What a superb experience we had here. Obviously some of the reviews were scary in terms of the gulf between amazing and a disaster but my own personal experience was the hotel is superb but it needs a bit of work in the rooms. The room itself had an incredible balcony view of the sea, a super comfy bed, a dodgy wardrobe and someone had clearly tried to kick the door in. Admittedly I’m not painting a good picture but the view of the sea/beach beats everything. The hotel itself is in a great location with clean and tidy eating areas, spotless reception and a lot of space. The food was also incredible, I know it’s an all inclusive and some people may have had better experiences but we found it great. My Mrs is a vegetarian and there were plenty of options for her. Breakfasts were amazing. Lastly and more importantly the staff… they work so hard, they’d do anything for you, and even though many of them are working long shifts they are still happy and smiley. All of them greet you, they’re efficient and you can have a laugh with the bar staff. I do think it depends on your stay and luck of the draw with the rooms but personally I believe this is a very special place. Ironically for roughly the same price of a room here for a day you could spend the same on staying in a premier inn in Somerset…

We arrived at the hotel which is at a very nice location. We booked it because it looked fantastic so we were very excited. All was ok until we got to the room. Half of the glass windows did not have curtains so at night the lighting in the room was extremely bright. We contacted reception and they promptly delivered sleeping masks which were uncomfortable but we used them to somewhat get some sleep. The next day they said they will install curtains. I am attaching photos to what we saw entering the room. Some curtains taped to the window. Half had fallen because obviously it couldn’t hold. The following morning after I gave a bad review to their internal system, guest relations literally stalked me at breakfast and during our discussion told me that people from Northern Europe love the sun and it’s now a trend not to have curtains in their homes so that’s why the room isn’t fully covered to block out the light at night. After that she proposed to compensate us with a dinner and told me to wear a sleeping mask. So if you choose this hotel bring your sleeping mask and prepare to wake up at 6 from the beautiful sunrise. They also have an ant infestation problem in the outdoor spaces. On a positive note ite they have a lovely pool and nice buffet breakfast. I am attaching photos at so you can see the light in the room at night and in the morning and also the construction they provided as a solution.

I was so worried before coming here as i’d seen lots of poor reviews but wish I had ignored them! We stayed for a week, the cleaners were constantly mopping , pools were immaculate, not one complaint about food, our room was cleaned&tidied every day and towels replaced daily too. The staff around the resort and at reception were attentive and polite. The location is stunning and we would definitely return in the future!

Here on our last night! We saw the reviews just before we left and were worried! However from the time we got here and were met by Renata at reception we were pleasantly surprised and reassured. We were transported to our room ( block 5000) in a buggy and our luggage deposited in the room. We had information on the layout of the hotel, when activities were and what was and wasn't included. Our room was lovely, stunning view, adequate bathroom, comfortable bed, TV, lovely veranda with sunbeds. Clean towels and rooms cleaned every day. Pool areas were kept lovely and clean. Restaurant was clean, varied, quality food, something for everyone! No complaints from us and we love our food. The specialty restaurants were amazing, yes you have to pay for drinks but they're not extortionate and local wines were ok. Christine was great as the restaurant host and all waiting staff very friendly and courteous. Free sunbeds on the beach which is great. Staff work so hard and always smiling. I don't think I would be as very few people took their glasses ( plastic) back . Little tip bring mosquito repellent as they bite after 7 pm, also great little cove for swimming remember to bring your snorkel...we forgot. We went to lindos to see the acropolis and walked to the car park by the beach there's always two taxis there they only charge 10 euro took us straight to the centre, go early we went 8 am was very quiet but on way down the hoards had arrived. So go early to avoid. The management team are visible every day. It's not National 5* , wine and beer as we expect for an all inclusive plastic glasses the norm for all inclusive by the pools. You have glasses in restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Pay no mind to the bad reviews from snobby brits (yawn). Our stay at the Lindos Royal Resort was absolutely fantastic. The staff were great, check-in was smooth, and it was a nice touch to have the concierge take our bags and give us a lift to our room on a golf buggy! We paid for a room with a sea view, and we definitely got what we paid for - it was stunning! The room itself was very well-decorated, the bed was comfy, and the TV was great. The air conditioning certainly helped as it was 39 degrees all week! There were just a few small areas that could use some attention, but nothing major. The food was different most days. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. We decided to have lunch from the pool bar because it was light, quick, and freshly made. The gyros was a big hit with us! There were lots of drink options, and they were not shy with the alcohol. The hotel was very clean, and there was always someone cleaning or working. The maids were friendly and nice. The pools were clean and nice to swim in. The only issue was that occasionally the sun beds would come loose and go flat, but we always found it funny! The WiFi was outstanding; it had coverage throughout the entire resort, including the private beach. The resort had not one, but two convenient mini-marts where you could find anything you needed. The reception staff was consistently accommodating when it came to ordering taxis; the cost for a journey to Lindos center was around 10-15 euros. "PS: You get to choose from 3 themes at their à la carte restaurant, and you get one free dinner with your stay. You only have to pay for drinks! We chose the Mediterranean theme, and it was amazing. There was so much food, and the ingredients were incredibly rich and delicious!" Have alook at the pics.
