We had a fantastic stay at Maya Ubud with three families and four kids. The location is absolutely stunning – surrounded by jungle and overlooking rice paddies – but what really made it special was the incredible staff. Huge thanks to Sutrisna and Dalum from the food and beverage team for their warm, attentive service – one during the day, one at night. And to Griya, my massage therapist, who gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The spa room was set above a rushing river, with birds calling from the treetops – an unforgettable experience. Our villa was spacious, clean and peaceful, with a private pool and views across the rice fields. Great for relaxing, but there’s also heaps to do if you’re feeling active. The adult only area was exceptional, but a bit hard to enjoy when traveling with kids (obviously). The influencers seemed to be having fun though. The food was good and plentiful, though not outstanding – but everything else more than made up for it. Beautiful grounds, thoughtful staff and a really memorable holiday. Would definitely recommend.

Maya Ubud is a paradise! Everything from the minute we walked in was anticipated and taken care of. Nothing was too big or small of a request and the staff were lovely. We would like to point out the outstanding service we received from both Eka and Gangga! They were always so helpful, happy and greeted us with kind conversation. They responded quickly whenever we needed something and remembered our names from the moment we met. The grounds of the resort are stunning and there’s lots of different areas to explore. We loved the Riverside pool and Tree Bar. Housekeeping were great and the little treats that kept coming to our room were a very nice surpise.

Maya Ubud was an absolutely wonderful experience. The rooms were spotless and super comfortable – a really peaceful place to unwind. The whole resort feels like a hidden gem, surrounded by dense, lush forest, which adds to the calm and beauty of the stay. A big shoutout to our butlers, Gangga and Mana – they were absolutely incredible! Always around when we needed something, super friendly, and even gave us a tour around the property, which helped us take in how beautiful and peaceful the whole place is. They even helped me arrange a surprise for my dad, and it turned out so special – definitely a moment I’ll never forget. The restaurants were amazing, with great food and atmosphere, and one evening there was a traditional cultural show that was truly beautiful to watch. Also, the gym was fantastic – well-equipped and had great views too. Can’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely be back!

Staying at Maya Ubud was the experience of a lifetime. The level of service and attention we have received is unmatched. While we stayed we did the couples massage, visited both pools, free yoga, complimentary photoshoot, and watched the barong dance. We also had breakfast at the hotel most mornings, which is an amazing value and wonderfully diverse selection. I will miss the butter cakes and fresh juice bar!!! The grounds are immaculate. The concierge is so accommodating on arrival. We stayed in a pool villa and had the immense pleasure of having Ricky take care of us. He was so kind and thoughtful during our stay and always available to help via WhatsApp. He’s also very funny! We will miss everyone at Maya Ubud and are counting down the days till we can have another dream vacation here.

The perfect honeymoon destination. Staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. We were initially worried about going to Bali as my wife has numerous food allergies (eggs, beans, peas, nuts). As soon as we arrived, the staff were attentive and proactive in ensuring we were properly catered and cared for. This helped make this resort a perfect place to relax and enjoy our honeymoon. The Villa we stayed in was clean and the pool was brilliant. We recommend the Villa grill experience which made our experience special.
