We have just spent 2 weeks at Outrigger. The hotel was lovely with the most beautiful and clean pool areas. We enjoyed our breakfast everyday with lots of choice. A special mention to Boat on the egg station. I loved the fresh omelettes and the hollandaise eggs. Not forgetting all the staff at the hotel they were so attentive and even remembered our names. They made our holiday special. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel with a fantastic pool / beach bar that is across the road from the main hotel. The hotel itself is in a good location - 10 mins walk from the night market which is open every day from 2pm till 12am. Huge call out to the general manager Leanne who helped us upgrade our room. We started our stay here in the superior double - okay room but small and not a lot of space for our 1 year old to crawl around so we upgraded to a suite and if can I would recommend it. The beach pool bar is great, several pools and free kayak and paddle board. As for staff, they really go above and beyond! The kitchen staff Sert and Parn - unbelievable, helped make food that my 1 year could have. Really went out their way here!! The play area staff also were so engaging, Pin spent so much time with my little one helping him take his first steps! Overall would recommend this hotel!

I can’t praise this place enough - from the care and dedication of the staff (front desk, housekeeping, food service, management, etc) to the affordable price on a quieter area on the island, to the quality of the food and the room/property, we will absolutely be returning in the future. The property feels like a proper resort with its own section on the beach with free towels and chairs for guests. No hot tub option, but there was a set of pools by the rooms, and another set by the beach. All freshwater pools that were crystal clear and very clean. Loved the outdoor shower options if you took a dip in the ocean and needed a rinse coming back. So much praise for the food. We had breakfast included every day with a lunch OR dinner option and the food was always fantastic. Highly recommend eating as much fruit as possible via the breakfast buffet. Thank you so much to all the staff for making our first experience on Ko Samui truly special. We can’t wait to be back.

This is a very beautiful hotel, and I loved the colonial style in which it has been decorated. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the reception area was being redecorated, so it looked a bit like a building site. The staff, however, were lovely and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. I had read comments in other reviews about the layout of the hotel, as the rooms are located on one side of a busy road while the swimming pool, beach, and main restaurant are on the other. Nevertheless, there are two guards stationed on either side who are exceptionally attentive and ensure guests cross safely — a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was excellent, especially the array of salads and fresh fruit. We had a full board package but only dined in the evening once at the Edgewater restaurant, as my husband didn’t enjoy the food. I do question the propriety of having fire shows as entertainment — it’s difficult to enjoy watching young men take such serious safety risks simply to entertain tourists. Sadly, we wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. It advertises rooms with a “French-style balcony,” but in reality, this is little more than a narrow perch. Additionally, our suite lacked some of the usual amenities one would expect from a five-star property, such as toothbrushes, hair conditioner, and adequate surfaces for placing personal items, particularly in the bathroom. Overall, the hotel is very photogenic and staffed by genuinely pleasant people, but it feels somewhat overpriced for what it actually offers.

Amazing hotel and staff with pool and great facilities. We had lounge access and were spoilt rotten every day. Huge rooms, super comfy beds and pillows and excellent air-conditioning for warm nights. A great place to explore Samui or just flop and drop.
