The last time I was in Mauritius was about 11 years ago! This holiday was split into two halves over the ten days. The first half was spent visiting family and the attractions of Mauritius, and the second half was spent by the pool and beach! We stayed in the junior room for the first five nights, and our experience was great but once we moved into the ocean vue villa our experience felt even more amazing! Added bonus was, we had a private pool and we had a dedicated area on the beach with sun loungers that we did not need to claim early on in the morning! The butlers were great and went above and beyond our needs! Ketan and Mahen were very approachable and professional in how the looked after us during our stay. Canapes and sweet treats every evening. The cuisine was amazing even though my 6 year old chose pasta every day! Thanks to Chef Pascal and his team! The gym was well equipped and Patrick was very helpful. And the staff across the site were all really friendly and welcoming. Where I did speak the local language, the staff were pleased to hear me speaking fluently and encouraging my kids to respond in creole too! Would I go again, yes without a doubt, and recommend anyone else looking for a family friendly hotel. This holiday experience helped tick all my boxes, for what I wanted from my Mauritian holiday experience. A heart felt thank you to everyone at Lux Belle Mare!!!

We are a family of 12 people and have been to many resorts together. Lux Belle Mare was like being welcomed into a tropical paradise where your every need is taken care of, even before you’ve thought about it yourself. The All inclusive package is a must as this gives you 24/7 5* food and beverage. We can’t thank all of the staff whom made our stay special. Ravin and Jennifer were amazing!! The Duck Laundry restaurant was very yummy. All the chefs in every restaurant and are very accommodating for special culinary needs. Overall a 9/10 experience all around. We will be back for sure!

We stayed at LUX Belle Mare three weeks ago and really enjoyed our stay. The room was a good size and very clean, the room was cleaned every day around 2pm. The breakfast has a huge selection and very well organised. There are a number of other places to eat and we tried every one, we were not disappointed. The staff at the kids club were amazing and our 4yo loved every moment there with lots of activities. Overall very impressed with the resort, staff were all very friendly and approachable. We would certainly return to a LUX resort.

The place is beautiful to look at and the service is great. We had a disappointing meal on the 2nd night and as a response the front of house team (Elvis, Neelesh and Annielle) went out of their way to make amends for this by moving us rooms and comping some drinks making us feel really valued. A beautiful place; perfect for families I imagine. The more expensive suites are much better suited for a honeymoon experience if you are considering booking as a couple. A lovely resort on the quieter side of the island with very impressive service

Stunning location, food is absolutely delicious with a great variety of restaurants. I want to thank Ravan (food and beverage manager) for looking after myself, my daughter and husband during our stay. He addressed our concerns immediately and made a personal effort to make our stay wonderful. He really went out of his way and organised dinners for us and checked in with us regularly. The pool gets very busy during Easter and can cause you waiting for periods of time to get a sun lounger however Pravesh he noticed my concerns and ensured to organise a sun lounger whenever we were at the pool. These two men definitely added to our experience as some of the employees can be rude. Overall we had a lovely time!
