Check in didnt work through for the app for me, probably because i couldn't ID myself properly as i'm from the UK, it was busy when we arrive and the line was very long, there were only a few people manning the desks and they seemed to be trying to sell show tickets to people instead of getting people checked in asap. I did manage to check out using the QR code near reception. Its not a bad hotel but it is getting old, the rooms are ok, clean but had a old smell i guess, the bed was comfy and the sheets clean. The TV was not great, you couldn't plug your own apple tv in or equivalent. There is a safe in one of the bed side drawers. There is no fridge or cooler which is a problem, especially on days where the temp was pushing 36c. There are no coffee making facility either. The elevators or "inclinators" are a problem, they're really rickety and falling apart, you're basically taking your life in to hands everytime you ride them. The doors sway and you can see out in to the shaft, the buttons don't always work and once the door didn't open fully and wouldn't go anywhere else but ground floor where we had to get another one. It was a long walk from the elevator to our room too, not really a problem but after a long day its a pain. It was our first time in Vegas and we loved it but when we come again i'd likely stay further up the strip for slightly more. Still was a decent place to sleep on our first time out.

Accommodations were very nice & clean. All staff including clerks at front desk and housekeeping were courteous, friendly and helpful. I was able at 2 am on a Saturday morning (the day I was to check out) to extend my stay at the Luxor by one more day. In addition to the hotel rooms and casino, there was a steakhouse on main floor and the Atrium level there was a food court with one business open 24 hours. Also on that level were several exhibit “buildings” and a couple theaters, one of which had the Blue Man Group and the Atrium Theater where 2 shows played daily: Carrot Top and Fantasy. All of this within the Luxor!

Just stayed at the Luxor for my first time in Vegas and while the hotel itself looks cool from the lobby to the exterior - the service and the rooms were lacking. I stayed in an elite tower king room. These were supposedly the more updated rooms. While the room was pretty spacious, featuring both a tub and a shower in the bathroom, and a second counter & sink out next to the bed, along with a mini fridge - the room was HOT! The wall thermostat was set to 65, but it never got down close to that. I called to the front desk around 7pm but was hung up on multiple times until I finally called again and got ahold of someone around 2am and requested a fan for the room. After waiting about an hour, we had to go to the lobby to check on the status of the fan and we were told they’d send someone back up. Another hour passed, and we didn’t hear anything but opened the door to find the fan outside the door. While I’m thankful we got the fan, it was way too hard to get this and should not have been needed if the room cooled as it was supposed to. I had other family staying in the same hotel, and their rooms were cooler - but more outdated and no fridge. They stayed in the pyramid. So it seemed like a give and take to us. Sure you can get a more updated room, but it’s warmer. That said, compared to other prices of hotels on the strip - this one wasn’t bad and still had plenty to do within it with spacious rooms and really comfortable seating chairs in the rooms. My biggest complaint was just the temperature of the room and the lack of service with getting hung up on.

We didn't stay in a room here, we instead spent many hours in the play playground and had a ball. The staff there was pleasant and very accommodating, especially Aleana. SHE WAS THE BEST! Her energy was amazing and she encouraged you to do well and even provided a little friendly competition.

Timeless Magic — Luxor Still Shines After a Decade ✨🏨 I first laid eyes on the Luxor back in 2016, and even then, its iconic pyramid structure and glowing beam felt like something out of a dream. Fast forward to 2025, and guess what? That same charm, grandeur, and magnetic energy are still alive and well. While I didn’t stay in the rooms this time, the impeccably maintained exterior, the vibrant atmosphere, and the prime location on the Strip gave me every reason to believe the inside matches the outside in quality. Everything felt clean, organized, and full of life—just like I remembered. For my next Vegas trip, Luxor is definitely my top pick. It’s not just a hotel—it’s a nostalgic landmark that still delivers the wow factor. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a mix of history, style, and Vegas sparkle.
