My partner and I had a wonderful week at Lindos Grand - the hotel was lovely, had everything we needed and we felt it was good value for money. Lindos is a lovely place to visit and we really liked Vlicha beach as a location. There were only a few areas we felt could be improved but after having read the mixed reviews the hotel exceeded our expectations. I understand that the hotel has been fairly recently reopened and so these may just be teething issues. It is a lovely hotel and has great potential. Room The room was ideal for what we needed. The Aircon kept us a good temperature at night. The bed was VERY comfortable and big, and with a sea view room, we had a lovely view from our balcony. Because of the way the hotel is built, a lot of the sea view rooms overlook roofs of other sections of the hotel, which is why some overlook air conditioning units etc. We did ask if we could be moved initially as our room was quite near the road, and the receptionist said they couldn't but would ask their manager, but as road noise was not an issue we withdrew our request. The robes were super comfy, there are nice shampoo etc and the shower pressure is good, though it is salt water. There were a few odd things that were not quite right - the bathroom door doesn't close properly, the balcony door is extremely stiff and awkward to open, the walls were dusty and our main door lock didn't work (nor did the electronic do not disturb feature so we had to use the paper version). None of these issues were worth complaining about though. It would've been nice to have fresh bottles of water every day (you can only have one bottle free for your whole stay), and there is a coffee machine in the room (no kettle) but you are charged €2 per coffee pod. A free bottle of red wine was provided on our first night. Location Vlicha beach is really pleasant and the hotel has their own section of the beach where only guests can use the comfortable sunbeds. The water is shallow enough to stand and it's a pebbly beach rather than sandy. You can order drinks via a friendly hotel employee but we found it quicker and cheaper to buy drinks from the local bar/shop. The beach is a short 10 min walk from the hotel. Pool area The view from the pool is spectacular. The sunbeds facing this view get packed quickly so you do have to move fast (same in all hotels I think!). The pool itself is quite cold. To replace your beach towels you have to take them to the spa which is a bit inconvenient but I understand why they do this. There are lots of cats around the hotel which for me was not a problem but some people complained about them being near their sunbeds. The umbrellas are fixed and can't be tilted so it's best for those who enjoy sunbathing. Breakfast/restaurants The selection at breakfast is good, and there are some healthy options available and fresh cooked eggs. The breakfast room is lovely and you have the option to sit outside. It runs from 7-10am but we never felt rushed. Breakfast was main area I felt the hotel could improve on if they would like to. Some of the food (eg bread) did not seem fresh. The toasters were broken and the overall hygiene standards were not the best - often the plates and glasses were dirty and it looked like they hadn't been washed properly. The service was ok and staff were friendly, but some days it was chaotic - one particular staff member managed to drop and smash plates every morning (it looked like they were carrying way too much!). Some staff were more well-presented than others in terms of uniform. Overall it was fine but not quite the 5* standard you'd expect. We didn't use the restaurants as had only paid for breakfast and liked going out in the evenings. One night we returned early as wanted to have some dessert at the hotel - when we went to the restaurant to ask if we could have dessert, the staff member said they weren't sure if we could sit for dessert only and had to call the manager to check... of course the manager said yes and the dessert was nice.

This is an Adult only hotel for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The 50m infinity pool is spectacular with beautiful seaviews. This was the highlight of staying in this hotel for us. There were plenty of sunbeds available around and near the pool, and 'reserving' sunbeds by putting towels on them was not allowed. There are a range of different types of rooms to choose from, some with small private pools. A few of the 'sea view' rooms have a limited view of the sea, and some guests were disappointed. Our room had a garden view, which was OK for us. The standard rooms are basic with not much hanging space for clothes, but again, adequate. The Kingsize bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept very well. We were given a complementary bottle of wine and snacks upon arrival, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was very good with a large range of continental food and also hot food to order. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we definitely would stay here again. Special thanks to the 2 lovely ladies who cleaned our room spotlessly!!

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. My wife and I stayed here for a week in October. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the food at the breakfast and evening meal buffets was incredible. Wonderfully variety and choice and quality. impossible to go hungry! We had to check out at 5.30 to get our flight home, (long before breakfast starts) and the wonderful kitchen staff got us coffee and tea and told us to help ourselves to bread and cold meat which they were putting out.

This very secluded hotel is definitely not worth 5 stars. We got a hotel room with a view of air conditioners, a busy road and a warehouse door, while we had booked sea views! The warehouse door was used as a staff entrance, so there was a lot of crowds of scooters and cars. The hotel room was dirty and the walls were full of paint stains, see photos. We filled the complaint with the reception. Their attitude was disrespectful: we were unlucky and couldn't get another room until 5 days from now. The atmosphere in the hotel is cold and distant and in the evening there is no atmosphere. We were scammed because we paid extra money for a sea view room but we didn't get this. Don't book this hotel people, you'll regret it! Unfortunately the hotel "boss" does not take any responsability for anything and try to take down negative review. Please check the photo's, they say enough.

Gorgeous hotel. Lovely private pool which overlooked the sea. I had 2 amazing spa treatments. Varied breakfasts with huge selection. Staff were very friendly and place was spotless
