The Medhufushi Island Resort all-inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Breakfast at the main restaurant
  • Lunch served at the main restaurant
  • Afternoon tea with snacks served at the a la carte restaurant
  • Dinner served at the main restaurant
  • Bottled water and drinks served by glass, including soft drinks, cocktails, beer, house wine and selected pouring spirits (10am to 12midnight, drinks served after 12midnight will be charged at normal rate)
  • Minibar, with soft drinks and water (refilled daily)

  • 20% discount on meals at the a la carte restaurant if the bill exceeds US$50

Me and my family came to Medhufushi just last week and we were happy with our choice of resort. We arrived with the plane on the way to the resort and were immediately greeted with a drink, they then brought us to the rooms. We took the beach villas which had an incredible view alongside being immersed in trees and plants. The rooms are spacious however, some maintenance should be done, not only regarding the rooms but especially in the common areas. The wood paneling of the pool was something we noticed as being particularly worn which should be changed. The towels used sometimes were particularly worn (in some cases with holes). The main activity that we did during our time on the island was snorkeling which was worth it. During the snorkeling excursion, we saw dolphins and sharks and even managed to see some as we swam. Another truly impressive part of the resort was the care the staff had to meet every need we had. Having a person with gluten allergy we did not expect to be treated with such great care. The head chef Anukmar alongside all of his staff made the experience of breakfast and dinner great. They went out of their way to prepare gluten-free pancakes in the morning and even showed around the buffet every night to indicate the gluten-free foods. Although the staff for the rooms and other spaces was nothing short of kind and fast we had a few problems with the staff at the reception. This is a simple resort which is ideal for those who want a quite vacation while appreciating nature.

We had the absolute pleasure of being attended to by Mr. Nowfil at main restaurant during our stay at Medhufushi, and we cannot praise him enough. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcomed, remembered our preferences, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Whether it was a morning coffee or a late dinner, he was consistently attentive and kind without ever being intrusive. He truly elevated our experience unforgettable. Thank you, Nowfil, for going above and beyond—you’re a true gem!

What a amazing resort very clean tidy and just beautiful. We had a water villa. I really enjoyed feeding the sharks and rays. Lovely weather ☀️ Staff are so friendly helpful and very attentive. The experience was wonderful despite a few issues. The food, in relation to its cost, was not worth it, and there were very few good Indian options available. Additionally, the waitstaff seemed biased towards Foreigners. Another issue was that the bedsheets were not changed once during our 5-day stay, which was disappointing for a 4-star hotel, as basic cleaning should include this. On the positive side, everything else was great. The location and cleanliness of the resort were top-notch. However, it’s important to note that it is quite far from Male Airport, and they only have two speedboats available each day.

What an amazing place! My husband and I just returned from our 10-night honeymoon and feel incredibly lucky to have experienced this paradise. This was my second visit to the island; I had been there 11 years ago, and to return now with my husband was a dream come true. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. Special thanks go to Sajed, Liton, and Anukumar, who went above and beyond to make our trip so special. We can't thank them enough for providing us with the best experience we could have asked for. The food is out of this world, and the views and sea life surrounding us were breathtaking. We are already saving up in hopes of visiting again!
