Long Beach Resort Hurghada

Had an amazing stay at Long Beach this week. The hotel is lovely and the staff were phenomenal 🙂. Special shout out to Thomas in the main restaurant for being so lovely and helpful and making meal times feel special. He was always smiling and kind. The chefs were always helpful about food (I’m vegan) but some of the labelling was off (said a green bean salad was vegan but it has lunch meat in it, so be careful and ask if unsure cause they are helpful). The room was lovely and spacious and the house keepers were excellent! The pools were brilliantly maintained and the staff clearly took pride in their work. There were quite a few people selling day trips and stuff around the pool which was fine but after a while it did get a bit repetitive so it’s worth getting a ‘do not disturb’ flag for the umbrella. That being said the day trips we signed up for were amazing (diving in particular) but you do have to be firm on upsells and negotiate prices - you can get some very good deals. The drinks included were lovely and Hamdy on the pool bar made our experience by the pools really fun as he remembered our drinks orders, made us cocktails and bought them too us. We really liked that there was something for everyone at the resort. Cascade was a bit busy for us so we used the other restaurants and facilities and enjoyed our experience hugely. Front desk, concierge, restaurant, bar, pool, maintenance and cleaning staff were all fantastic, polite, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend ☀️

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I could ask for. The food was delicious and offered a wide variety to choose from every day. The location was also excellent, making it easy to enjoy both relaxation and nearby attractions. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Definitely a well-deserved 10/10!

Everything was great! The hotel staff were very helpful with every issue we had. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The animation team had endless energy—especially Kante, who was amazing! We enjoyed all the shows, the beach, and every event. Thank you for everything—we’ll definitely come back again!

Best hotel best animation team, entertainment in the evening is really good with plenty for everyone. The staff can’t do enough for you and go out that further more for you if you leave a small tip. Sam the man who does the safari trips did us a really good deal, the safari was amazing! Eid is a lovely fella who booked my daughter for hair braid. We had plenty of chats and give us good advice. We go on the private island tomorrow, snorkelling, boat trip, fishing. See the dolphins and turtles 🐢 Mohamed Salah and Khalaf Mohamed looked after us in the evening with plenty of drinks every evening. They just brought them to your table. The hotel is amazing! 1 week probably isn’t enough as we still haven’t seen the whole resort yet. We’re still here for 4 more days and love everything about Long Island 🏝️

⭐ 4/5 — Great resort overall, with a few things to be aware of Hurghada Long Beach Resort was a fantastic place for a sunny getaway. The resort is huge, the staff are friendly (some went above and beyond), and our room was spacious with a balcony as standard. The only downside was that the “double bed” was actually two singles on wheels, which rolled apart easily — not ideal for couples. Housekeeping was excellent — fresh towels, tidy room, and even towel animals some days. Food was good with plenty of variety, though not outstanding, and drinks were typical for an all-inclusive. The on-site diving centre was the highlight of our trip — they offered a free pool trial, spoke excellent English, and made the full-day diving and snorkelling trip a brilliant experience. They even arranged for my girlfriend to snorkel the same route as my dive so she could watch me underwater — a lovely personal touch. The main downside was the number of marketing staff around the resort. They can be very persistent and don’t take no easily, which made the first couple of days frustrating until most of them recognised us and left us alone. We also found the tattoo parlour on-site to be unhygienic (sand, dust, dirty counters, and smoking inside), so we’d recommend avoiding it. Overall, we loved our stay, would recommend the resort, and would happily come back — just be ready for the salespeople early on!
