We stayed here for 5 nights and everything was excellent. The rooms are really big and clean. We only had breakfast and it was tasty. The location is amazing and the most famous beaches are 30 minutes away. We absolutely loved this place!

My husband and I stayed here for the WSBK weekend. The suite was lovely, very spacious, large living room area and big comfy bed. The robes and slippers were a lovely touch. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast, there was so much choice, with vegan and GF options. I especially liked the "cake of the day" selection. We had a few small issues with our stay but all of these were resolved efficiently and professionally. We look forward to booking again next year. We didn't get time to book any spa treatments so will try those next time. We enjoyed the mezzanine bar, enjoying our drinks with a wonderful view. The bar also has a nice menu.

Fantastic stay at monchique. The views from the hotel and room were breathtaking - panoramic suites are a must. Perfect for young families as the suites come with a kitchen and living area. Breakfast was very good, plenty of options. The only downside were the half board options for dinner which we felt were limited and underwhelming on certain days. Would definitely come back just for the views alone!

Waking up to panoramic views of the mountains and distant coastline was truly magical. Our suite had a private balcony – the ideal place to enjoy morning coffee in peace. The spa experience is world-class. The thermal circuit, complete with a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, and steam rooms, provided the perfect way to unwind. The therapists were highly skilled, and the massages left us feeling completely rejuvenated. Dining at the resort was another highlight. The restaurants focus on fresh, local ingredients, with options for both health-conscious and indulgent palates. Breakfast was a daily delight, with a generous selection of fruits, pastries, hot dishes, and local specialties. What really stood out was the staff – genuinely warm, attentive, and eager to make every moment special. Whether helping to arrange a hike in the nearby Serra de Monchique or offering local recommendations, their hospitality was exceptional. Monchique Resort & Spa isn’t just a place to stay – it’s a destination in itself. Ideal for couples, wellness seekers, or anyone wanting to disconnect from the rush of everyday life. We left refreshed, inspired, and already planning our return.

Been here many times and at different times of the year. Amazing place to stay with a unique energy/peace. It’s hard to get a Mountain View with Sea view as well. recommended!
