What a superb experience we had here.
Obviously some of the reviews were scary in terms of the gulf between amazing and a disaster but my own personal experience was the hotel is superb but it needs a bit of work in the rooms.
The room itself had an incredible balcony view of the sea, a super comfy bed, a dodgy wardrobe and someone had clearly tried to kick the door in. Admittedly I’m not painting a good picture but the view of the sea/beach beats everything.
The hotel itself is in a great location with clean and tidy eating areas, spotless reception and a lot of space.
The food was also incredible, I know it’s an all inclusive and some people may have had better experiences but we found it great. My Mrs is a vegetarian and there were plenty of options for her. Breakfasts were amazing.
Lastly and more importantly the staff… they work so hard, they’d do anything for you, and even though many of them are working long shifts they are still happy and smiley. All of them greet you, they’re efficient and you can have a laugh with the bar staff. I do think it depends on your stay and luck of the draw with the rooms but personally I believe this is a very special place.
Ironically for roughly the same price of a room here for a day you could spend the same on staying in a premier inn in Somerset…

My experience at Lindos Royal was absolutely delightful, with the spa being the standout feature of my stay. The moment I entered, I was greeted by a calming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The variety of treatments offered is impressive, catering to all needs, whether you're looking for deep relaxation or therapeutic care. The therapists were highly skilled, ensuring that every session was both soothing and invigorating.
Aside from the spa, the resort itself is stunning, with elegant architecture and beautifully landscaped grounds. It’s the perfect place to unwind, with luxurious amenities that make for a truly rejuvenating vacation. If you’re looking for a retreat that combines relaxation with a touch of luxury, Lindos Royal is the place to be.

Disappointing Experience - Definitely Not 5 Stars
I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a 5-star experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short of that. While the hotel staff was trying their best, the overall maintenance was poor. The rooms and common areas weren’t well-kept, and we even had to deal with insects and ants throughout our stay. For a hotel of this supposed caliber, the lack of attention to detail was surprising.
The towel service was another frustrating aspect. We had to pay a 50 euro deposit, and towels could only be exchanged every two days, but only if we went to the spa to request them ourselves. Additionally, there was no bar or drink service by the sea, which made relaxing by the water inconvenient.
To top it off, the atmosphere was more like an apartment hotel than a luxury resort. Guests were walking around with their own floaties, and the place felt overcrowded, further diminishing the supposed 5-star experience.
Overall, it was a disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a true luxury experience.

Me and my partner stayed here for 7 nights from the 28th August. Prior to our trip we saw some not so good reviews which left us a bit wary upon arrival, however these couldn’t be anymore wrong from what we experienced. We stayed in a deluxe room with a sea view and everything about the room and view was perfect. The hotel was lovely and the staff were amazing especially the reception staff who were incredibly polite and helpful. Our room was tidied every day and towels always replaced. The food was really good and had loads of options especially for people with allergies like myself. The location is perfect for travelling to nearby areas like Lindos however the hotel itself has plenty to keep you busy like the multiple pools, waterslides and private cove for snorkelling etc.
Overall really impressed and were devastated to leave after 7 nights, wished we could’ve stayed longer.

Bearing in mind this is a five star hotel we were stunned at how rude and uninterested the staff are, rooms are unimpressive with poor air con. Plus point was we had a view of the beach and sea as was in block 6000. Cleanliness was awful, food left out for long periods and not fresh, service at main restaurant was appalling and ended up having to be resourceful cause staff are so unhelpful. Just getting fresh towels was a mission and expected fresh sheets at least once in the 7 days we were here. We paid a lot of money to spend our holiday here and we won’t be coming back!
