Very cool historic hotel. Received a not unpleasant, somewhat detached welcome. This seemed to be the general vibe. Staff was generally friendly but not particularly engaged.
Rooms were small, as expected in a hotel of this era. Clean, well kept.
Ordered oatmeal and a cup of coffee for brekkie. About as simple as it gets. Brown sugar and butter were an up charge. (What??). 20% tip was mandatory. Came to $22, seems quite steep even by NYC standards.
Asked for a to go cup for my unfinished coffee. No. To go coffee is a separate charge.
Would return for the location, not for the experience.

The ONLY reason I give this location a 4 out of 5 is due to the "thin" walls separating the rooms. Overall, my experience here was GREAT!!! The check-in process was seamless and the lady who performed my check-in was no less than professional and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable and exactly what I expected. The hotel is beautiful and if you have an opportunity to climb the staircase instead of jumping on the elevator than the only thing I can say is "do it". From the moment I walked up to the entry of the hotel until I left I was welcomed by professionals. Thank you to all who made my stay such a pleasure. I certainly look forward to returning to this location to stay longer than one (1) night in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful - especially the bellman at the front! The bathroom seemed small, but this is NY and it is an older building. The lobby was always clean and bright, we felt safe coming home at night, and the on-site coffee bar was very appreciated!

Everything was excellent, the rooms, the service, the options, and the location right in the heart of koreatown. Great food everywhere, close to Broadway shows, and lots of other items. Only thing if I were being picky is that there are a lack of elevators for a hotel this size so sometimes there may be a little weight to get up and down. Outside of that everything was excellent.

Pleasantly surprised how roomy and quiet this hotel was! I did not hear my neighbors, elevators or street noise. I have Hilton Honors keyless check-in and was able to select my room and use the app to access the room. Super convenient! Very central location right at Herald Square. The hallway and outer room doors look rundown, but the inside of the rooms were very nice, updated, and clean. Shower was nice and had plenty of towels. I would stay here again!
