When I decided to visit Bangkok, I chose the Mandarin Oriental without a second thought, drawn by its rich history and consistently excellent service. Once I got hooked to the Mandarin Oriental, I always choose it whenever I travel to another country. To celebrate its 150th anniversary, the hotel was adorned with beautifully curated details and displays highlighting its history. The service was flawless as always, and I had a wonderful time during my stay. The little gestures and gifts I received throughout my stay made me happy. I tried a different restaurant every day I was there(Terrace rim Naam, the Verandah, Sala Rim Naam) and each one was incredibly delicious. Enjoying Thai cuisine while watching the traditional performance at Sala Rim Naam was a wonderful experience. I’ll be happy to choose the Mandarin Oriental again on my next visit to Bangkok.

I'm lucky enough to of been a regular for quite a few years. I had not been back here for two years, and coming back was like coming home to my world of being dipped into a glass of Champagne. The great thing about the MO here is that they keep updating, and making changes to benefit the guests. I experienced the all new Gym facility, and I was blown away. The new gym facilities, and decoration are incredible. All new state of the art equipment, shower area, sauna, steam room, ice plunge pool, and so much more. So much detail and effort has gone into making this area a first class experience. Andreas and the team in the gym are always so friendly, attentive, and helpful. I also loved my Spa experience again, feeling on top of the world when I left my treatment, from arrival to departure you are treated with the warmest service. All of the staff at the MO Bangkok deliver service from the heart, there are too many names to mention as every interaction is a positive, friendly, caring, and kind experience. The pool area is run by the amazing team who are incredible. I got to meet all three Ambassadors who are long standing employees who have retired, but still have a place at the heart of the hotel, and will be there to look after you as they always have. This is the number 1 hotel in the world, faultless, with such attention to the smallest detail , they remain my favourite hotel always, and forever. With my deepest thanks to all the wonderful staff that work so hard to ensure us (the guests) have the most wonderful experience. Thank you, Simon 🙏

My stay at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm and attentive — everyone made me feel truly welcomed. The rooms are elegant, spacious, and beautifully designed with a mix of classic luxury and modern comfort. The bed was very comfortable, the linens were high quality, and the room had great amenities like a large bathtub, a separate shower, and a view over the river. It felt peaceful and relaxing every time I came back in the evening. The hotel itself is stunning — well-kept gardens, a beautiful riverside location, and lovely common areas to walk around. The pool area is relaxing with lots of space to lounge, and there are excellent dining options right in the hotel. From the service to the details in every part of the hotel, I had a fantastic experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok.

I have always been a fan of the Mandarin Oriental. Although I have never stayed overnight, I frequently visit your dining venues and the spa. Services and staff are always superb. However, based on a recent experience, I could easily give a 1-star rating. Yesterday (May 25) around 5:00 PM. My friends and I went to the bakery stall after work to buy some pastries and macarons for takeaway. I understand it was a busy time, but the young female staff, her service was shockingly arrogant. Phrases like 'please wait a moment' can be said in many polite tones, but she deliberately chose the rudest one possible. She clearly does not belong in a luxury establishment. Don’t let one employee ruin the world-class reputation you have built over generations.

I had a wonderful experience at The Verandah, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. The atmosphere by the Chao Phraya River was beautiful, but what truly made my visit memorable was the exceptional service from the team. Every staff member was warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Their attention to detail and sincere hospitality made me feel valued throughout my visit. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience.
