I had an incredible stay at the hotel in Lópezan, and a huge part of that was thanks to Pokémon from the animation team. He is truly the best! Always full of energy, fun, and positivity, he made every activity enjoyable and made all the guests feel welcome. Pokémon is professional, friendly, and genuinely cares about making people smile. Thanks to him, the atmosphere at the hotel was lively and unforgettable. He really made my holiday special, and I will always remember the great moments he created. Lopesan is ok for an all inclusive. Not fabulous but not horrible either. We went with a family group of 10 people. It's very large and hard to find your way around. They really need more "you are here" style maps. And more signage in general. We didn't like the bathroom setup at all. There is a frosted glass door to the water closet that was basically open to the rest of the bathroom which didn't provide any privacy. We had a couple of maintenance issues and they showed up within a few hours which we thought was pretty good. Everyone complained about the food. Usually it was edible but certainly not great. Sometimes it wasn't edible at all. The main pools were very big and never felt crowded. The water at the beach always seemed cloudy and not clear at all. Overall we will not be coming back. I'm sure we could have had a better all inclusive experience but that probably would have cost double. Restaurants we thought were good were Mareas and Inari. We did not like La Boheme or El Charro. All inclusives are what they are and if you go to one then don't expect much. Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed. The cons... - lots of plastic ie; plastic water bottles, styrofoam cups at the coffee station, styrofoam plates for to go from buffet, plastic spoons for ice cream at ice cream shop, plastic utensils with room service - no real fruit juice for drinks at the bars. Margaritas and Pina coladas come out of a slushy machine. - room service food was horrible - TV not smart only local channels in Spanish - boulevard area with coffee shop is really long walk from the rooms - boats are close to the beach and some blast music super loud (see pics) Pros... - very well maintained grounds - room had nice large balcony with seating for four people - always able to find a lounge chair at the beach and the pool although maybe not in a prime location (although this seemed less likely at the end of our trip as it it got much more crowded) - buffet has a lot of options although not great food

I had an amazing experience at this resort in the Dominican Republic. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, with great attention to detail. The food was excellent with lots of variety, and the drinks were always on point. The beach and pool areas were relaxing and perfect for unwinding. Entertainment and activities were fun without being overwhelming. I want to give a special shoutout to JC extremely friendly, professional, and always willing to help. JC truly made the experience even better and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I would definitely come back and recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great vacation in the DR.

We had an amazing stay at Lopesan. The resort is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained, with great food options and a relaxing atmosphere. Everything felt organized and high-end, and the staff truly made the experience special. A big shoutout to Wilkin, our server — he was outstanding. Super friendly, attentive, and always made sure we were taken care of with a great attitude and a smile. Service like his really makes a difference and elevates the whole stay. Highly recommend Lopesan, and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Wilkin, you’re in great hands!

This is a beautiful resort. Everything here was perfect from the check-in to the service that I received. The staff were so friendly and helpful make me feel welcomed. Specifically, the service at Carolino Bar Was exceptional, Jeison, Batista, Eddy Javier, Perla Picherdo, and Jennifer Lami and Francryn Bock all made the time in the evening a lot of fun. Great cocktails! My butler Andres was top notch.
