An oasis in Ubud. Gorgeous, peaceful property with Lovely walking paths. Spacious and comfortable rooms with excellent bedding, Vast pillow selection, outstanding showers and baths with bath salts. Relaxing pools in stunning settings. The breakfast buffet is one of the best ever with a large selection of buried cuisines and preparations. Helpful and lovely staff. Gung Tya was lovely, very helpful and friendly and always made sure our plates were cleaned and our coffee cups were full, it was a joy to see her at breakfast each morning. Excellent restaurants and service.

Absolutely wonderful resort. Everything is perfect. We didn't leave the resort because everything we needed was there. Our Heavenly Villa with pool was spacious, modern, immaculately clean and the butler service was outstanding. Thank you to Yoga, Rupa, Satria and Gus 🙏 Always so prompt, happy, helpful and polite. They responded immediately every time we needed. It felt like we really were on a retreat. The food in each restaurant was also excellent. The massages we received at the Maya Spa was also the best environment we found in Bali. They have many groundsman working well too, so the gardens everywhere are stunning. It was so peaceful there. All the staff at this resort were the happiest and most helpful of all we have encountered. The management of this resort must be very good to have so many happy obliging staff - quite uplifting being in a positive environment. It was a wonderful, positive, refreshing time for us to reset and we very grateful to have stayed at Maya Ubud Resort. We will always come to back to this one.

Maya Ubud is a truly special place. What sets Maya apart from other resorts in Ubud is its unique blend of nature, comfort, and exceptional hospitality. We stayed in the Heavenly Two-Bedroom Pool Villa for seven nights in February 2026. Built 25 years ago within a lush jungle, with a river running through the resort, Maya has managed to preserve a beautiful forest atmosphere with minimal building clutter. The result is a peaceful oasis of comfort and serenity. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco, two lovely cakes, macarons, and a fruit basket. The food throughout our stay was top-notch, and we were fortunate to chat with the executive chef, Dewa Budiartana, who kindly explained the philosophy and influences behind Balinese cuisine. The real asset of Maya is its staff. From the Butler team—especially Ricky, Putra, and Wiantara—who looked after us daily with the utmost attention and care, to the breakfast team, the service was outstanding. The breakfast buffet was a feast every morning, offering an incredible variety of choices and flavours, and we were warmly looked after by Sadewa and Dewi. Diaska was exceptional in sharing his knowledge of Balinese life and culture and is truly an asset to Maya. We also enjoyed the complimentary Asian pool breakfast, which was a lot of fun and a memorable experience.

I’m currently staying at this hotel and it has been a wonderful experience so far. The environment is extremely peaceful and relaxing — perfect for a quiet getaway. The breakfast offers quite a good variety of options, which makes each morning enjoyable. The staff are very polite and attentive. Whether at the drink bar or the traditional restaurant, the service has been excellent. The food is also delicious and well-prepared. There are also different special programs every evening, which add a unique touch to the stay. Overall, I’m really enjoying my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

We booked one night at Maya Resort and Spa before our retreat in Bali, and we loved everything the beautiful people, our room, the breakfast, the location, and the stunning nature.
