Overall experience has been good! Itzel is one of the activities personnel and has a good attitude, maintains professionalism and makes good rapport with the guests. The staff at the resort have been very kind and friendly while maintaining good service. There’s times at the beach house where the it takes quite a while for the staff to get to the tables compared to the other reservation restaurants but otherwise they are good. Food quality is so and so with the fried chicken tasting a little off. Beaches vary due to the seaweed that floats around. It can be intense some days and it’s a shame because they try to maintain the beaches as best as they can but Mother Nature you know. Overall it’s a good experience, it’s not a party place so ideal for those looking to relax and enjoy the peace and relaxation.

Really enjoyed my stay it was a perfect mix of relaxation and activities. They had a lot of theme nights and events that made it so you did not have to leave the resort. Shout out to Colin and Itzel on the entertainment team, they are great and made everything fun, however I did not like Alex because he had a bad attitude. Gregorio, Antonio and Ernesto are the best bartenders so shout out to them. Great food from Rita’s and Frank and Lola but the beach house and Latina did not cut it. Especially the Beach House, the food was so bad from there, only the breakfast was manageable but you have to get it early. Overall I enjoyed the hotel

Pros: taco restaurant, compass bar, the two restaurants you have to make a reservation for, most of the staff. Great place for a few nights and if you’re good with hunkering down to chill. Cons: dinner at the beach house, breakfast is actually quite good but their dinner is horrible. I don’t know why but the 2 dinners we had there were awful. Food was barely room temp, my son and I got a bit of a stomach bug. Repeat pressure to attend the 90min. membership breakfast spiel. Super expensive excursions (unless you attend the 90min. Bfast spiel) (we found services much cheaper outside the resort) Towels running out, chair hogs, folks not clearing their glasses and towels after they leave so chairs look occupied but aren’t. TripAdvisor website blocked from their network. Pro tip: bring bug spray for dinner on the beaches, noseeums got my wife’s feet good! All in all we had a great relaxing trip but the overall experience could be elevated with a few tweaks.

Small, nice all-inclusive resort. The staff are very nice and super friendly. I was very surprised by the excellent top-shelf liquor selections! (At most resorts, it would've been an additional charge.) The wait staff are exceptionally nice and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and happy. The resort had a cultural event that featured dance and music. It's really a neat thing to see! A few areas of improvement would be: 1) Improvement on the pool maintenance (operational skimmers) would be helpful. 2) Install a jacuzzi or fix the hot tub jets (that's already there). 3) Ambiance is important... proper waiter attire in both restaurants and proper background music selection goes a long way. (60's, 70's, and 80's music mix in an Italian restaurant is... confusing.) 4) This is a tough one... but double the size of the fitness center and install more equipment. It's important to many of us. It was a nice week at a cozy resort.

Our getaway to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday was amazing. My spa experience with Yolanda was amazing. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the service was and how friendly the staff (Dominique) is within the spa. Emanuel at the Compass bar goes above and beyond and makes the most amazing drinks. Theresa in concierge went above and beyond at arrival and throughout our stay. This was our third trip here and we will for sure be back. The food at Latino is amazing as well as Rita’s. The resort is well maintained, smaller but I love that. Only issue is the all day chair hogs that reserve chairs, never sit in them, and take up space.
