We knew this place was remote when we booked it so location an issue for us. We were welcomed with hot .towels and a cocktail and many warm smiles. Our roo.s were ready but we out a late request in which they sorted within half an hour. Rooms are spacious and have everything we need.

It was our first time in Mauritius, but definitely not the last. There is few factors which made our holiday special and unforgettable. Laguna Beach Hotel is a lovely, cozy hotel with fantastic views and amazing pool area. The scenery is breathtaking! Also our rep, Rama, was always available and extremely helpful. Same as all the staff in Laguna Beach - they sorted everything what we asked for. Generally, Mauritian people are by far most friendly people we came across. Thank you Rama, thank you Laguna Beach Hotel and thank Mauritius for our great Anniversary trip!

We had amazing time staying in the Laguna beach hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, great food and very good atmosphere in around the hotel. We came here to do the kitesurfing and the hotel is well located to access many spots. You cannot kite directly from the hotel beach, but there is a daily boat to Ile aux Cerf, and a few other spots within a short drive.

We stayed at laguna beach for 10 nights at the end of January and beginning of February. The hotel itself is located in a very quiet area where on the east side of the island and further away from any touristy spots. Therefore, to get somewhere you have to use either the taxi or rent a car. We used the first option and spent each day approx. 70-80 euros per day, which was fairly ok. The hotel itself looked great at the first glance, the reception was very nice decorated and the staff was super welcoming and friendly - especially the waiters at the restaurant / bar!! We had an all inclusive package (breakfast, lunch, pancake / tea time, dinner and beverages / selected cocktails) - the restaurant offered every single day a variety of local specialities (limited vegan / gluten free options though). We were there during the Chinese new year, and for this the restaurant decorated everything and also offered a Chinese inspired buffet - which we liked! Overall, the food was somewhat average. The room itself were a little outdated or are in need of some renovation (especially the bathrooms). Also we felt like the maids were not really cleaning the bathrooms every single day? There were some stains at the lamps / mirrors from the guests before us, also the shower heads were super calcified, which is something you could change easily by cleaning it more properly. As mentioned, the hotel was located a little further away from nice beaches (the one at the hotel we couldn’t really access, because the hotel was struggling with algae during that time, which is of course not their fault). The hotel, however, offers a boat „shuttle“ to Ille aux cerfes. Nevertheless, you have to sign up the day before and the boat leaves only once a day at 12.30pm and picks you up at 3.30pm, our driver was late and also the boat drive itself took up some time, therefore we unfortunately only had 1 1/2 hours on the island … which is a pity as you cannot really enjoy the beach that much. Nevertheless, overall we thought that the hotel was okay for what we have paid. However for our next trip, we would look for a hotel that has a better access to the beach.

We stayed in may,our room was at the back,but management gave us a sea view BRILLIANT,the staff are great well most of them kasoom,Asher,avi exceptional..,food is good there's always a great choice & if you ask the chef will Russell up something you like,our cleaner veena amazing room smelt lush,the cons it's in a quite place so be prepared to take trips North & South,do this if the weather is going to rain,the animation team had a break down but my wife left a few ways to make it good ,we were fortunate to meet some fun people which made our stay really good ..enjoy folks & Mauritius thank you ..
