    We had a fabulous vacation at the Melia Caribe Beach Resort. We loved everything...the location, the beach, the restaurants, and the people! All employees were so kind and welcoming. Our concierge, Abelardo, was exceptional and made sure we enjoyed every aspect of our holiday and we didn't have to worry about anything. Thanks to Abelardo we had reservations each night at the restaurant of our choice. We mentioned to him it was my nephew's 21st birthday and he surprised us in the room with cake and a bottle of champagne. He went over and beyond and we greatly appreciated it. We will definitely be back!

    We have been here for 4 days and have really enjoyed our stay! As we have navigated the bars and restaurants, our favorite is the bar outside of La Hacienda! Stanley and Mayra have been amazing! I really appreciated the personal service they have given my family! We didn’t have reservations for dinner one night, they were able to work us in and made my 3 boys feel very welcome! When coming back 3 nights later, they remembered my boys and the exact drinks they loved! They were great!

    Overall nice resort. We stayed in the two bedroom level suite and enjoyed the space. The room is dated but spacious and comfortable. Food and service are fine but not five star. Entertainment is great especially for children. My 8 year old loved the splash park. We had some great service and some not so great. Standouts were Manual from the restaurants team and Reynardo our concierge who was friendly, helpful and responsive! I would recommend the Level when staying at this resort. The exclusive beach, pool, lounge and restaurant were very nice touches and improved our experience. The Level staff at checkin are not friendly. That could be improved especially since that is your first impression. Otherwise, most staff are very nice. I would come back if the Level staff was better. Unfortunately, they really didn’t make us feel welcome and I don’t think I would come back to a place like that.

    Review for Olive Bar Absolutely love this spot! The bartenders are incredibly friendly and attentive — they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. One of the things I appreciate most is that they’re always on top of your drink; my glass was never empty the entire evening. Great atmosphere, great service, and an overall fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

    Unhygienic and Unsafe – Avoid This Resort at All Costs This resort is an absolute health hazard. Food was routinely left out for hours at a time, completely exposed, with flies hovering around the serving trays. To make matters worse, stray cats roamed freely around the dining area, often digging through garbage bins just feet away from where guests were eating. It was both unsanitary and deeply unsettling. The food quality itself was extremely poor—bland, low-grade ingredients, and clearly not handled with proper care. Everyone in my group ended up getting sick during our stay, and we're still feeling the effects four days after returning home. This wasn’t just a one-off upset stomach—this was full-on food poisoning, and it ruined our entire trip. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It’s clear the resort is cutting corners on basic cleanliness and food safety, which puts guests at serious risk. Spend your money somewhere that actually values health, hygiene, and hospitality.
