We really enjoyed our time at Le Méridien Maldives! All the staff at Turquoise Restaurant, Velaa Bar + Grill, Tabemasu, Riviera, and Waves Café were so friendly and attentive — they made every meal special. The food was excellent throughout our stay, especially the gambas dish, sourdough, pear with truffle toast, and the coffee drink with jelly. Chef Asaf was always making his rounds to ensure the best guest experience, which we truly appreciated. We stayed in the overwater sunrise villa, and it was an amazing experience — we spotted stingrays, nurse sharks, trumpet fish, turtles, and many more marine friends right from our villa! The dive centre team and fishing crew, Mippu, were full of fun and energetic vibes, making our activities even more memorable. A truly wonderful experience overall! 🌴✨

Leadership & Reception Team A special thanks to General Manager Thomas, whose leadership clearly shines through every team member. His presence and guidance are evident in the seamless operation of the resort and the culture of genuine care. At reception, Jennifer and her manager Jaya went above and beyond throughout our two-week stay. They patiently arranged for us to experience different villas, ensuring we could fully enjoy all the resort had to offer. Their thoughtfulness and professionalism made us feel truly cared for. Dining Experience & Service Excellence The resort’s five restaurants and bars are outstanding, both in quality and variety. Every meal felt like a celebration, thanks to the incredible team. We must highlight Ali Baba, Abby, Neng, and Togjan, who consistently provided warm, attentive service, always with a smile. They remembered our preferences and made every dining experience personal and memorable. A huge thank you to Chef Pradeep, who not only delighted us with his culinary skills but welcomed us like family, creating dishes that reflected our tastes and making every meal special. Most notably, Asaf, the Executive Assistant Manager for Food & Beverage, sets a new global benchmark for guest engagement. He personally greets guests at every restaurant, at every meal, always ensuring that everyone is enjoying their dining experience. On one occasion, I casually mentioned a small idea for a dish – and to my surprise, he made it happen a few days later. This kind of attentiveness and genuine care is simply extraordinary. The Resort & Surroundings The villas are very new, beautifully designed, and of the highest quality – modern, elegant, and perfectly comfortable. From our overwater villa we could jump straight into the ocean for swimming and snorkeling, where we spotted countless marine animals in the clear waters. For variety, the pools across the resort offer equally relaxing and scenic options. The overall atmosphere is tranquil, romantic, and deeply peaceful – the perfect setting for a honeymoon, anniversary, or simply a retreat to disconnect and recharge. Final Thoughts What makes Le Méridien Maldives stand out isn’t just the luxury facilities, breathtaking setting, or world-class food – it’s the people. Every team member treats guests as though they are part of the family, creating an environment of warmth and belonging that is truly rare. We cannot thank the entire team enough for making our stay unforgettable. We left not just with memories of a beautiful island holiday, but with the feeling that we are always welcome home at Le Méridien Maldives.

I would like to express my appreciation for the beautiful, modern rooms at the Maldives hotel, and the high standard of the food. The diving department provided exceptional and attentive service, especially from Vanessa, who explained every service in detail, making us feel at ease. Every staff member responsible for each activity was very friendly and dedicated. During our dolphin-watching trip, Cesar went above and beyond to help us spot dolphins, and when we saw many, everyone was incredibly excited. Additionally, diving instructors Wei and Iris took great care of our itinerary, guiding us through the underwater world. During our stay at the hotel, we truly experienced the kindness and wholehearted care of all the staff, which made us feel a strong sense of homecoming.

We had an amazing stay at Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa. Our overwater bungalow was stunning, and everything about the setting felt magical.
