Pros: A perfect place for a peaceful getaway — ideal for newlyweds or adults without children (kids might find it a bit boring). The Pool Access Room is spacious and comfortable, with direct access to the pool. It was clean and cosy. The swimming pool is huge. In fact, there are two pools on two levels. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to Chaweng and Nathon twice a day, which is convenient for lunch, massages, or a leisurely walk. Cons: Housekeeping could be improved — toiletries were not always replenished. The pool occasionally appeared not very clean, and water maintenance could be better. Breakfast was repetitive and lacked flavour. There was an unpleasant sewage smell in the bathroom in the mornings. The hotel is quite far from town: during low tide, you can walk along the shore to reach cafés and shops, but at high tide, you’ll need a taxi or the hotel shuttle. During our stay, the hotel didn’t fully feel like a true 5-star property. This might have been due to the low season (24.09–04.10), as the staff seemed to be preparing for the upcoming high season.
Kalumi Depenha
This hotel is deceivingly large. Spans across both sides of the road that lead to the hotel. One side has a small lagoon pool. And the other has a very big pool. The pool in the mainside of the hotel starts right near the lobby and runs all the way to the beach. I was sick at the time and the team changed our room to a complementary pool access as I couldn't climb stairs. I strongly recommend this hotel. Beautiful, serene and wonderful team.

The rooms are nice. The view is nice. It has its own beach, but the sea isn't very nice. The pools are nice. The gym is adequate. There's almost no cheese at breakfast, which isn't bad, but could definitely be improved. The location is a bit unusual. It's a bit far from the city center. It's a great choice for those renting a car, like me. It's also suitable for families. The staff is absolutely 10/10. The respect and service are top-notch.

This was a very nice relaxing holiday and the hotel is beautiful but the little details are missing. The place needs a lot of maintenance and it seems like the hotel is run by a group of 20 something’s. Not that that’s a bad thing they were all amazing and tried to accommodate us in every way! The rooms could have been cleaned a bit better. The food in the restaurants were amazing. The breakfast buffet was good but all the breads were stale. The gyms air con was broken. The pool had a lot of missing tiles. But I’m just picking out the bad things. It was a lovely stay and for the price it is completely worth it! I would for sure stay there again.

When we arrived it was very nice, so well kept. It's really peaceful in Mai Samui. A few cafes/Restaurants near by that are walkable to. We went to a cafe called Kovani Samui, they do frozen yoghurts, sandwiches etc so is nice to go for something different. There is a free shuttle. It goes to 2 of the towns, but the timings weren't that good. You are tied to the hotel after 4.30 pm unless you get a taxi back. It's a place for relaxing and not ideal to stay any longer than 2 nights. Friendly staff and can't do enough for you.
