We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Our room was like a dream—spacious, beautifully equipped, and the view from our terrace was absolutely splendid. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and a special thank you goes to Leni, who made us feel right at home. We dined at two of the hotel’s restaurants, and both served delicious food with excellent service. And of course, the pool was just perfect—peaceful, clean, and very relaxing. Our Butlers Rendi and Angga were superb at responding promptly and positively to our WhatsApp requests. The service and staff performance on the whole was good - housekeeping could be more consistent, which would mean less interaction with the Butlers asking for things. Kids club was so quiet and really aimed at young ones rather than my tween. The rooms were ok, but double beds are definitely not luxurious and the private pool was one huge lap pool you got your rooms’ length to use. Our daybed had an ant problem, which made trying to relax on it difficult! Rue restaurant did their best to adapt menu items for gluten free, but we found the Tree Bar offered limited choice and were unwilling to adapt. When they were given a years notice we were all gluten free and staying for two weeks’ we hoped for more dinner options. Nice location on the beach and lovely live music of an evening.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Maya Sanur Resort & Spa. The hotel gave me a coffee voucher and the coffee was excellent. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of options. The location and design of the hotel are fantastic, and the bed in the room was very comfortable. Housekeeping kept everything spotless every day. I also booked the flower bath in the bathtub, which the staff prepared beautifully at a very reasonable price. In addition, I experienced their spa during the morning happy hour with a 30% discount, which was amazing. The therapists really care about your condition — for example, before a facial massage they ask about your past treatments and timing to tailor the session precisely for you. Another highlight is that the hotel is right by the beach, and there’s a newly opened Icon Mall nearby, making it very convenient to explore. Since Sanur is on the east coast, you can enjoy the most beautiful sunrise right from the hotel’s beach. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations — a perfect holiday experience. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We had the most wonderful stay at Maya Sanur and cannot speak highly enough of both the staff and the resort. From the moment we arrived, every detail was taken care of with warmth and professionalism. A special mention must go to Rani, who was truly outstanding in her customer service. She greeted us with genuine kindness, always anticipated our needs, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and cared for. Her attention to detail and positive energy really made our stay extra special – she is a true asset to Maya Sanur. The entire Maya Sanur team were also amazing – friendly, attentive, and consistently welcoming. Every interaction, whether at the front desk, in the restaurant, or by the pool, left us feeling valued and relaxed. I especially appreciated how easy it was to order gluten-free food for breakfast each day – the staff remembered and made it completely stress-free, which was such a relief when travelling. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located in Sanur, but it is the staff who make it unforgettable. Thank you, Maya Sanur, for such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to return!

Impressive Lagoon Suite: Almost perfect! Two things brought it down; small beds, too small for a family of four (two doubles), and, smokers on the neighbouring lagoon pool deck ruining our enjoyment of our lagoon pool, and the smoke billowing into our room… The level of service is excellent, from the cool drink while you check in, to room service double checking your room is empty on check out. I found the butler was responsive and provided genuine service. However, their solution to my smoking neighbours (to draw the curtains and use a humidifier), meant we couldn’t use our lagoon pool for the last two days of our stay. I really liked the overall aesthetic, interior and exterior architecture is dreamy, tropical paradise mixed with modern Indonesian design. All fixtures, the bathroom, air con etc. were all good quality. We found the food at the tree top restaurant was great for dinner. We were also really impressed with the breakfast buffet, great quality, quantity and it ran from 7-11am.
