    This place is a very amazing spot if you are looking to come to Punta Cana, this is amazing spot to experience great people/ friendships and love. All of the staff are so incredibly welcoming and nice people, but one of the staff really made me feel super welcome. His name is Ronny Mercado. He has brought so much laughter, energy and love to his customers. He has made our experience here absolutely lovely and he has such a kind heart and does what he can for his family and fellow peers. I 100 percent recommend this resort, and if you end up meeting this man, never be afraid to say hi. He will greet you with open arms.

    The resort is very nice... I specifically want to point out how excellent everything is in their restaurant Rumba Dominicana. Yvens and the rest of the wait staff are tremendously friendly and helpful. The food here is also better than everywhere else we ate. I cannot recommend more highly Rumba Dominicana if you decide to come to Melia Caribe. I would put pictures in the review, but we ate everything too fast.

    We had an excellent dining experience at Markado, the buffet at the Meliá resort in the Dominican Republic. The selection was fresh, delicious, and constantly replenished, with something for everyone. What truly made the experience stand out was the outstanding service from William. He was friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. His welcoming attitude and professionalism made the meal feel special, even in a busy buffet setting. If you’re staying at Meliá, make sure to stop by Markado—William’s service alone makes it worth the visit. Highly recommend

    Service is very bad. Takes a long time to get anything. The food is subpar. The a la Carte restaurants are not good at all. There was nothing special about them, it’s simply the locals who try their best to imitate Italian, Japanese steakhouse and Mexican food. There wasn’t one wow factor about any of these, in fact we only booked each restaurant once, despite having unlimited because there was nothing that set them apart from the buffet. Pools are great, beach is beautiful, but not nearly enough chairs. If you want chairs for two people at the beach be prepared to be out there for 7am to get them. You will be hit with many salesman while on the beach trying to book excursions. They don’t care if your eyes are closed, Sleeping they will wake you until they get a response. One after the other. The workers for the most part are very nice and they work hard, just perhaps very bad management they need leadership.

    A great couple of days spend here. The resort itself is amazing, plenty of things to do. There is so much wildlife, if you are an avid bird watcher / photographer like me you’ll be entertained! Junior who works at the front desk was super helpful. When checking in, the room I was assigned wasn’t ready even though it was after check in time and he arranged to switch rooms. He also helped me with a taxi to get to the airport earlier as there was an issue with my flight.
