❤ The food is delicious and varied, and the staff in both the restaurant and the kitchen are always smiling and ready to assist. Special thanks to Deepak, Selvakumar, Desta, and all the amazing chefs, as well as Poopy, Manvi, Sameera, Allina, and many others whose names we can’t recall but who gave us outstanding service in the restaurant. 💫 Last but not least, the entire resort is spotless and very well managed. The bungalows are beautiful, clean, and extremely comfortable. A heartfelt thank you for making our stay a dream come true! ❤

We had a wonderful time. What made the resort so special was the staff. From the DJ, waitstaff, chefs, bartenders, housekeeping, activities everyone treated us as if we were VIPS. Amazingly beautiful resort!

This was my second visit to Mercure Kooddoo Resort, following my trip last year. It’s such a beautiful place that it's well worth the additional domestic flight to get there. With its adults-only policy and limited number of villas, the resort offers the perfect environment for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The sea near the villas is crystal clear with no seaweed, offering amazing visibility. I even had the chance to spot sharks and turtles swimming by from time to time. Every staff member I encountered was warm and friendly, making me feel truly welcome. What impressed me the most was that the staff remembered me from my previous visit—it was a touching and memorable gesture. I’d also like to give special thanks to my dedicated host, Mr. Ali, who always responded quickly and kindly via WhatsApp throughout my stay. Both of my trips to the Maldives have been filled with wonderful memories thanks to Mercure Kooddoo Resort, and I truly hope I’ll have the opportunity to return for a third visit in the future.
