I can hands down say this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at, everything is perfect for myself & my family. The hotel aesthetic is stunning such a tropical feel with all the greenery, it’s spotless, the cleaners, maids & grounds team all work super hard. The restaurants serve such a huge variety of really good quality food, the choice really is endless, all the restaurant staff are so attentive and polite, the chefs are happy to help, if you ask for something specific it’s done. The animation team are fabulous, the vibes are always buzzing, every age is catered for, a good variety of activities, whether your looking for relaxing, sporty or just fun it’s all available, they do a certificate giving in the evening to celebrate the winners of competitions. The entertainment in the evening has been spot on really good tributes in the show bar and they are really interactive with the crowd the whole room gets involved. The hello bar has some really beautiful musicians and singers with a pure chill vibe if you don’t fancy the tributes and full on fun. Rooms are spacious and the mattresses are top tier. If you require an iron & board they will be delivered to your room so no need to pack an iron. You can have floats, balls etc in the pool too which is great as there’s a lot of hotels which don’t allow this. I cannot praise the hotel and all its staff enough, 5***** Thank you for making our holiday perfect

Absolutely amazing stay! We went for the all-inclusive package and it was honestly one of the best we’ve ever experienced. Huge variety of food from breakfast to dinner – everything fresh, tasty, and well presented. Bars open all day with proper cocktails and quality coffee, not just some watered-down stuff. Our room was spacious, modern, and cleaned perfectly every day. From the balcony, we had a breathtaking view of the ocean – both sunrise and sunset were next-level vibes. The hotel is located right by the sea, so you’re literally a few steps away from the black volcanic sand beach. Big shoutout to the adults-only zone – peaceful, relaxing, with its own pool, sunbeds, umbrellas, and zero screaming kids. Perfect for couples or anyone just wanting to chill in peace. One of the things we really loved was the packed activity schedule – there’s always something going on throughout the day. From poolside games and fitness sessions to evening shows at the bar, including live music and dance performances – there’s never a dull moment. And let’s not forget the staff – everyone we met was super friendly and helpful, always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed. Overall? Spotlessly clean place, top-notch service, fun vibes, and a beautiful location. Easily a 10 out of 10. Would go back in a heartbeat!

My stay was absolutely fantastic, food was delicious, cleaning was spotless and staff were brilliant. Damian always greeted us with a smile at the restaurant and promptly found us seating for 7, he couldn't have been more helpful and his positive energy was contagious. As a 20 year old, I found the pool games perfect for my age, encouraging kids and adults to all play. Carlos ran them twice a day and he suited the role perfectly. He was fun, smiley and enthusiastic, making every sport enjoyable. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough!

Beautiful hotel, really lovely open reception & communal areas with real living plants. Staff couldn’t be more accommodating, hotel is exceptionally clean (we saw people hosing down the sun beds every evening & the housekeepers are excellent). Food was incredible with a huge selection to choose from, you’ll never get bored! Lots of pastries and desserts as well as fruit, wide selection of bread and different meals every evening. Also as part of the standard package you get two 3 course meals at the a la care restaurants; one was more Mexican street food and the other ‘Arena’ was delicious! You need to book on the app or at reception quite quickly after arriving in order to book a table. The hotel was full when we stayed but still the pool had enough sun loungers so we didn’t have to worry about getting one and there’s a ‘no reserving sun loungers’ policy with the pools closed off until they open. There are two pools (not including the infinity pool for platinum guests) - the upper is where all of the activities happen so a bit louder with music and the lower was where we based ourselves, which was a bit quieter. Platinum looked nice but we didn’t feel we were getting ‘less than’ not being platinum, so if we were to return we probably wouldn’t go platinum. The beach was nearby, a 10 minute walk, it would be less than 5 mins if the other entrance to the hotel was open, which it wasn’t during our stay. The beach is only small but is natural black sand. There are sun loungers you can rent but we didn’t, just took towels, we found it nice to spend some of the day by the pool and some by the beach. The red flag was up most days but there was a lifeguard and you could dip your feet in and stay close to shore if you wanted to. Overall a really lovely holiday & gorgeous hotel, would definitely recommend!

I have travelled to the Landmar Playa la Arena with my family and my first trip with my child you is under 2 years old. The dining staff have been fantastic and accommodating with my needs to cater for my son. Patricia and David in particular has been phenomenal and even anticipates our seating for dinner and brings my son milk and apple juice which my son gets excited for. We have been so lucky to have had Patricia and David serve our family and they have made this experience as a single parent with a young child easier especially at meal times! The customer service at the Landmar is exemplary and would highly recommend a stay here.
