I really wanted this to be a good hotel, but unfortunately, the experience was mediocre at best. The room looked nothing like the hotel itself—very outdated and extremely worn. The plumbing felt antiquated; we had to wait 5–10 minutes for hot water, and the toilet barely flushed. I expressed these concerns to multiple staff members and was repeatedly given assurances that the issues would be addressed, but nothing was ever resolved. To make matters worse, our room was part of a two-bedroom setup. Since we only booked one room, the adjoining room was occupied by another family who was extremely loud well past 10 p.m. I contacted the front desk, but the issue was not effectively handled. This property advertises a “kids club,” similar to other Meliá hotels we’ve stayed at, but it was poorly advertised and inadequately staffed. There were no visible staff members engaging with children or supervising activities around the pool area, which falls short of the standard we expect from this brand. Additionally, towels by the pool were consistently unavailable. The towel area was empty most of the time, and towels were only restocked after I personally tracked someone down to request them. I also spoke with Jennifer, who promised compensation for the various issues and dissatisfaction we experienced. Unfortunately, after that conversation, I never heard from her again. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations and lacked the level of service, upkeep, and follow-through that should be standard for a hotel of this brand.

Don't remember when our last time staying here was. We've stayed here twice but I can't find my old review to update it. Was looking forward to going back again because based on our 1st stay, we loved the place. Our second stay, not great at all. Summer in Florida in a room with a broken a/c. They tried to fix it several times for several days. On the final day of our stay they decided it was broken and I think they may have offered a downgraded room but at that point check out was only 1 sleep away. We were pacified by a very nice front desk lady but promises were never kept. I never received any further communication from them at all and definitely not the 1 night free accomodation(we stayed 3) that they said would be issued for our inconvenience. Very poor followup and follow thru for repeat customers. Left a bad taste in my mouth and I have not returned. We stay at a lot of local hotels just as staycation but Melia you fell short of expectations. Please do not reply to this to get in touch with MGMT and you will take care of the situation because you won't.

I had such a great stay here! The staff were super nice and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing, and the location is awesome — close to Disney and plenty of restaurants. Overall, it was a really comfortable and enjoyable stay. I’d definitely come back again!

I stayed here recently and overall had a comfortable stay, though there were a few highs and lows. Liam checked me in and he was incredibly friendly and welcoming—such a great first impression! The pool area was clean, on the smaller side but really pretty, and I loved the outdoor space with umbrellas for shade. The pool design was a highlight—it went from shallow to deep, which was perfect for me to take my 4-month-old in the shallow end and still enjoy the water in a shaded spot. They also offered free drinks from 4–5pm, which was a nice perk. I didn’t get to try the food, but my mom mentioned the coffee wasn’t great. The rooms were very spacious (we had a 2-guest suite), but they felt a bit underwhelming. The furniture could definitely use an upgrade to feel more modern, and the overall cleaning could have been better. The sheets were rough and stiff, which took away from the comfort a bit. Another downside—the hallways were hot, and the elevators had a strong smoke/weed smell every time we used them. Despite these drawbacks, the location was great—close to Disney Springs and the highway—making it convenient for getting around. With a few improvements, especially in the rooms and common areas, this place could really shine.

Aguilar Fam

The Aguilars gave this hotel a shot and liked it a lot. It was comfortable, easy to get to, pool looked fun, and the beds were really comfortable. The AC was a little loud, at least in our room. But besides that it was good. We would go back and highly recommend to others :)
