Long Beach Resort Hurghada

We stayed 11 nights in a standard room all inclusive. The check in and out process was easy and shuttle buses drive you to your room. The resort is absolutely massive and involves lots of walking around to get between places. The main restaurants are located near the main reception, one of which is an adults only restaurant and the other being a family restaurant with a kids section. The food was decent however the selection of food was limited and often didn’t include many options for picky eaters. The restaurants were clean and lots of friendly staff to clear plates and bring you drinks. Our room was cleaned daily by the fabulous Omar (shoutout to him he was amazing), to a great standard. The rooms come with hangers, an iron and ironing board and shampoos for the shower. Bottles of water are supplied as well as the water is unsafe to drink. Any issues with the rooms are sorted asap when reported. There are a number of pools around the hotel, 2 of which being heated in the winter to around 28 degrees C. The waterpark, which features 5 slides, is heated also. Often alongside the main pools there are children and baby areas for little ones to swim as well. The beach is very large and feature football and basketball nets, a volleyball area, a gym and multiple bars. However, the sand on the beach is pebbly and uncomfortable to walk on barefooted. Events with the entertainment team are often held at the beach too. There are snack bars at the hotel which serve chips, pizza and usually fish or burger, which are on daily from about 12pm ish. These are clean and usually next to bars. The only real issue with the hotel is how often it experiences electrical outages. The water slides and snack bars plus bars were off for a large portion of the holiday due to electric issues, with food and drink being sometimes unavailable due to this. The water slides were completely turned off for 3 days at the end of the holiday for unknown reasons as well. Also, the lifeguards seem to blow their whistle frequently and for no reason, which can get annoying. Other than that I cannot complain with this hotel, it is immaculate, all the staff are helpful and kind people and is overall a fantastic holiday resort. I would strongly consider a return in the future. Thank you everyone at the hotel and have a happy new year!

Had an amazing stay at Long Beach this week. The hotel is lovely and the staff were phenomenal 🙂. Special shout out to Thomas in the main restaurant for being so lovely and helpful and making meal times feel special. He was always smiling and kind. The chefs were always helpful about food (I’m vegan) but some of the labelling was off (said a green bean salad was vegan but it has lunch meat in it, so be careful and ask if unsure cause they are helpful). The room was lovely and spacious and the house keepers were excellent! The pools were brilliantly maintained and the staff clearly took pride in their work. There were quite a few people selling day trips and stuff around the pool which was fine but after a while it did get a bit repetitive so it’s worth getting a ‘do not disturb’ flag for the umbrella. That being said the day trips we signed up for were amazing (diving in particular) but you do have to be firm on upsells and negotiate prices - you can get some very good deals. The drinks included were lovely and Hamdy on the pool bar made our experience by the pools really fun as he remembered our drinks orders, made us cocktails and bought them too us. We really liked that there was something for everyone at the resort. Cascade was a bit busy for us so we used the other restaurants and facilities and enjoyed our experience hugely. Front desk, concierge, restaurant, bar, pool, maintenance and cleaning staff were all fantastic, polite, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend ☀️

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I could ask for. The food was delicious and offered a wide variety to choose from every day. The location was also excellent, making it easy to enjoy both relaxation and nearby attractions. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Definitely a well-deserved 10/10!

Beautiful hotel and welcoming staff. Just come back from this hotel after a 7 night stay. Right on the beach and plenty of activities in hotel, lots of food places to eat along the beach and more in the hotel. Nothing is too much for the guys that work here. Housekeeping is good. Not too far from old town and many places to visit with tour guides, hotel also offers day trips. Will be returning again in the near viturr

Great resort with amazing energy and staff Long Beach Resort is a really good place to stay with lots to do throughout the day and night. The room was cleaned daily and always kept tidy. It was a little dated, I stayed in Block 66 which looked older with a few of the other blocks look similar, but the rest of the resort looks much newer. The entertainment team are full of energy, always happy, and constantly walking around asking if you want to join the activities. They’re really friendly and easy to talk to, and they work night and day to make sure everyone is having fun, which makes the whole experience even better. The bar staff are great , always quick to bring drinks over to the table, and they also like to have a quick friendly chat in between serving drinks, which makes it feel more personal. The evening entertainment was very good as well, with something different on every night, so it never got boring. The shisha man walking around was brilliant and even taught my mate some Arabic, which was a fun touch. Overall, a great atmosphere, great staff, and a really enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend!
