The food gave us stomach issues the second day. They have food coffee. Attentive staff. Some of the sellers of activities were a bit pushy, but most of them respected NO as an answer. Rooms nice and spacious, the cleaning guy came just three times within a week tho (we had "do not disturb sign on the door every day since 13 till 15:00, but does that mean they will come like never?). Sea very nice and good for children, some small rocks, but water shoes not necessary. Swimming pool great. Playground would deserve a roof, otherwise it is not possible to use it (equipment too hot). From the hotel a la carte restaurants we tried only the Italian one and it was the most horrible Italian food I've ever tried. A lot of animation programs. Animation people were very sweet and kind.

Had a great stay at Labranda Club Makadi! 🌴 The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the beach was beautiful. Lots of tasty food and fun activities with the animation team. Perfect place to relax – would love to come back!

I had an amazing experience there because I was lucky enough to meet the coolest people from the animation team — Dino and Wizzo. They were the funniest and warmest people I met during this vacation. They made me forget about the outdated room and the terrible service from the bartenders, who acted like you were hitting them over the head with a glass just for asking for a drink. They made my vacation feel like a dream — full of fun, joy, and good vibes. I truly believe every hotel in Egypt needs people like these two: kind, professional, and always ready to help with any information you need. More than that, they don’t act like employees — they come to you and talk to you like a friend. If I had been unlucky and didn’t meet them, I don’t know if I would have enjoyed the hotel as much. Because honestly, the food leaves a lot to be desired. The bread and almost all the food had no salt. The bar closes at midnight — after that, you can’t get a drink anymore. At Coco Loco, the DJ is awful and very arrogant. The cocktails are really good, but you have to pay for them — €6 per cocktail, which is a fair price. Water is expensive: €3. The reception is OK — they are respectful and helpful with anything you need. The pool is big, but it needs to be cleaned more often. The sea looks clear when you’re in the water, but the shore is very dirty — full of dead jellyfish, leaves, algae, and trash. If you make the mistake of sleeping in — even until 7 or 8 in the morning — you won’t find a single spot at the pool or on the beach.

A wonderful stay at LABRANDA Club Makadi!🎉 From the moment we arrived, I was truly impressed by the exceptional hospitality. We had a car issue on the way and arrived late, but Mr. Moneim, the reception manager, went above and beyond to accommodate us. He kindly offered us a late check-out to make up for the delay, and I’m truly grateful for his professionalism and kindness. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. You can really feel that they care about making guests happy. The food was amazing — such a great variety that pleased everyone in the family! Also, a big thanks to the animation team for filling the place with joy and positive energy every day. Without a doubt, if I ever visit Hurghada again, I will definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended!♥️

Rooms were cleaned everyday and found no fault with them. Staff were a little reserved until they realised you were English then they opened up and made our stay more enjoyable. The downside was the beach, could do with a clean, sea full of jellyfish and there was a smell like you get at a fishing port. But putting that aside the hotel was great, entertainment every day/night, food and drinks are good and the swimming pool is safe for kids, deepest point is only one metre so no diving by adults. Would l come here again, probably not, would l recommend it probably yes.
