Very fun down and old. Felt dirty. Definitely not a 5 star hotel and we stayed in a suite room. Maybe a 3 star hotel. Kids enjoyed the pool so that’s something. Easy to go island hopping from. Would not recommend this place at all sorry. Needs a total revamp.

Well, I have a mixed feeling about this resort. The resort is indeed beautiful and very green. The lobby is huge and there a lot of place/area to just sit and enjoy the day and view. The room is comfortable with luxury amenities. During the evening at each of the lounges, there is live music but the band is not a good one and it's lousy. Not worth staying to enjoy it. The pool is big and beautiful. The breakfast selection was just okay, and it's always crowded even if it is not during public holiday/school break. The beach activities were fun ... you can make the booking on the same day. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable holiday for us!

For the location of this hotel, its quite nice and flexible for us tourists since its just nearby the airport and quite much facilities are nearby. For the rooms, I'm quite impressed with the views because we can see airplanes landing from the window. However, the room is just so dirty and looks uncleaned. The table has a lot of dusts and fingerprints on it. It's just so dirty that I don't even dare to live in that room with bacteria. As for the toilet, there's still hair all around. However, the toiletries prepared are nice. The service is the worst part of all. When my family checked in, it was 2pm. The receptionist told us that our room has not been prepared yet. We booked three rooms. Therefore, some of us that doesn't have a room put all of our luggage to the only room ready. After that, we went to the pool. There's was a inflatable castle prepared for kids, but dirty. The pool is filled with dried leaves which made the whole thing worse. The beach is super small only. But you can enjoy a wonderful sunset there. After sunset view, it was about 6:50pm when we went to the counter to ask about our room. What made us super duper angry was the service prepared. The room prepared for us was super far from each other when we requested for linked rooms. We had to endure as the hotel is quite full too. We carried our luggage to our own room and the room card was not working. My family members have to wait outside looking after our luggage and I have to look for the receptionist again. All of us are wet and cold at that moment. When they gave us a new card, it was not working AGAIN!!! We were super mad by that time. At last, we finally get to enter our room at 8pm. It was the WORST SERVICE EVER. Another thing was the safe box prepared in that room we first checked in. We can't open it as the word "ERROR 1" kept appearing. Our car keys was inside so we immediately called for help. We literally called for three times. The first time calling was at 7:30pm. They said that they will ask the worker to come up immediately. The second and third time calling, they didn't even bother to pick up. When we got the car keys, it was already 9pm. As we drove to the restaurant we wanted to dine in, its too late already. Really upset with this hotel.

The location is fantastic. There are many activities on the grounds to keep.you busy, though most coat a little extra. They have their own pier, which made island hopping very easy. While the location and views are highly recommended, the service is very poor. There are many staff around, they just seem to be distracted or less eager to serve you, especially at the pool area. I would still recommend it, but perhaps pack your own drinks and snacks.

Lovely spacious room, though a minor issue with hot water. Slightly "tired" by way of description. There is a palatial entrance to the hotel. The food is fine, our access to the Magellan Lounge for breakfast and early evening canopes, really "high-end" with great service. Would recommend this. Location-wise, around 10RM (2024 price) for a Grab to town. A small strip of beach only, as all of the water's edge down this part of KK has erosion protection - large rocks 🪨 ... lovely big pool, with just about enough sun loungers. A great place to relax for a few days, which is exactly what we are doing ...
