My stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur was truly outstanding. The hotel enjoys a prime location between the Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC Park, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The room was spacious, elegant, and exceptionally clean, with breathtaking views of the city or the park. The staff were extremely professional, friendly, and attentive to the smallest details. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of high-quality options, and the restaurants within the hotel offer excellent international dining. The pool area is stunning and perfect for relaxation, and the spa and fitness facilities are top-notch. A luxurious and memorable experience — highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, elegance, and exceptional service in Kuala Lumpur.

This was my first stay at a Mandarin Oriental and I was disappointed. I expected better. As a direct comparison we had stayed at the Ritz Carlton in KL the week before and that was so much better. The biggest disappointment was the food at breakfast. It was mediocre and I would expect more from Mandarin Oriental. While there was a wide range of choices the quality was not good. The roti was made from frozen, all other hotels we stayed in Malaysia made them fresh, even the larger hotels. There didn't seem to be enough staff at breakfast and the overall impression was of a hotel relying on it's name but that didn't deliver on service. The good things about the hotel were location and the rooms were nice and clean, albeit on the small side. For the same price I would recommend anyone visiting KL stay at the Ritz Carlton and not Mandarin Oriental

I went here for the buffet dinner. From the moment we stepped into Mosaic, the all-day dining restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, we knew we were in for a treat. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, with beautiful Peranakan-inspired details and a warm, luxurious setting. The culinary journey at Mosaic is a testament to quality and variety, featuring an impressive spread of international and local delicacies. A significant highlight is the chilled seafood counter, which boasts premium, incredibly fresh selections, including plump oysters, succulent prawns, and crab legs—all presented beautifully on ice. Beyond the seafood, the interactive live stations are where the chefs shine. Guests can indulge in perfectly prepared grilled items, rich and flavourful Indian curries with freshly baked naan, authentic local Malaysian favourites, and a high-quality selection of Japanese sushi and sashimi. The emphasis across all stations is on freshness and superior ingredients, with dishes presented in smaller portions and replenished frequently to maintain optimal quality and temperature. The experience culminates in the dedicated dessert room, which is nothing short of a sweet paradise. This section features a stunning array of beautifully crafted Western pastries, cakes, mousses, and traditional local kueh. The presentation is artistic and meticulous, with each confection seeming more tempting than the last. Whether one prefers the decadence of a rich chocolate dessert, the lightness of a fresh fruit tart, or the simple delight of house-made ice cream, the dessert spread offers a perfect, high-note finish to the meal. Ultimately, the Mosaic buffet dinner is a showcase of exceptional culinary standards and top-tier hospitality, making the premium price point well worth the value for an unforgettable gastronomic experience in the heart of KL.

A truly exceptional hotel. We stayed here 3 years ago and had such a wonderful and memorable time that we absolutely had to return during our 2 night stay in KL. Starting from the wonderful staff at the check-in counter and concierge, who were so warm and helpful. We received a welcome amenity gift upon check-in. The rooms are beautiful, thoughtfully designed and incredibly comfortable. The room service is faultless and the housekeeping team are fantastic with immaculate turn down service. The breakfast is one of my favourite parts of our stay as the selection is so extensive and deliciously prepared. A special mention to the lovely concierge staff Shahrul who assisted me with making a phone call. He was the shining example of warmth and professionalism and is a real asset to the team. Roziati was also so lovely upon our check-out process and was helpful in giving us plenty of recommendations for the local area. What wonderful staff that truly continue to uphold this establishment’s amazing reputation.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was comfy and had an amazing view of KLCC. Service was super attentive, and everyone was friendly and quick to help. Location is perfect since it's literally next to Suria KLCC. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the room feels a bit older, but overall still a great experience.
