Overall, we were very impressed with the quality of the food at the resort. The Italian and French restaurants were especially outstanding — absolutely delicious. At the Italian restaurant, Jonathan provided excellent service. He was friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The seaside buffet also had a pistachio ice cream that was honestly the best ice cream I’ve ever had! Although dinner was not served buffet-style, the lobster and other dishes were excellent. However, the service during dinner was quite slow, which was a bit disappointing. We also love spending time at the pool, and we always join the 12 PM Aqua Zumba — it’s so much fun! Charlie is the best and brings such amazing energy. The night shows were also very entertaining and enjoyable. They added so much fun to our evenings at the resort!

My stay at Majestic Mirage Costa Mujueres has been absolutely wonderful! The resort is beautiful, very clean, and beautifully maintained throughout. From the moment we arrived, everyone has been so friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. One of the highlights of our trip was dining at the Italian restaurant. The service provided by Jonathan was amazing attentive, welcoming, and professional. The food was outstanding, especially the pizza and the homemade tiramisu, which were both absolutely delicious! I also love that you don’t have to book reservations for tmajority of the à la carte restaurants. It makes the experience so much more relaxing and convenient. The pools are fantastic, the drink service is excellent, and the beach is truly top notch clean, beautiful, and perfect for unwinding. We are having such a wonderful time, and I would definitely return to this resort without hesitation. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Majestic Mirage in Costa Mujeres from January 4–11 during the resort’s soft opening and were very happy with our experience. Knowing it would be a quieter time, we actually enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere even more. Our room was fantastic: a two-level suite with a private upper deck, plunge pool, and a lounger that was perfect for a few fabulous naps (purely for research purposes). We were understanding of the finishing work still underway and felt it was handled very well. The staff truly made our stay special. Our butler, Laura, quickly took care of a couple of small issues and even decorated our room to make us feel extra special. The bartenders, especially Jesus and Christian at Bar Taka, were excellent, as were the team at Legends Sports Bar. From restaurant staff and room attendants to the construction workers, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always ready with a smile and a “hola.” We felt genuinely well cared for. We had several great meals, with the teppanyaki dinner being a highlight. Chef Gerry was amazing, and we felt lucky to have the experience to ourselves. Christian and Alejandro took wonderful care of us that evening. The nightly shows were fun, the beverages were great (especially at Bar Taka), the ice cream was hard to resist, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. As our first trip to Mexico, this was a very positive and memorable experience. I could say more, but I’ll simply say this: we will definitely be back!

First this is the place to go if you have food allergies! A huge thanks to Brian the food concierge who took an awesome care of my daughter that has severe dairy allergies.Every restaurant we went, he found us to make sure everything was safe. She had everything she wanted to eat and he made her stay stress free. Secondly our butler Val! What can I say A1 service from our first to last day! She even check on us on her day off! She was amazing and again made us feel at home! Then Angel our waiter at the beach and at the pool! Friendly and real efficient. We never had an empty glass! And then Jordy our server at the Italien place! Great service and great person! At the Mexican fiesta, Brian was our server and I want to thank him for his great sense of humor and service.We had a blast with him also. I could go on and on but at the end, I truly recommend this resort! Food A1 Service A1 Employees A1 Room A1 It’s a must!

We stayed at the Majestic Mirage for four nights at the end of February for a short birthday getaway. We knew the resort had just recently opened in December and they most likely would have some kinks to work out, however, what we encounter was totally unacceptable. The resort probably should not have opened until May, there is so much unfinished work and construction damage everywhere. The tile floors all over the resort are missing the grout and there are concrete and paint stain everywhere you look. The elevator closest to our room was closed for 3 days as they were working on the tile surround. We had a Sky suite with our own private pool, the room layout was terrific, however, again the room finishes were unacceptable, paint splatter all over the stairs and floors, chipped tiles in the pool and incomplete painting. Housekeeping and mini bar service is very inconsistent, most days I had to request water, coffee, cups and bath mats because they had not been refreshed them during their daily room cleaning. When we reguested the items from our butler we only received half of what we asked for as he was not to attentive either. One morning we had a private excursion so our butler took our room service order for breakfast the next day, unfortunately room service was never was delivered, thankfully our private Tour operator was able to stop and get us some breakfast. Our butler said he would look into what happened with the room service but he never followed up. Also, the butler's did not give us a very thorough tour of the resort when we first checked in, they dumped us off at the buffet and told us it was closer to the lobby if the room became ready. We ended up discovering the Club Lounge on our own after the 3rd day of the trip. The beach area was nice with several options for seating, cabanas, palapas, or sun loungers. The water was refreshing and clean with very little seaweed and no sargassum. We were disappointed that there are no fresh towels at the beach, you have to walk all the way to the main pool to get towels. Also, there are no toilet facilities or beach showers to rinse off the salt water, again you have to walk back to the main pool area. For the most part the food was pretty good, we primarily ate ala cart breakfast at the Italian restaurant as the buffets tended to be backed up, they had poor layout and circulation with lines at the made to oder stations. All of our dinners were very good, better then I had expected, however, the staff has trouble with the menu and ordering seems a bit awkward as they are unfamiliar with the system. Maybe it will get better with time or possibly some additional training. All-in-all the resort probably should have waited a few more moths to open in order to properly train the staff, butler's, housekeepers, mini bar service, and waitstaff. Also they would have have more time to finish construction without so much damage from poor quality and rushing to open which is very inconvenient for paying guests. Overall, I would not return to the Mirage or a Majestic property and I would not be able to recommend this resort especially with so many other options that provide way better quality for the value like the Excellence Resorts or the Melia Paradisus Resort. In closing I would like to give one shout out to the best staff member of the week, Levi the bartender who made really good drinks and had such a charismatic personality,"Que Paso Queseandos"
