Our stay at Mauritia was truly one of the most amazing weekends of our lives. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special, welcoming, and perfectly taken care of. The atmosphere, the comfort, and the overall experience exceeded all our expectations and created memories we will cherish forever. Just returned from our December holiday. Lovely place to stay. All inclusive is a must, they give you a bangle which allows you to access unlimited beers and wines and cocktails etc. If you don't get this, expect to pay out of your teeth, drinks are very expensive like $11 for a cocktail and $3.50 for a water. You can also visit the other four star resorts and use the same bangle. I didn't like the main eating area as it was very loud with no sound dampening but there are spots a bit further away to eat. Staff always friendly. Night entertainment was average but I will give an A for effort! Service was good. Location is excellent for exploring and perhaps eating out once of twice, as the main Grand Baie CBD is close.

I had a wonderful dinner at le Mauricia with Geraldine, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming,the service was attentive without being intrusive,and the food prepared by the chef was absolutely amazing. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented,truly a highlight of the evening. We also appreciated the staff's friendliness and the relaxing setting that made the evening even more enjoyable. A great spot for a pleasant dinner,and I highly recommend it! We'll definitely be back!

We stayed at Beachcomber Mauricia in December as a large family group (9 people, including small children). Overall, it’s a decent family-friendly resort with some clear positives and a few frustrating drawbacks. The buffet food had good variety every day and worked well for kids. Snacks during the day were disappointing (dry sandwiches). We ate once at the à la carte restaurant: starters were good, mains were average to poor, and service was very slow with long gaps between orders. Because of this, we cancelled our second booking. Drinks service was generally quick with a good all-inclusive selection, although we had a poor experience at the bar on the first night due to an unhelpful bartender. After that, bar service was fine. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and housekeeping staff were friendly. The biggest frustration was the sunbed/towel reserving issue. Loungers under umbrellas were “reserved” early and left unused for hours. Staff were unwilling to help, even when we had small children and no shade. Eventually, we had to move an umbrella ourselves. This really needs better enforcement by the resort. The beach is lovely, calm and very safe for kids. Water sports were well organised and a highlight. Evening music was nice, but there were no traditional Mauritian shows. Overall: a nice resort with a great beach and good facilities for families, but service consistency, communication, and poolside management need improvement.

Great resort. Rooms were good value, clean and big enough. Bed and pillows were good. Pool and facilities were good. The staff were amazing, always ready to help. The food and buffet was good, sometimes a bit of a hit and miss. The service was also a bit of a hit and miss, some staff were well trained and experienced, others seemed under trained and let down the level of service. Never because they were not enthusiastic, just not trained well. We would go back.
