We had a wonderful stay at Dreams Cap Cana! The staff were absolutely amazing—so friendly, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The resort itself is gorgeous—everything from the rooms to the general decor and cleanliness was top-notch. We stayed in a swim-out king room, which was incredible. The Preferred Pool was a highlight—plenty of lounge chairs and Bali beds, and the whole area felt relaxing and upscale. The spa experience was a 10/10! The massage and hydrotherapy water journey were so peaceful and rejuvenating—definitely one of the best spa experiences I’ve had at a resort. Food-wise, breakfast and lunch were better than dinner. The Italian restaurant stood out as our favorite, and the drinks throughout the resort were consistently great. The only real downside was the beach—unfortunately, it was unusable during our stay due to heavy seaweed and brown water. It didn’t take away from the rest of the experience, but it’s worth noting if you’re hoping for clear turquoise water. The daily activities were just okay, though the entertainment team really did their best to get guests involved and have fun. Overall, it’s a beautiful property with fantastic service and amenities. If the beach conditions improve, it would be an easy 5-star stay!

We stayed there at the beginning of November, for one week. We were in a Preferred club room, with swim out and a king size bed. It was our first time to the Dominican. We had a lovely time and enjoyed our time there. The food was great, the entertainment was also good and the staff were excellent. The sit down restaurants with a la carte menus with a variety of themes allowed us to enjoy many types of food and 24 hr coco cafe was very convenient. Our concierge, Juan, was very helpful, providing us with everything we needed. Carlos, Miguel, Francesca, Daisy, and Raphael were some of our servers, whose names we remember, were really great. There were many others too whose names we do not now remember. The entertainment team really went out of their way to make the shows a great experience for all. The two girls who were on the Palm Bar keeping the crowd dancing was a nice touch and the live music very good.

I cannot say enough good things about this resort! The only down fall is the beach/swim area, I know the staff has been doing their best to make it presentable but it just isn’t good to swim. It is murky and rocky. But that is the only negative thing about this resort. But along the beach other resorts are dealing with the same. As for the resort, I am not sure if it was because of the passing hurricane Melissa but the capacity the resort from November 1-8 was at 29% for a few days and slowly rising closer to the end but the service was top notch!! I cannot say a negative thing about the staff, everyone was so friendly and ready to help with anything you needed. The food was so delicious and there was so many choices and something for everyone! The pools were so clean, and beautiful! The entertainment staff was always trying to pump up the small amount of people in the pool and always had a smile on their faces. The bar staff throughout the resort was friendly and made delicious drinks! The check in and check out was easy peasy! Having a 24 hour cafe is an added bonus! The rooms service is just as good as getting the food in the restaurants. The rooms were gorgeous and very clean. Bottled water at your disposal. The view from our room was spectacular! Felt very safe throughout the resort day and night. Dreams CapCana is located in a gated community of CapCana. Saw a number of families throughout and there seems to be a kids club. It didn’t seem like there was much clubbing at night but I wouldn’t know cause we were zonked by 10pm from the sun and food and drinks but when we did arrive at 1230pm there seemed to have been a dj at the “nightclub”. It is definitely worth looking into the villas or swim out if you’re with your partner/husband/wife they looked stunning. I would definitely recommend this resort.

My experience wouldn’t have been enjoyable at this hotel if it wasn’t for the energy of the amazing staff . Evelina always had a smile and represented what a fun bar tender is like, she does her job well making sure she provides excellent service . I asked her to make me something nice and she did just that . She made me feel comfortable , and after meeting her and Melissa I just wanted to wake up and go to the bar to enjoy the vibes of both. And don’t let me forget Luis he loves to have fun as well , he will make sure the drinks are coming and always checking to make sure your okay .

Where to start? I’ll start with food. The food is just terrible!!! Nothing tastes right. Most of the food has been pre- cooked and it feels hard and no taste at all. This is the buffet. Now, the meditteranean restaurant seemed appealing and we walked in there. We were the first customers once the restaurant opened. We got our drinks, ordered the Food at exactly 12:30. By 1:30 we started asking the server where our food was. He went to check and dissapeared. We waited another 10 minutes and walked out. Again, if you want to eat good food, you will not eat it here. The only positive thing was the staff. Very friendly and accomodating. The management should really pay more attention on food quality then how to make the staff play volley ball in the pool.
