I had an amazing stay at La Flora in Thailand. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and offered a breathtaking view of the beach. The resort itself is stunning — peaceful, lush surroundings with direct beach access and two lovely pools. The breakfast buffet was a real highlight, with plenty of fresh, delicious options every morning. I also appreciated the little touches, like complimentary snacks and the friendly housekeeping staff. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, La Flora is the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had the two bedroom suite. Gorgeous resort. Pools are lovely. Breakfast buffet was great. Location is perfect- on the beach and close to night market. Only down side is there are a lot of children, which can get loud. If you have your own kids this place is great. If you want child free time, you might want to consider somewhere else.

hotel is really very good, great location. Sire restaurant - food is fantastic. Hotel staff is amazing and friendly. Deluxe rooms with pool access are amazing. we are going back there again in 5 days our last stay was in October and we hope everything remains at such a good level.

We spent 4 nights at LA FLORA KHAO LAK in a 2-bedroom villa setup, expecting a peaceful, premium vacation experience. And for the most part, it was decent until checkout, when the true colors showed. As we were checking out, with our bags packed and a taxi waiting, the reception staff stopped us to charge for a laundry bag—a standard, in-room item that was already in the closet. After spending days enjoying their beach and pool (where naturally clothes get wet and sandy), we had no time to get laundry done. So yes, we used the laundry bag to store our clothes. Only to be told at the end that we had taken it and now must pay for it. Let that sink in: after 4 days of spending good money, dining, relaxing, and giving them business, their parting shot was to nickel-and-dime us over a flimsy laundry bag. Not one that we requested extra, not one we asked for the one already placed in the room by them. I was so disgusted by this petty behavior that I dumped all the clothes into my suitcase and handed them back their precious bag. And shamefully, they took it back without a word. No apology, no courtesy, just a smug “policy” face hiding behind supposed environmental values. We’ve traveled extensively around the world and many times across Thailand, where hospitality is usually warm, genuine, and customer-centric. But La Flora showed us a new low like never before. Hospitality is about creating comfort, not inconvenience. It’s about making guests feel welcome, especially when their actions are genuine and reasonable not be distasteful over trivial things. Customer service means being thoughtful, not transactional. Unfortunately, this place failed on all those fronts. A resort that behaves like this clearly values petty profits over guest experience. Never again. The way they treat you at the end says everything about who they really are.

We stayed at La Flora for a couple of nights, then we got an upgrade to La Vela, which is a 5 star hotel in a small distance to this one and belongs to the same resort group. Thanks for that again!! The rooms of the hotel were quite big and had everything you needed. The balcony provided two chairs and a table with a nice view. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Only disclaimer would be the reservation of the sunbeds around the pool and on the beach. They were almost all the time taken. So if you got there at around 2pm it might have happened that there wasn‘t any sunbed available. Besides that we really had an amazing stay and can only recommend this hotel. :)
