The prices are what stopped this being a five star review. €95 for a GLASS of champagne €44 for a burger €280 for a 50 min sports massage plus service. A 33cl beer from the minibar €27.
Also the resort is north facing which means that a lot of the room’s terraces are shaded.
Many restaurants and a majority of the shops had closed because it was end of season.
In the most part the service was incredible and the rooms are beautiful. The gym is huge which is great for a hotel gym. The beach was over crowded.

It’s a beautiful hotel, with a great beach.
Positives include;
- the rooms are lovely,
- the staff are helpful, friendly and welcoming,
- the beach is well maintained and staffed with treats during the day
- has a decent gym and spa facilities
Negatives include
- the light switches in the rooms work haphazardly- could take 20 mins at night to switch the lights off and close the curtains.
- there was a night when there was an event happening somewhere in the hotel with loud music that could drown out conversation in the room with the doors closed and went on till close to 11 - had to get reception to send up ear plugs
- the food and beverage options are limited (we visited in October and only 3 restaurants were open)
- the food and beverage options are very, very, very, very expensive for what you get. Was expecting to pay a premium given the resort brand, but these were Michelin 2 star level prices for casual pub dining quality food. This totally lets the resort down and means we won’t return.

I recently had an amazing stay at the Mandarin Oriental. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality. Special thanks to Beru for organizing a fantastic surprise that made our arrival even more special. The entire stay was marked by impeccable service and luxurious amenities.
One highlight was dining at Luca by the Sea, where the food was absolutely incredible. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening by the ocean. However, we were asked to leave the table earlier than expected, which was a bit disappointing. Despite this, the overall experience was unforgettable.
I highly recommend the Mandarin Oriental for anyone looking for a top-notch luxury stay.

I had a fantastic stay at the Mandarin Oriental! and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, The hotel is luxurious and the service is excellent.
A special thanks for our wonderful ambassador, Sevda! Her warmth, professionalism, and insider tips truly enhanced our stay. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel genuinely welcomed.
If I had to mention one downside, it would be that while the hotel restaurants provided a magical view, the food wasn’t that great.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a special getaway. Thank you, Mandarin Oriental, and especially Sevda, for making our stay so memorable!

We loved our stay! There are few negative and positive points that I want to mention:
(-)
1. F&B: imo you guys went a bit overboard with the pricing, at least with the beach restaurant. The fact that ordering a pizza or some snacks to the beach costs the same as going to your fine dining restaurants is a bit bizarre. A mocktail for 30€, while in a flagship MO bar in HK you get cocktails for 20€. It seemed like most of the time the staff were just standing by waiting for orders but almost nobody was ordering anything. I think if the prices were a bit more reasonable people would order much more often (or at least we would have!)
2. Noises at night: during the day we enjoyed a calm and relaxing atmosphere, but at night it was a bit more problematic, because there was always some noise waking us up. For some reason our AC would make a noice every 5 minutes if we turn it on and after we turn it off, so we were sleeping with a balcony opened. But then we had cats coming to our balcony and meowing, or actually coming inside our room and jumping around. I think maybe installing a mosquito net door to the balcony would be a nice solution for that. We also heard a loud party music pretty much every night, but I don’t think it was coming from the hotel facilities, probably either from other guests or from private villas nearby.
3. Bathroom at the beach: there seemed to be only 1 bathroom for the whole beach and it was a bit inconvenient. Very often we had to wait in the line, and sometimes there wasn’t even a toilet paper so we had to search for one.
4. Unfortunately because it was the end of the season many restaurants, stores and the Lucca beach were not available and it was a bit sad. We knew about while booking the stay and thought they were closed because the hotel occupancy was low, so it was understandable. But when we arrived we actually saw that the hotel was almost fully occupied so it was a bit unclear why half of the facilities weren’t working.
5. We stayed for 6 nights and had a pleasant and relaxing stay, but I’m not gonna lie we got really bored halfway around our stay. I understand it might not really be a concept of a hotel to have entertainment like at other hotels in Turkey, but since there is nothing around the hotel you can do, your only option of entertainment was to eat. Would be nice to maybe have some live music performed at the bar every now and then, or maybe an afternoon tea. We would actually even be fine with walking around after dinner but even that is kind of impossible because it would be more like a hike.
6. Another point to that the hotel is probably not for long stays - breakfast. Breakfast buffet was nice, but we noticed that it was pretty much the same every day.

1. The staff is very friendly, helpful and kind. It’s the small details but literally every single staff member we passed by greeted us with a smile. And the buggy drivers would often asked us about how day is going and wish us a pleasant stay. I would also like to personally thank Zhamal, our assistant! Always very helpful, kind and caring.
2. SPA is amazing. We didn’t take an actual spa treatment but enjoyed the pool and the saunas, and it was the most favorite part of our stay.
3. We loved the sustainable approach to the amenities. Literally not a single peace of plastic seen while we were there. Great job! I genuinely wish more hotels would move with that direction as soon as possible.
In general, we loved our stay and most likely will return, but for a shorter period of time
