We only stayed one night as it was only 20mins from the airport. We were really impressed by the rooms, staff and quality of fresh made food at both dinner and breakfast. The beach is very nice and the grounds are nice. Only one negative is the pools for kids. They are all too deep for young children. The only shallow pool suitable for non swimmers is for adults only which seems very silly. Our daughter wanted to play in the pool on her own but could not. We noticed a few other guests were annoyed and equally confused by this. It would actually put us off coming back, which is a shame as everything else is very good.

Do not book this resort. There are things you need to know: 1st Do not buy the membership, it’s a scam and they change the rules constantly, the promises they make when they’re selling it are not true and they will just hammer you for more and more money. 2nd this resort is tiny and only has one restaurant open per day out of the two options. The food has gone terribly down hill. I have traveled Karisma(which used to include exotic) for 12 years and this was the worst cafeteria style food I have ever had, usually Karisma prides themselves on incredible gourmet inclusive, this is not that. 3rd- these beautiful Bali beds that they have for some reason they don’t let you use them anymore. They tell you there are too many people booking them but um there is barely anyone at this resort (and now I know why) and yet they sit empty all day long, I took pictures many times through the day. And we booked under the membership. I have no idea what this is about but it’s crazy. It used to be you reserved the beds and then if someone didn’t show up by 11am then it was open for the next person to use. The hotel has been nicely remodeled but I would never come back to this location again. Also they have built a barrier for the seaweed but the water is brown all the time now sadly, not their fault- but the pictures of clear blue water is a lie. Just have the right expectations. This is a problem throughout the cancun area not just this hotel. Also please note this is not the big Margaritaville!!! There are two different ones

Our family had a beautiful vacation. The programs throughout our stay were engaging and fun. Landy was great with the kids and we loved our morning yoga with her too. Tania was so welcoming with the kids and had great art projects that our kids loved! The staff were so nice! Our butler, Alberto was great and accommodating. We will be back!

Just got back from an amazing stay at Margaritaville resort in Cancún and everything was great. The staff were super friendly and always made us feel welcome. The food was really good and there was plenty of variety even for picky eaters. One of the highlights of the trip was having Alberto as our butler. He was incredibly helpful, always checking in to make sure we had what we needed, and just made the whole experience feel seamless and relaxing. The bartenders were also fantastic—Ernesto made some of the great cocktails and always served them with a smile. The waiters, Ruben and Caesar, were incredibly attentive and made every meal feel special. Lastly, breakfast wouldn’t have been the same without Chef Patty, who made delicious omelets every morning with such warmth and care. Overall, it was the perfect place to unwind. Great service, great food, and the kind of attention to detail that really makes a difference. Would definitely come back!

We just keep going back to this resort - primarily because of the staff! Alberto, our butler, is the absolute best and takes care of our every want, even helping out with things we don’t know to ask for. He’s terrific! We also love Angela at the blended bar, Patty at the omelette bar, Emilio who delivers our room service, Edwin who is a waiter and also delivers our room service as needed, and Ernesto, Jose Luis and Gregorio, our bartenders. There are lots of others who go out of their way to provide excellent service and tall of them are greatly appreciated! We already have our next trip here planned and looking forward to seeing these great people then!
