This is a great resort and all the staff are great, the only thing that wasn't good was the price of everything at the resort was at least 3 or 4 times more than what you'd pay elsewhere plus there is an extra 20% tax and service charge for everything at the hotel. Most things can get delivered to your room though. The rooms are great and the hotel itself is too.

Like any other vacations club property, great rooms and services. But it has no beach access, and gives you shuttle ride to near beaches, and it is very much not enjoyable. Swimming pools closes at 8, n no Exceptions. Traffic in Bali is no joke.

A wonderful resort. Everyone was so professional, warm, polite, smiley, friendly and helpful . The front desk staff, Adelle was so cheerful and she can remember our names even when there were so many guests checking in and out. We were impressed. Edy, the concierge who guided us about the features of our room was so warm and funny too that I took a photo with him 😄. I booked a 1 bedroom apartment. Not too big overall but it was cosy. Requested ground floor and close to pool, they adhered to my request. Room was kept clean everyday. Food and cocktails at DS were delicious. Overall, we were satisfied with Marriott Gardens’s service. Everyone deserved 5* appreciation.

Worst experience. Not safe to stay here. Our belongings in the room got stolen. There’s a possibility of breaking into the room through the balcony door. However, there’s no CCTV around. Make sure to avoid staying in the ground level room where they have a balcony! Funny we came to Bali more than 5 times and stayed at 3-2 stars hotels or even hostels (shared room) before but this kind of thing never happened. Only in Marriott’s! We regret staying here and pursuing a package to come back.

Very nice stay. Studio room excellent for 2 people. Beach 20 min away or 5 min in shuttle bus. Lots of restaurants just outside the hotel. Great swimming pool. Wish to return soon.
