Baby club is amazing! We stayed longer just because of it. Lucia is professional and fantastic - our baby adores her! The whole team working with the children is very friendly and gives a lot of attention! We are very happy with the activities for children! Friendly staff, clean environment, delicious food.

The hotel is located just outside of Benidorm, surrounded by a golf course. Its location is suitable if you prefer a quiet holiday.
The amenities are adequate, although most pf the restaurants within the premises were closed, even during peak season.
The rooms are comfortable but outdated in terms of furniture and amenities. The rooms would also benefit from better maintenance as some of the walls have cracks or require paint. This is somewhat disappointing, considering the number of stars that the hotel has.
Cleanliness is also not one of the strong points of this hotel and I would suggest some improvements in this regard.
The staff is friendly although I would expect a higher degree of customer service in some areas, considering once again the number of stars awarded to the hotel.
Although it has been an overall good experience, the hotel would benefit from updated rooms and improved cleaning services.

Rooms are a bit outdated, but prices are not. Only three restaurants to dine from and they all got somewhat mediocre food. Not very tasteful, not many choices to choose from. They didn’t have any good choices for steak, pizza was crispy but tasteless. And the food is crazy overpriced. Lunch buffet was also crazy overpriced, could take a taxi downtown and buy three people lunch for the same price. Not the cleanest of hotels, big and hard to figure how to get around. The biggest downfall is that it’s located far far away from the city. It’s almost two hours to walk to the city. Poor HVAC system, neither heating or cooling work. Beds are really hard, and the bathroom has a tub but it’s too shallow to take a nice warm bath in.
Had a nice week here, but would absolutely not choose this hotel again. Mostly because of it’s location. It’s way to cumbersome to get to and from town, for shopping and dining out

Magnificent landscape and potential but due to the way it's served - ended up being a Very disappointing 4 star hotel: you basically pay for everything on top of your room rate and noone really cares about your stay! I was surprised they didn't charge us for pool towels!
You pay min 160eur a night for just B&B, that's it, don't expect anything else. Not even free bottles of water even though tap water is not drinkable, no tea/coffee sets in the room.
Access to Spa is extra cost for limited 1h time 22 eur if booked at the check-in, otherwise 25 eur :D A Joke!
Restaurants don't give any discount for hotel residents. Nor you get any discounts on Padel or Golf.
"Life" around the pools is only during the weekend because there are some "volumes", the rest of the week - you are on your own, so if you want to lay by the kids pool - go get your sunbed yourself from the storage and drag it there...
Noone really cares how is your stay, even at check-out time there was no questioning. Just "Here is your final bill. Thank you. Next."
SPA was closed for 3 days for sanitization purposes and do you think we were notified? Of course not, so we couldn't use it in the end. Does the price of your room come down because not all promised amenities are available? Of course not!
Out of the hotel stuff we faced (there were dozens) we can do a special 5-star mention to the maid Silvia who was really helpful and kind, and to the receptionist Claudia for trying to help with the room change that we were waiting for 5 hours since it was confirmed. They said "customer experience team will call you" - yeah right! Noone ever called, and coming to the reception desk 4 times finally paid by some action from the team.
Your sleep is not guaranteed, as you can be lucky with: extremely noise neighbors from golf or event groups (that they hotel does treat well because they come with big revenues!), or a really noisy AC, or workers moving their construction materials at 7am and chatting right next to your door.
Bedsheets are not being changed everyday (even though it's a policy for a 4 star hotel), no utilities in the bathroom. And also matter of luck - getting a room with the used water smells complements the joy from your stay. And when you call the reception to check it - "yes sure, we will send you someone" and guess what - they never did!
And last but not least - try to get a lunch in the main square bar: looks lovely, but... wait 15min to get a table cleaned and get seated, then 20more min to get waitress' attention so she brings you a menu, and then get your beer spilled on the table while serving you and do you think she apologized and cleaned a table? I guess you know the answer... Rude and arrogant attitude.
To sum-up - look for some other places around that propose more competitive offers to the visitors where you would feel welcomed, cherished and well, just simply respected and valued.

We stayed in one of the family-size rooms during the off-season and found it comfortable and perfectly located right next to the kids’ activity hall and playground. The grounds were well-maintained, clean, and beautiful. I can’t say enough about this. A truly picturesque place, with plenty of areas to wander through and enjoy.
Easily the biggest highlight of our stay was the staff. With the exception of the Mosaico manager, everyone was so friendly and helpful! I don’t know why the restaurant manager was so tense - maybe they’re new. 🤷♂️
My one serious complaint is the lack of a nespresso pod machine (or any kind of coffee machine) in every room. This has become a standard in hotels across Europe and I’m surprised that it hasn’t found adoption at Meliá.
