We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 night at the hotel and looking forward to going back. As Melia Gold member, we were upgraded to a beautiful room overlooking the Reserve pool even though we didn’t have a Reserve room. The hotel is clean and the gardens inside are gorgeous although would be good to get a renovation at some point. Lots of restaurants and bars, never got bored for a moment. Entertainment was excellent and Ramon, the entertainment manager, was a delight to be around. All the staff is friendly and accommodating. I don’t eat meat and I didn’t struggle with the food options at all. Overall lovely experience

Thoroughly enjoyed 7 nights here, in a reserve junior suite. Couldn't recommend highly enough! Room was well presented, very spacious and had a brilliant view of the ocean.
The food and cocktails in the various bars and restaurants were delicious! Two points of improvement would be labelling of food is sparse so people with strict dietary requirements may be tentative and the non-buffet restaurants were harder to book than Glastonbury tickets, we discovered logging in at midnight when the new slots were released was the only opportunity, albeit the buffet was exceptional (and doesn't need booking) which softened the blow.
Brilliant location, very walkable to a number of nice beaches and local bars/restaurants.
The evening musicians were the best we have ever experienced at a hotel, really talented and varied each night.
The spa was very nice too, we enjoyed a 50 minute relaxation massage which was indeed very relaxing. This spa was a little unassuming, tucked away on the lowest level and didn't get alot of marketing so could be easily missed if not aware.

Overall, a fabulous hotel (all inclusive and adults only). We would unreservedly recommend taking out the additional 'The Reserve' option. This enables you access to all parts of the hotel, exclusive pool, bar and lounge areas (food and drinks free all day) with separate reception for check in/out and general services, and for a private breakfast which was of an excellent standard. Service amazing.
Generally, food and choices were of an excellent standard. We weren't overly impressed with the Italian Cappella restaurant, but Samira the Turkish restaurant was truly wonderful. The Ginger Bar and Malva restaurant (the buffet restaurant for all meals for all guests) offered an amazing range of food of a really high standard. Alcoholic drinks served with meals was of a high quality, often known brands. Local wine was served from all bars/restaurants, but if you ask for the Clamore wines, they are fabulous.
The Reserve pool area is outstanding for appeal, cleanliness and quality of sunbeds, which were all replaced the day after we arrived. Pool Bar food is fine, but gets busy at lunchtime and often takes a long time to be served. We often went into Malva, for speed and quality of food, for lunch.
Public toilets could do with cleaning a little more regularly and aren't the best either around the pools or in the hotel. The one drawback of staying there.
Rooms are of a high standard with large balconies, although a confined space, due to the design of the hotel. Spotlessly clean, regular changing of towels and bed linen, and a plentiful supply in the room bar.
The hotel is located 17 minutes drive from the airport. We picked up a hire car from the airport for the week of our stay - best quality of cars, value and service we've ever had in any of the Canary Islands - and it was a real bonus when the weather was poor, which it was for all but one of the days we were there!!
In summary, we highly recommend the hotel and location - there are long promenade walks and plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The public beaches are quite small, but well maintained. Had we had the usual warm, dry weather, our holiday would have been nearly perfect!!

I could write hundreds of words about the Paradisus after our 10 day stay last month. There were 18 of us there to celebrate a 60th birthday. This hotel ticked all of the boxes. The staff were exceptional. (Soubair and Rafael, we loved you two!) Always friendly and always there to help. The food was 5 stars in each restaurant. The bar staff were great, remembering our names and what we liked to drink. I saw where people complained about the pool being cold. It is a "salt-water lagoon pool" which is unheated. My wife and I swam 2 or 3 times a day. It was cool and not many others were in the pool. But we liked it. We are looking to go back next year. Great value for money, in our experience.

I took tennis lessons at the hotel with the club trainer Boris for two weeks. I would like to say that the training was a great deal, particularly when compared with the prices in Germany. Boris was very friendly, knowledgeable, flexible and helped me improve my game. At the end he even sent me a summary of points that I could work on when back home. I would highly recommend him to anyone that would like to play or practice when visiting Costa Teguise.
