Where do we begin, this hotel has been amazing! The staff are unbelievable, so lovely and were great with our little boy! The staff will go above and beyond and are so kind hearted. Location is amazing very family friendly and only a taxi away from the centre. Swimming pool is lovely and has two shallow pools for children. Food in the hotel is very nice and the drinks are good too! There is not one bad thing to say about this hotel. Kids club is great and the staff are very kind! Tum was great with our little one and always very chatty! Tum made a point of coming over everyday to chat, recommend places to go. The whole team at the hotel are unbelievable. We would like to especially thank Tum, Au and Love. We will really miss the hotel and the staff. Thank you for making our holiday so special and an unforgettable one!

We had a wonderful stay at Outrigger Khao Lak this week, perfectly situated on the beautiful Bang Sak Beach. The resort layout is excellent, spacious, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, with direct beachfront access that truly showcases Khao Lak’s charm. Our room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and extremely comfortable, with great attention to detail from housekeeping. We had a family adjoining room which was superb for the kids. There are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby (having said that we did have a car), though the hotel’s own breakfast deserves a special mention — a broad and high-quality selection with new daily varieties alongside the staples, all delivered with warm Thai hospitality. What really sets this property apart, however, is the staff. From check-in to checkout, every team member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Bom at reception for his professionalism, diligence, and consistently warm welcome and farewell — he even remembered our names throughout our stay! We also want to recognise K. Na, our room maid, whose thoroughness and attention to detail often go unnoticed but made a real difference to our experience. All in all, this is a fantastic beachfront resort with exceptional staff, good price point, great facilities, and the true spirit of Thai hospitality. Highly recommended.

The hotel is fantastic. Great location only 10 mins taxi drive to Khao Lak town centre. The service is great, friendly staff and always willing to help. Lyn was always greeting everyone and making sure everyone was happy. The reception staff are lovely and the cleaning staff did an amazing job. My only real issue was the smell in the room. 108 was a great room with bunk beds for two kids but the room smelt a little of damp or unclean air conditioning filter. The pool and beach are great and the kids spent a lot of time splashing about. They also loved the kids club.

It was an amazing experience and an incredible stay! A large room with a balcony — very clean and very comfortable. We also received some lovely little surprises for our honeymoon, which made our stay even more special. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception, very friendly people in the restaurants and at the bar, and a great team at the pool who organized fun activities, played games, and handed out towels. Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options, a pleasant breakfast restaurant, beautifully maintained green and clean grounds, a nice sandy beach, and small shops right across the street where you can buy everything you need. Very convenient shuttle service to the city center and the market, and back. Many thanks to all members of the Outrigger team for this unforgettable vacation and wonderful experience - special thanks to Non, Baw, Shein, Love, and Tum. Overall, a perfect 10 out of 10! We will definitely come back (comeback, comeback) again.

We were so excited to stay here. Having stayed at the Outrigger in Ko Samui and in Mauritius, both of these hotels said how great the Khao Lak hotel is. It is a nice hotel but its no better than the other outriggers! First off it is very well kept. The staff are amazing and really friendly. The whole hotel is beautifully kept. Breakfast is great. I think the breakfasts at the two other Outrigger hotels were however better. But the food was good and the staff were as ever just amazing. The pool area and beach are wonderful, and the trees provide natural shade making it lovely. Sadly for us the hotel insists on having a volleyball court on the beach and no matter where you sit on the beach there is a risk of the ball bouncing off you! Something that happened in multiple occasions and in multiple.locations while we stayed there. This made the beach far from restful so we had to go and find a different beach and pay for sun beds. We did report this to the hotel.and in fairness they responded by moving the court, but it still kept happening. It's a good hotel but it's not the best outrigger. For all of the above I think its a strong 4 star review but I don't think we will go back, sadly it wasn't quite as magical as we had hoped. The managers need to decide, is it a sports hotel or a hotel for rest? There seems to be better hotels than offer more for less around this hotel.
