Absolutely Lovely Stay!! This place is truly happening! From the moment we arrived, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. While there is a bit of a language barrier—most staff speak Spanish—they go above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you need. The resort has something for everyone. There are fun games for the kids, clean and comfortable rooms, and top-notch hospitality all around. Housekeeping was impeccable. The team at the pool is amazing—they play great music, organize fun activities, and bring so much energy to the place. The food was absolutely amazing, with a great variety of options to choose from. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything was delicious and well-prepared. The bars and clubs on-site were also fantastic—perfect for unwinding in the evening or dancing the night away. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights, and I genuinely have no complaints. It’s now my all-time favorite place to stay whenever I’m in Punta Cana. You simply won’t feel bored here—it’s fun, lively, and full of good vibes from start to finish!

Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend I had an extremely disappointing stay at Lopesan Costa Bávaro. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill quickly. We had to wait over 4 hours to get our room, and the only compensation offered was a $5 bottle of wine—a joke, considering how much we paid for this resort. Once we got to the room, the air conditioning was weak, the iron didn’t work, the TV had no volume, and the coffee machine was broken. The fridge barely kept anything cool, and worst of all, there was no hot water. For a resort that claims to be high-end, these issues are completely unacceptable. The staff were incredibly rude and sarcastic, especially at the front desk. When we tried to raise concerns, we were met with eye-rolls and unhelpful attitudes. To make things worse, we were overcharged for a child in our group who obviously doesn’t consume alcohol, but there was no flexibility or understanding from management. Speaking of management—completely incompetent. There was no sense of urgency to resolve any of the problems we faced, and no real accountability for the poor service. This was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, but instead it was stressful and frustrating. I would not recommend Lopesan Costa Bávaro to anyone, and I suggest looking elsewhere if you value good service, functioning amenities, and respectful staff.

We had an amazing dinner at Gondola in Lopesan Costa Bávaro, thanks to our fantastic waiter, Ramon Valentin. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and made us feel truly cared for throughout the evening. The service was seamless—he anticipated our needs before we even asked. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Ramon’s warm personality and professionalism turned a great meal into a memorable experience. If you’re visiting the resort, don’t miss Gondola—and hope you get Ramon! He made our night extra special. Highly recommend.

Amazing Entertainment Team at Lopesan Punta Cana! Our stay at Lopesan Punta Cana was incredible, and a big reason was the amazing entertainment staff—Greg, Kerry, Francisco, and Debora. They brought so much energy and fun every day, from pool games to dance parties and shows at the club. They made absolutely every individual feel welcomed. Truly the heart of the resort, we can’t wait to come back! 5 stars all around for the entertainment team!!!!

Rating Lopesan a 3/5 from the perspective of a luxury 5-star resort expectation for a standard guest. All in all this was a good resort but you could get more value from your money comparing this to other not 5-star resorts in the same area that are exceptional. Rooms need serious repair work with almost all the ones we were assigned having some type of issue with water leakage or noise. Service for a 5-star resort is average everywhere except the restaurants/buffet where the service is great. There’s two great night shows, the rest are not worth sitting in the super hot theater without A/C or fans. Location is great since you’re the first to be picked up and dropped off for excursions with a lot of plazas around the area.
