Our stay at the Marriott in Malta was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. We were spending over €2,000 per night on food and drinks, and the hotel staff made sure every euro felt worth it. We were regularly surprised with complimentary dishes and beautifully presented treats sent up to our room — a generous and much-appreciated gesture. The team went out of their way to make our stay memorable. One of the highlights was the chef himself coming out to greet us and even preparing custom dishes based on what we liked. It felt personal, luxurious, and incredibly well-executed. This is exactly what top-tier hospitality should look like — seamless, warm, and detail-oriented. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this property to anyone who values high-level service and a premium experience.

Had a wonderful week here, the most amazing service, fantastic facilities and great location. We had access to the M Club which we loved. Outside kids pool was brilliant, as was having access to the indoor spa pool in the morning. Our room was spotless and had gorgeous views over the bay. All the staff were incredibly accommodating and always happy to help. The only (very small) area that could be improved is vegan food options, particularly in the M club and at breakfast, but other than that no areas for improvement! Thanks so much for making our holiday so great!

My stay at the Marriott Spa & Resort Malta exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely exceptional. They don’t just provide service — they anticipate your needs and fulfill even the smallest wishes with a smile. The hotel itself is packed with amenities and perfectly caters to a wide range of travelers. Whether you’re a family with kids, traveling solo, or enjoying a girls’ getaway, this place has something special for everyone. The facilities are luxurious yet welcoming, and everything is maintained to the highest standard. Now let’s talk about the food — wow! Every meal, from breakfast to lunch and dinner, was a delight. The culinary experience is top-notch, and the desserts? Pure poetry. Each bite feels like it’s crafted with passion and expertise. Dining here is truly a highlight of the entire stay. This is definitely a place I’ll be returning to regularly. Highly recommended to anyone looking for comfort, indulgence, and world-class hospitality in the heart of Malta.

Wasn’t impressed with this hotel. The bathroom door does not shut and has a huge gap. The bathroom is cramped. There is hardly are pool for kids to use. The first outdoor pool is across the street and open for anyone in the public to use. It is always packed and not to mention the water is murky. The bar man tried to charge me almost 9 euros each for what he called an iced coffee (coffee flavoured slush which was not on the menu therefore made up the price). When i complained the manager told him to just make us an iced coffee like i asked so he did. Strange he didn’t do it first time round. The second outdoor pool is for 16+. Kids are only allowed in the indoor pool at certain times, scattered throughout the day, times you want to keep kids out of the sun are the times kids are not allowed in the indoor pool. The hotel rules say 16+ can use the indoor pool at anytime, whereas kids have a certain time limit. My 16 year old was asked to leave the pool and when we explained that she is 16, the spa lady got very frustrated and said that only 17+ are allowed. We were told by her that she could be an annoyance and disturb to others. Firstly, we were making no noise whatsoever, just floating around in the pool. The loudest people in the pool (and only other people) were fully grown adults in the hot tub. They were causing the disturbance, not us. Secondly, what’s the huge difference between a 16 and 17 year old anyway? Got kicked out of the indoor pool even though i showed her the rules that say 16+, therefore 16 years and over. Not impressed Hotel Marriott.

Liked: The staff was just amazing - super polite & attentive! The breakfast was excellent too! And the room - spacious & comfy. The parking is also incredibly comfortable for Malta. The indoor pool was also quite good. Overall, it was quite a joyful experience. Disliked: The temperature in the indoor pool & jacuzzi could be just a little higher to be perfectly comfortable for the kids. The outdoor one is not meant to be used for the kids, I guess, during winter time - it was too cold. Overall, it felt that the hotel is more business-oriented, rather than a family-oriented one (no playgrounds or playrooms, pools open for kids during evening hours only, not too many families with kids, etc.). Nevertheless, still a wonderful experience.
