This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I was truly impressed. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Their service was excellent, and they even escorted me to my room, which made me feel very comfortable and well cared for. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm, relaxing, and pleasant. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a great stay. Every staff member I met was polite and always ready to help with a smile. I genuinely appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail throughout my stay. Thank you for making my first visit such a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

This was my second stay at La Vela, and I was just as impressed as my first visit. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to enjoy the water sports activities because of the weather, but there are so many activities available at the resort that there was still plenty to do. I would love to come back again during the summer season. This trip was also a birthday getaway for me, and the hotel made it extra special by decorating the bed beautifully, providing a lovely chocolate cake, and upgrading my room as a birthday gift. Thank you so much for the thoughtful surprises! The pool-view room was beautiful, and I especially loved the bathtub on the balcony. The staff prepared a bubble bath with lots of foam, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The resort has a stunning swimming pool and many picturesque spots for photos. Everywhere you look, the scenery is beautiful and perfect for capturing memorable moments. I also joined the Aqua Aerobics class led by Torya, which was a lot of fun. In addition, I had a traditional Thai massage with May, who was very professional and attentive to my needs. I would like to thank all the staff members who made my stay so enjoyable. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service throughout my visit. I truly appreciate it and look forward to returning again. Last but not least, a special mention goes to the fire show team at KAKULO Beach Club. I have seen fire performances in many places, but this one was definitely the most memorable. The performers put so much effort and passion into the show, and their teamwork was outstanding. Every part of the performance was beautiful, exciting, and well-coordinated. It was truly a highlight of my stay, and I was very impressed.

Our stay at La Vela Khao Lak was nothing short of exceptional—an experience that perfectly combines modern luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and truly taken care of. The service throughout the resort is outstanding—attentive, warm, and highly professional. The housekeeping team, especially Ghing, deserves special recognition for maintaining our room (3347) to an impeccable standard every single day. The room itself was beautifully designed, modern, and incredibly comfortable, creating the perfect space to relax and unwind. Culinary-wise, the resort truly delivers. Every meal was a delight, with high-quality ingredients and excellent presentation. Kokulo Restaurant stands out in particular, offering a fantastic selection and an outstanding buffet experience. We also really enjoyed Spices Restaurant, especially the breakfast buffet, which offers a wide variety of options—from fresh dishes to soups. A special mention to the staff at the egg and soup station—you are doing a great job! A very special thank you to Manager Sarah, whose kindness and professionalism truly reflect the high standards of the resort. She leads a remarkable team, and it clearly shows. We would also like to extend our appreciation to the wonderful bar team—Bay, Bang Meed, Pyee, and the entire crew, including Joo, CJ, Lei, Cess, Joyce, and colleagues. Your energy, friendliness, and dedication made our stay even more enjoyable. Miner’s Bar offers excellent cocktails and shakes in a relaxed atmosphere. A special thank you to Bang Aod and Bee—you both are fantastic! One small suggestion would be to consider adding a coffee machine to enhance the morning experience, as some guests may have to wait a bit for coffee. For coffee lovers, Cotton Café & Library is a true highlight—serving excellent espresso and cappuccino, complemented by delicious cakes and ice cream in a stylish and cozy setting. The reception team was consistently helpful and welcoming, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience from check-in to departure. Architecturally, La Vela impresses with its modern, stylish design and tranquil atmosphere. The resort offers a perfect balance between sophistication and relaxation, making it an ideal destination for a luxurious getaway. At Kokulo Beach Club, one minor aspect for improvement would be the music and sound selection. Many guests are older (60–80), and the current music didn’t really match the relaxing and refined vibe of the resort.

We really loved out 5 day stay here over Easter. Stayed in a grand deluxe swimup room which was spotless and beautiful. The whole hotel is clean and modern, staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful at all times. Great choice of breakfast to suit all tastes. Beach was never crowded and we just felt so comfortable and happy here. Went to Kokulo beach club for the lobster buffet on Easter Sunday was was a lovely evening. Close walk to many nearby bars, shops and restaurants/night market. Can totally recommend this hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay x

The sea view was absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast was fresh and genuinely tasty, not your typical hotel buffet. The whole place is so peaceful and quiet, perfect for actually unwinding. Will definitely come back.
