We had a great experience here, all the staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially Nicholas who showed us to our room and gave us a little tour of the place. The room was lovely, spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was also great we had a feast every morning! I would say that it can be easy to get lost in here, we arrived via the underground car park and couldn’t figure out where to go to check in, maybe better signage is needed. Also location-wise, stunning views as it’s in the mountains and not far from all the viewpoints so you can drive or hike it, however it can be difficult to travel to other locations in the Algarve. We had a car rental thankfully but driving to other places would be 30 minutes - 1 hour drive, sometimes more. But saying that I still would stay here again!!

Great stay. Really good range of activities including hikes , Pilates, yoga. Lively spa although I didn’t use it as I was too busy with everything out of doors. I was travelling solo as I wanted to hike nearby but it’s obviously a big favourite for families. There are separate buildings and facilities for families such as a separate pool but there’s a family friendly vibe all through. That’s fine for me - nice to see everyone enjoying themselves and it was first week of September so not peak school holiday season. Just had to get my head around paying the same for B&B as a solo traveller as for a couple with two children but the rates were very reasonable compared to less attractive places on the coast and a great deal for couples/families. I never go back to anywhere but maybe I could break that rule and try out the spa.

Room was not ready for our child. Not very clean. No hot water so did not shower. Pizzaria was bad. Takes hours and then your pizza arrives cold or not properly baked. Heated swimming pool not clean. Outdoor pool is clean but not heated. Cannot recommend this hotel

This place has the potential to be a 5 star if the a/c would of worked, and they had better parking for there customers! The view is amazing and rooms are spacious!

The breakfast is amazing. You have also included in the price activities for adults, kids zone where you can leave your kid from 9 to 18 (closed during lunch) and enjoy your own time, indoor and outdoor pools, 24/7 gym. There is also an open bar at the pool, restaurant and pizzeria. The room was ok, the bath cap was broken and some dead bugs on the walls that were not removed when we arrived. Also the windows are not soundproof so you can hear every car passing.
