This is my first visit (3N) to The Lancaster Bangkok, and it's definitely now one of my favourite hotels in Bangkok. I prefer a laid-back approach in terms of service, and this place fits the bill perfectly. Nobody is pushy or under your feet, and we were able to relax, unless we needed something. Every staff member acknowledged us during our stay. I'm a fan of the internal architecture, I love the style of this hotel. The rooms are a really good size, and the bathrooms are luxurious. The beds were extremely comfortable as well as the pillows, there was iron/ironing board, hair dryer, and laundry bag in the room. We didn't think it was missing anything for a short stay. Everything is of high quality, and despite being a bit older now, this place holds up really well against the more modern establishments. The swimming pool is very clean and the service upstairs was always positive. The customer service experience throughout my stay was faultless. The reception staff were very helpful and polite, the concierge was always smiling and professional, the bar staff were excellent. We never used to gym, but the staff greeted us whenever we passed by. We didn't eat here, so can't comment on the food. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel in future. We stayed for the majority of our time in the hotel, and we are incredibly relaxed for it.

Lancaster Bangkok is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. I did have some issues, but overall had a great time! +Pros -Great location, close to everything -Great in house food options -Polite and respectful staff that made me feel at home -AC works great and keeps the room ice cold if left on -House keeping is offered daily and they are very hard workers with a great attitude on life +Cons(note that the hotel staff did do their best to right any wrongs, so these aren’t major problems, just notable remarks that I would appreciate knowing) -I had a problem with room service, but this was a simple mistake and they did make this right once I elevated the situation to a management level. -The room had a moldy smell and the 2 couches/seats felt damp when sat on. Better circulation would likely fix this, but the windows do not open so another method like a dehumidifier is needed)

Stayed for 4 nights in a family room as a family of 4 with 2 kids…. Pro’s * great staff * exceptional breakfast * comfortable beds * beautiful lobby * walking distance to MRT & BTS Con’s * family room was a standard room that was partitioned in to 2 rooms with 1 x double and 2 x singles, so very small for 4 people * not enough space to hang 4 towels in the bathroom, so it got messy in there * local channels only, so no movie or kids channels * nothing much to see in this part of Bangkok I would rate this a 4 star hotel. Looking a bit tired in some spots and lots of cracked internal balcony glass panels. Room also has stains on the couch and walls

Good overall, though i don’t agree with some of their hotel policy. Service was good when they put in the effort e.g., gave me welcome drink & fruits from the GM, escorted me to my room with luggage sent up separately. There are times when it wasn’t so good too. Kinda hit & miss, which resulted in 4 star rating instead of 5 star. Location not the best either.

I stayed at the Lancaster Bangkok with my family booking two rooms expecting a high standard of service and comfort, but unfortunately, the experience fell short on multiple fronts. The service throughout my stay was underwhelming. Staff seemed disinterested and not particularly helpful — requests took far too long to be addressed, and there was little warmth or attentiveness you’d expect from a hotel in this price range. The room itself was also a letdown. It looked tired and didn’t match the polished photos on the website. There were maintenance issues, and overall it just didn’t feel as clean or well-kept as it should. For a hotel that positions itself as a luxury option, the quality was nowhere near what you'd expect. There are definitely better places to stay in Bangkok for the same or even lower price. I wouldn’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless some serious improvements are made in both service and upkeep.
