This is a large and beautiful hotel with outstanding design, plenty of picturesque spots for photography, a large swimming pool, and a diverse breakfast selection. You can swim in the sea, but it might not be suitable to visit during the rainy season, especially if you have allergies. The rooms can be quite humid and musty. Even though the hotel staff assisted us with changing rooms and installing a dehumidifier, the room still had a musty smell. The bed sheets and blankets also had a musty odor. It seems the hotel has issues with water systems or humidity because there were deep mold stains on the ceilings and wooden doors. The water used for bathing had a strong chlorine smell. Due to the hotel's design, heavy rain can splash into the balcony corridors, making it slippery and dangerous. There are no connecting roofs between buildings, so even with an umbrella, you can still get wet. It's more convenient to wait for the rain to stop before going anywhere. Overall, I still want to stay again during the summer to see the difference. I am still satisfied with the overall experience of the hotel.

Great hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. The morning breakfast buffet is fantastic and the little cafe in the middle of the grounds makes an exceptionally good cup of coffee. Maybe the best in Khao Lak 😊 The rooms are great, although the beds a little on the soft side for my personal taste, they are big and spacious. The staff is very, very friendly and helpful and made it a really great experience to stay at La Vela. The beach club is great if you are looking for a fun and entertaining evening, and else the sister hotel La Flora is 100 meters away and offers a more relaxed atmosphere. But definitely a great experience all around 😊♥️🇹🇭

If you travel to Thailand with your family, lover I'd like to recommend this resort. I think everything is perfect, from the quiet atmosphere, clean rooms, well-managed swimming pool, and the resort location where you can walk to the beach. And the friendly staff makes our vacation perfect. And the meal was so fantastic. Most importantly, the price is very reasonable

Had such an amazing family holiday. Beautiful location, friendly staff, great service, wonderful atmosphere. We stayed in a pool side room. So nice to wall straight out into the pool. Huge bath and shower. Great food and happy hour promotions. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in Thailand . So many choices. Sopida at the activities desk was so helpful. She couldn’t do enough for us. She planned so many fun tours for us, all at a reasonable price! 5 stars.

We recently stayed at La vela khaolak with our 3-year-old and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, catering to different tastes and preferences. Our child particularly enjoyed the lovely pool and the very nice skate park, which added extra fun to our stay. Overall, it was a great experience for our family, and we highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with young children.
