I visited Lily Beach Resort & Spa in 2015, and it was an amazing experience. The staff were really approachable and accommodating. This resort in the Maldives is a perfect destination for a luxurious getaway, offering a full-package stay with complete meals. I truly enjoyed trying the different varieties of cocktails and wines. Our honeymoon stay at Lily Beach Resort & Spa was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the level of service stood out - the staff were genuinely warm, incredibly attentive, and always seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked. Every interaction felt personal and thoughtful, which made the whole experience feel truly special. The food was another absolute highlight. The standard across all meals was outstanding, with a fantastic variety and consistently high quality. Each dish was fresh and full of flavour, easily rivalling top restaurants rather than a typical resort buffet. It was clear that a huge amount of care goes into both the ingredients and the execution. Combined with the stunning surroundings, Lily Beach delivers a perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and hospitality. We left feeling completely relaxed, well looked after, and already talking about when we can return. Highly recommended. 🌴✨

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent diving, outstanding food & champagne – we will be back We had a wonderful stay at Lilly Beach Resort and will definitely return. The diving with ProDivers was exceptional – highly professional, extremely well organized and with a strong focus on safety. We have rarely experienced such a calm, structured and safe diving operation, combined with spectacular dive sites. What truly stood out was the food and drinks. The quality across the resort was outstanding: excellent sushi, fantastic Thai dishes, great variety and consistently high standards. A special highlight was the Taittinger champagne, perfectly chilled and always available – a real luxury touch that elevated the entire experience. Service throughout the resort was warm, attentive and genuinely friendly, making us feel welcome from start to finish. Lilly Beach perfectly combines world-class diving, excellent cuisine and relaxed luxury. Highly recommended.

Overall, we had a great stay at Lily Beach Resort & Spa, especially as a family, but there are a few points where I wouldn’t personally rate it as full luxury. weak point - - - Restaurants & Food – 2/5 This was the weakest point for us. The food quality itself was fine, but the variety was very limited. Charging extra for lobster in an all-inclusive luxury resort is disappointing at this level. Resorts like Mövenpick in the Maldives handle this much better.For dining, Lily Beach is far behind them. I give 2/5 only because of quality; otherwise it would be 1/5. Management & Organization – 3/5 This is where things could improve. I booked a tennis court, but the staff member responsible didn’t show up, and no one could locate him. After about 30 minutes, someone finally came to open the court. It was unclear whether this was a communication issue from reception or simply a lack of follow-up. The bathtub / whirlpool in our villa was not clean. I requested cleaning four times, and it was only properly handled after 3 days, and only after I personally found someone to take care of it. This was disappointing for a resort of this level. Because of this, I would rate this part closer to 2/5. Now what are the best here: +++ Alcohol – 4/5 Good selection and quality overall. Kids Club & Babysitting – 5/5 The kids club was excellent and helped us a lot during the stay. The babysitting service was also very useful, and the pricing felt fair and not exaggerated. For families, this is a big plus. Beach, Sea & Marine Life – 5+/5 Absolutely outstanding. The beach, the sea, and the marine life were beyond expectations. I have been to the Maldives before, but this was a different level of experience. Truly exceptional. Staff & People – 5/5 The staff were very friendly, kind, and welcoming throughout our stay. No complaints here at all. Final Verdict Food is very important to me on this kind of holiday, and when dining is disappointing, it significantly affects the overall experience. Personally, I would rate the resort 7/10, but I give it 8/10 because of the amazing beach, sea life, kids facilities, and friendly staff. One last note: we were supposed to receive VIP treatment, but the bus transfer from the airport was honestly awful — not a great way to start an otherwise beautiful stay.

Just got back from the most amazing holiday at the Lily Beach. Our first time in the Maldives and we definitely picked the best ! The island is beautiful, the food and drink options are exceptional and the best bit...I snorkelled for the first time and LOVED it ! The reef around the island is perfect, we saw sharks, turtles, eels and rays regularly as well as every fish and marine animal you would expect. The 9pm feeding frenzy from the jetty is such an experience! Took several trips from the island and were lucky to see a whale shark and manta rays. Used the watersports centre too, for stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing and pedalos. Have to mention the great team at the dive centre as well who literally transformed my snorkelling experience by sorting out a prescription mask for me. Enjoyed the most gorgeous sunsets from the island with cocktails and champagne. The beach villa we had was perfect, so well looked after with fresh towels twice a day, restocked bar and treats, everything in the villa you need like luxury products, robe, flip-flops. All the team at Lily Beach are fantastic, and I have to mention Aneesh at the beach bar in particular. He is an amazing asset to the bar team and made sure we had the best experience at the beach every day. Thank you Aneesh and everyone else!
