This review is of the Marti La Perla Hotel.. Potentially a very good hotel. It's got a great location, good staff, excellent rooms and excellent evening entertainment. There is obviously a "but".. One bar for the entire hotel is crazy and caused lots of adverse comments. There is a great need for experienced and committed management to direct the young staff and drive the business. The food is below standard in terms of quality and quantity. The sight of 3 ox tongues in a pan will live with me for a while. Butterflied chicken with bones and soggy skin was just not worth eating. We loved many aspects of the hotel but we will probably not be returning.

Absolutely loved our recent trip to Marti Resort Deluxe. The whole hotel was immaculate, the staff were so attentive and helpful, making special cocktails for us both and even bringing them over to us on roller skates when we were by the pool! Nothing was ever too much!! Food was lovely, and there was always entertainment on every evening! Such a great location too, right next to the beach, with their own private beach area with free sun loungers. Me and my boyfriend will 100% go back again, it was such a beautiful experience ☀️🌴

The Marti Resort was so beautiful, me and my family had an amazing time. All staff members were so friendly and kind. The room was great with sea view. Both my sons enjoyed the stay very much. Overall it was an excellent experience loved everything. I used the spa and had an Turkish bath and massage which was an amazing experience, Intan was such a lovely women she explained what she was doing and always made sure I was comfortable, she does a great job hats off to her. Thank you everyone at Marti Resort for being so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend a visit.

Loved the location, beach and spaciousness of the hotel areas. Disappointed in all else. Very substandard condition of hotel (needs upgrade), food sub par, many service staff don’t speak English or Turkish. Shocking as we paid a hefty price for a week. Have been coming to Turkey for years and never had such below average food. We were not on a pkg tour. Hotel seems to want to cater to cheap package tours. Charge others a lot paying individually. Issues with toilet, elevators, air conditioner. Sadly will not be coming back.

The Marti resort has great potential, however it is a disappointment with the staff being its biggest failing. On arrival we were feeling positive, with the lobby area / reception looking modern and clean. Then a child obviously desperate for a tip took us the wrong floor with our luggage. Having found our room we were then pleasantly surprised with a knock on the door - a bottle of wine and some fruit from a guy desperate for a tip. So far so good. The hotel claims to be recently renovated. We didn't see much evidence of this, with cracked tiles, crumpled carpets in the hallway and loose fittings in the room being the most obvious faults. The food in the restaurant is at best warm, but is frequently cold with limited variety through the week. I can tolerate the evening meal, but the breakfast is very poor, the omelette is ok and at least you can guarantee it will be warm, that is if someone is there to make it. Don't go to breakfast too early! The fruit and salad are fine, but there are always flies in he restaurant which is off putting to say the least. There are no bowls for cereal or fruit in juice. The service in the restaurants is random, there are a couple of guys in the adults only area that seem switched on, the rest don't seem interested, probably a lack of training or direction. There are some guys in blue shirts wandering around - probably supervisors. They seem to observe and supervise the chaos, doing nothing useful themselves. The drinks are hit and miss, depending on who's behind the bar. There are 4 or 5 staff that are attentive and remember your last order, but otherwise the barstaff (guessing they're new) don't know who to serve next, or that hot glasses should be cooled before being used. We still have no idea which drinks are free or paid. We asked for a cocktail list on our first visit only to be told there wasn't one, a couple of days later one appeared, a couple of days later another (more expensive) one appeared. We couldn't get a gin and tonic on one occasion - no gin or tonic. Communication is poor, they don't tell you that you need to click the switch in your room to get it serviced. They want to charge 10 euro for the indoor pool which is supposed to be free, so we've not tried it. The room service is very poor so we've stopped leaving a tip. Some days we get 2 hand towels, 2 bath towels and a bath mat, but most days we don't. Some days we get toiletries replenished, some days not. The floor isn't cleaned. I'm pretty sure they just chuck the duvet on the bed and leave. We had ants on the balcony the other day, probably because they don't clean it. Reception were informed and did resolve the any problem, although room service haven't cleaned it since. We're about half way through our two week stay and don't have much positive to say about the hotel. Yes the beach is nice with a beautiful view - although it could do with the broken sunbeds being replaced and more cushioned covers for the sunbeds. It would also benefit from a bar and w/c. The outdoor pools look great, however don't expect a peaceful day as loud music is frequently playing. Great if you like a party though. The entertainment staff seem to do a good job from what we've seen. The rooms are a reasonable size, and the showers and air con work welI. I wish I could be more positive, on arrival the hotel looked great, but the restaurant, room service and lack of professionalism or training of some of the staff let it down big style. There seems to be plenty of staff around doing nothing. It's almost like some of the staff don't know what to do and weren't expecting guests to turn up.
