This lodge is truly a perfect stay while at Kruger! The staff was of the highest class of service and provided incredible hospitality and kindness during our entire stay. They continuously provided surprises for us and really made us feel like family. Our guide Sean, and tracker Stranger went above and beyond to make sure our honeymoon safari game drives were truly amazing. The lodge itself is beautiful and located perfectly along a stream that constantly attracts wildlife. On our last day, we were lucky enough to witness several large groups of elephants drinking from the stream right in front of us. This was an absolutely perfect stay in every aspect and I couldn’t recommend staying at this lodge specifically, high enough! Just fabulous!

We had the most amazing time at Lukimbi. We came for our honeymoon and every moment was so special. The lodge itself is amazing but the staff is really what made this experience more than I could’ve ever dreamed of. Our tracker, Stranger was so great at his job. We saw the big 5 and he really went out of his way to make sure we found a leopard on our last night! He was so funny and awesome at his job. Our Ranger, Sean was so fantastic! He did so much for us. He was there for every step of the way our whole trip and was so knowledgeable. I loved learning all about Kruger from him. All of the staff was great but KG really stood out to me. I asked her how her day was because it seemed really busy and she replied it was busy but easy because she loves her job. I could really see how caring she was and it was a pleasure to meet her. Food and drinks were great. Accommodations were perfect. Plan your trip here!

The rooms and service (kitchen staff, game drive guides, spotter etc.) are exceptional. The lodge is located in a part of Kruger park which seems to have scope for lesser animal sightings. The game drive jeeps seat 9 people in a vehicle making it a bit of a problem for the folks in the middle seats. They organized a bush walk to go see Rhinos and that was excellent.

Once in a life experience - Lukimbi offers the best staff, service, food, accommodations, and safari sightings in Kruger. The rangers and trackers (Julian and Stranger) and outstanding and work extremely hard to find the best sightings of not only the big 5 but an array of other animal. Lukimbi makes you feel like family and that is why I keep returning. From the moment you arrive, you feel like family and are treated to an unforgettable experience. If you are going to Kruger, this is where you want to stay!

Lukimbi is truly a 5 star lodge. Luxurious ginormous rooms complete with outdoor showers in each suite. French cuisine served in spectacular fashion. The staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful, they included us into their lodge family. Thanke welcomed us and became a good friend, Gloria was such a happy server. Shelley the manager was very personable and helpful. Our game drives came alive under Ranger, Darren, and Tracker, Michael. From lions at their Buffalo kill to rhinos, elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, wildebeest, to herds of impala in all their grace. Way to go Lukimbi! Ray and Marie visited in February 2024
