PVE
The hotel is located just outside of Benidorm, surrounded by a golf course. Its location is suitable if you prefer a quiet holiday. The amenities are adequate, although most pf the restaurants within the premises were closed, even during peak season. The rooms are comfortable but outdated in terms of furniture and amenities. The rooms would also benefit from better maintenance as some of the walls have cracks or require paint. This is somewhat disappointing, considering the number of stars that the hotel has. Cleanliness is also not one of the strong points of this hotel and I would suggest some improvements in this regard. The staff is friendly although I would expect a higher degree of customer service in some areas, considering once again the number of stars awarded to the hotel. Although it has been an overall good experience, the hotel would benefit from updated rooms and improved cleaning services.

Pros : lovely big room, comfortable bed, amazing views and nice dressing gown and slippers. Great location and lovely golf courses nearby-very well looked after. Cons: poor quality pillows and very weak water pressure in the sink and shower. Both the hotel and golf course were lacking clear signage and it was confusing where to go. Very poor customer service, nothing was explained well, no extra services offered (eg take our bags and golf gear to the room) 2 out of 4 restaurants closed without informing clients. A shame, not what we expected for a 5 star hotel.

Rustan Melville
We stayed in one of the family-size rooms during the off-season and found it comfortable and perfectly located right next to the kids’ activity hall and playground. The grounds were well-maintained, clean, and beautiful. I can’t say enough about this. A truly picturesque place, with plenty of areas to wander through and enjoy. Easily the biggest highlight of our stay was the staff. With the exception of the Mosaico manager, everyone was so friendly and helpful! I don’t know why the restaurant manager was so tense - maybe they’re new. 🤷‍♂️ My one serious complaint is the lack of a nespresso pod machine (or any kind of coffee machine) in every room. This has become a standard in hotels across Europe and I’m surprised that it hasn’t found adoption at Meliá.

Amazing hotel and well worth paying the extra for the level upgrade. We had a premium room on the 7th floor which had stunning views over the coast. Staff were very friendly throughout and made you feel welcome. The lounge for level members was open most of the day with nibbles and a range of drinks. We loved the Aperitif hour with great cocktails and small dishes. The breakfast has everything you could ever need or want. We didn’t eat at the restaurants but the food did look lovely at the Italian.

We stayed here in March. Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Top golf course. Great to be just outside of the centre (11Euro taxi). We’ll be returning next March.
