Just stayed here for a week with our family of five. It is a lovely hotel. The rooms are beautiful and the staff are excellent. Tree bar is great for happy hour drinks. We usually eat out but in-house food at the hotel is very good too. Overall for us, it was not really fit for purpose because we have 3 Primary school aged boys who got a bit bored. They are too old for kids club activities (which anre aumed at 6 and under. The pool is a bit smaller than expected. If you have younger children or are a Group of adults or couple, I’d recommend this hotel. We will try somewhere with more activities For older kids next time.

The hotel is great with fantastic rooms and a great location. There are just a couple of things that let it down. The main pool is shallow at 1.2m, whilst this is great for families with young kids (we have 2) i would prefer a slightly deeper pool as I struggled to swim properly. The other is the beach, it's not great. There is a lot of seaweed and it's shallow so cannot swim much. Bali has a big problem with litter and there is a lot of litter on the beach. The hotel does clean up their portion of the beach however the neighbouring sites have a lot of litter and when you are swimming in the sea you will see this. It's most of Bali that you will encounter the same issue so it's not unique to this hotel. I have fed this back to our travel agents and it was my agents that oversold the beach. If you can ignore the litter and just want a beach to walk on then it's fine. Location is great and there are loads of shops and hotels on the road so you are spoilt for choice.

It’s the best hotel we ever stayed in. Of course the decorations and architecture is almost a piece of art, and the rooms are amazing, but in this place particularly you’ll find the best customer service ever. Buda, Asmika, Wisna, Hermanto and Aldi are amazing, not only they cleaned our rooms in the morning and in the evening, they were also making towel arts after each passage and leaving cute notes asking if everything was okay or wishing us a good night or morning, we’ve never seen this in any place before, they truly care about customers and this is rare. If you decide to go to the restaurant ( what I strongly advise because the food is amazing) you’ll find there Lia and her colleagues that will do everything for you to feel waited there. They will remember your name, serve you with an elegance that exists only in Asian countries and care about you and adapt meals to your tastes or allergies. I once asked for an avocado toast that wasn’t on the menu, but they still did it, just for me, in other hotels they would just say sorry, we do only what’s on the menu, so I really advise to everyone that are looking for a place where to relax and have a good time to visit maya sanur!!

Ayu Septima and Padmini very special beautiful people and excellent breakfast service. Thankyou so much for great hospitality and lovely smiles all the time. Always happy and helping. Also the daily yoga was fantastic, Amins class was soooo good, very inspiring to help us do our best with yoga..... The whole hotel staff are extremely helpful, attentive and accommodating to all requests. The spa was relaxing. I had best experience, the people are beautiful. This hotel I recommend to all.

We stayed for 3 nights, from April 1 to 4, 2025 at Impressive Lagoon Suites. The resort is not large (in comparison to other 5 stars resorts we have stayed before), but with proper settings it feels comfortable. The impressive lagoon suites (with additional 1 bed) is enough for a family of 5 people (which I gratefully thankful, because not many 5 stars resorts permit a family of 5 people stay in 1 room). The room is clean, very comfortable, and has good wifi connection for online game. The staff are very polite. They said we had a buttler service for staying at an impressive lagoon suites, who can be approached by whatsapp. Until the day we departed, they still didn't text me their buttler's whatsapp number 🙄. We also had an incident in the breakfast room when the staff chased us to collect the payment (they mistook us for other guest), which was quite embarassing. The problem was resolved with an apology after I contacted the front office. The pool is facing the beach and has a very excellent view during sunrise. Too bad the sun loungers have many birds' stools, please make sure the staff to clean them. The breakfast is quite good and the room dining has a good settings. You have to try Kuu resto (a Japanese resto), they taste very good.
