We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, everything was very satisfying from start to finish. The customer service was truly outstanding. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming; every time they saw us, they greeted us warmly, which made us feel very comfortable and valued. The reception team was very flexible and understanding in every situation. They kindly offered us both early check-in and late check-out, which made our trip much more convenient and stress-free. The swimming pool area and the view were absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast was also number one, incredibly delicious with great variety. A special thank you to Hafiz, Mohammad, and Noyen, who took care of us during our stay. They were all very respectful, professional, and flexible, and truly made our experience even better. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We had a wonderful stay at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur. Check-in with Mohanna was smooth and welcoming, everything was explained clearly, and we felt at home right away. Our room was spotless and had a beautiful view of the Petronas Towers, which we really enjoyed. The location of the hotel is great. The Club Lounge was a real highlight for us. From breakfast to afternoon tea and evening food, everything was consistently good, and we loved spending time there. A special thank you to Maddy and the whole Club Lounge team for their warm and attentive service. Check-out with Mohanna was just as easy as check-in. I can highly recommend the hotel.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for three nights in February to celebrate my husbands retirement and 65th birthday. Our entire stay was magical. If we could take the bed and linens home with us I would. Honestly, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The breakfast was great but was very busy due to Chinese New Year, I’m sure the hotel was booked but service was still great. The staff at this hotel is first rate, they cater to your every whim. The Mandarin Oriental KL has spoiled us for staying anywhere else when we return.

Subject: Serious Complaint – In-Room Dining Experience (Biryani Orders) Dear In Room Dining / Guest Relations Team We stayed at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur as a family and, after a full day of travel, ordered dinner through in-room dining expecting a basic standard consistent with your hotel’s reputation. Despite giving clear instructions, we ordered one Veg Biryani and one Chicken Biryani. Your team informed us that the biryani would be served with raita, bread, gravy, and basmati rice. What was delivered was completely unacceptable. • The Chicken Biryani had no taste at all—just plain chicken pieces with rice, no proper gravy, no balance of spices, and no resemblance to biryani. • The Veg Biryani consisted almost entirely of potatoes, with no variety, no flavor, and no effort. • I requested additional gravy from the waiter, who promised to return in 5 minutes and never came back. • After calling room dining again, we were told the item would be prepared, but by then the experience was already ruined. I have traveled extensively around the world, and this is by far the worst biryani experience I have had, especially in a hotel of this standing. It was a complete waste of money and offered zero satisfaction. I strongly recommend that the kitchen team responsible for this order seriously review how biryani is prepared and served, or at the very least understand what was promised versus what was delivered. What we received did not meet even a basic acceptable standard, let alone that of a luxury hotel. I expect this feedback to be taken seriously. Regards, Sivaram J. What can I say, this hotel is truly first class in every way. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless, warm, and unmistakably upscale. Our room was spotless, with impeccable white-glove cleanliness and flawless housekeeping. There was always plenty of drinking water provided, along with both coffee and tea service in the room, which we really appreciated. We paid a great rate and were assigned a twin room, which was perfectly comfortable and absolutely fine for our stay. The linens were top-of-the-line, crisp, sparkling white, and pressed to perfection. Fresh towels every day and a beautifully refreshed room after each housekeeping service made returning to our room a genuine pleasure. The rooftop pool area on the 3rd floor was lovely, offering a peaceful escape with attentive food and drink service. You could enjoy lunch or dinner right at your lounger, or dine in the designated seating area, all while taking in views of the city alongside the greenery of the nearby park, a wonderful balance of urban and serene. The location is ideal, set in one of Kuala Lumpur’s trendiest areas and within easy reach of everything. The doormen greeted us warmly each day with genuine smiles, always asking how our day had been. Those small touches truly set this hotel apart. Warm, elegant, and undeniably luxurious, the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur delivers exactly what you’d expect from a world-class hotel. We would absolutely stay here again.
