We just returned from 5 nights at The Majestic Elegance staying in the Adults Only Elegance Club. We came here for our honeymoon and we are so happy we did!! The beach- beautiful, clean, no seaweed and seems to go on forever you can walk, relax, swim and enjoy. The beach bar service in the adults only section was fabulous! The rooms- clean and spacious, every day Graciela our housekeeper made sure our room was so clean and well stocked!! The food- honestly very good!! Especially The Bistro, the live piano player added such a nice touch and Gabriel our server made the service 10/10!!! Our Butler Mariana made our honeymoon so incredibly special, from the lavender aromatherapy in our room, always stocking anything we needed, planning a romantic beach dinner for us, a romantic Jacuzzi and organizing even our late check out. Mariana was always just a text away and we are so appreciative of her help and kindness :) Now JUAN!!!!! In the cigar bar. You are incredible!! Somehow Juan was everywhere in the resort at all hours, there to help anyone who needed. He made our visit so special and we looked forward to seeing his smiling face everyday :) Jonathan at the Tiki bar made amazing drinks we kept coming back!! The resort had a bit of everything for everyone, some places had the party scene while other areas romantic and relaxing. I would definitely recommend!!

First and foremost, food concierge Brian made our stay incredible. Despite my multiple severe food allergies and my mom's severe gluten intolerance, he made us feel so comfortable and reassured. He came to us before each meal every day to tell us what we could eat, would take our order, and make sure the kitchen knew about our restrictions. He was knowledgeable about allergen cross-contact and seemed to genuinely care about ensuring we could eat safely. Thank you again Brian, 5/5 stars for you!! The resort itself was beautiful with a luxury feel. The beach was clean with plenty of chairs/cabanas to sit in. Overall, it was very relaxing, which is exactly what we were looking for. The nighttime entertainment was mostly subpar, other than the fire show/white party. It did not feel professional, and we have experienced much higher quality performances at less expensive resorts. The daytime foam party was a blast though, I wish it happened more than once a week! In terms of the Elegance Club upgrade, it was great to have a non-buffet option for breakfast and access to the adult-only pools. However, the butler service was not worth it - we were escorted to our room and provided a brief tour on the day we arrived, but our butler did nothing else for us the entire trip other than sending us the daily entertainment schedule, which we had access to regardless. All in all, we would return if we were looking for a relaxing vacation where we both feel safe and taken care of with regards to our food allergies & intolerances. We would however hope for some improvement in entertainment and to the butler service in the future.

Had our first meal for day one at Majestic Elegance in the beautiful Playa Mujeres, QR! We visited El Mariachi Loco the Mexican style restaurant and received excellent service from our server Feliz and the restaurant manager Juan! Ingredients were fresh, locally sourced; portions were plenty and the variety of choices were comprehensive and well representative of the Mexican culture! Our server was attentive, responsive and catered to our every need. Highly recommend! Thank you for a memorable evening!

We had a wonderful stay at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. The resort strikes a great balance between elegance and relaxation—beautifully maintained grounds, spacious rooms, and a calm, upscale atmosphere that makes it easy to truly unwind. The beachfront is stunning, and the overall experience felt thoughtful and well managed from start to finish. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service in the restaurants. In particular, Felix made our experience memorable. His service was consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. He anticipated our needs, checked in at just the right moments, and always did so with a positive attitude and a welcoming smile. It’s clear he takes pride in his work, and it made a real difference in how much we enjoyed our time at the resort. If you’re looking for a high-quality, relaxing getaway with outstanding service, Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres truly delivers—and Felix is a perfect example of the excellent hospitality you can expect there.

I chose this resort mainly because I had heard they accommodate celiac disease and food allergies very well, and that was absolutely true. At each restaurant, a chef personally explained which foods contained gluten and which did not, and they were also happy to prepare gluten-free versions upon request. The food was good for a resort overall. I especially enjoyed the Steakhouse and Mexican restaurant more than the others. One downside was how strict the restaurants' dress code are. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, very professional, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I felt very safe and relaxed at the resort. The location isn’t ideal if you plan to do day tours. All excursions must be booked through Go Majestic, as no other tour companies pick up from this resort. That said, their prices were competitive. I had a medical issue late at night, and I was very impressed that there is a doctor available on the resort 24/7. The visit and medication cost $300 USD, but it was worth it. The doctor was knowledgeable and professional. I also had to cancel a tour I booked through Go Majestic due to the medical issue, and they fully refunded me, which I truly appreciated.
