We checked in on 1/1 when the hotel was very busy, there were not enough sunbeds for a full hotel and towels were left on these from very early morning, however there were beanbags on the beach which we used and this felt much less crowded than in the sunbed area. Otherwise the hotel is fine, with helpful, lovely staff. Good breakfast with plenty of options. A hard working barista on the breakfast coffee station, didn’t catch the guys name but he worked efficiently to get drinks out quickly to order. Our room was lovely, a swim up room in the seaside wing but the veranda felt exposed to all and so we never used this. The location of the hotel is perfect, on the beach yet within 5 mins walk of a huge number of restaurants and bars to entertain you in the evening. Taxis located nearby if you want to venture further. The option to use the sister hotel’s facilities was great for us as the beach area at La Vela, seemed far less crowded and more spread out.

A dream stay at La Flora Khao Lak La Flora Khao Lak is truly a dream hotel. From the very first moment, we were absolutely impressed – especially by the outstanding service and the incredibly friendly staff. You immediately feel welcome and well taken care of. The hotel’s location directly on the beach is beautiful and makes the stay perfect. Our room was amazing, very comfortable and well maintained. A real highlight was the direct access to a private pool area, which made our stay even more special. We would especially like to praise the bartender Lee, who was extremely friendly and made the best drinks – every single one was delicious. Our biggest thanks go to Ann, a truly wonderful member of the staff. During our two-week stay, she checked on us every single day to make sure everything was fine, booked trips and events for us, and helped us with any issues we had. Ann is an amazing person and a huge asset to the hotel. We highly recommend La Flora Khao Lak and would love to come back again!

We found the staff very welcoming and helpful. The deluxe pool entrance room was beautiful with spa topped it off . Did find bed a little hard. Breakfast buffet was full of choose from local foods and western dishes. The seafood buffet was awesome so much to choose from. We had this twice on our stay. Beach bar and pool are perfect for relaxing afternoon of cocktails and swimming while waiting for sunset. This place is so big didn't find swimming up bar near our room till second last day could of made more use of that. Overall definitely recommend LA FLORA

On initial arrival it seemed very nice, but the morning after our arrival there was water running down the walls of our room and everything felt damp, I couldn't even charge my phone as an alert came up stating 'remove charger due to moister detected'. The reception staff was not happy in assisting us with the additional need for an umbrella when it was pouring down when we left out room the sun was shining so didn't think we needed one. The food at breakfast was a good selection and very nice, Location was good as hotel not too far from shops and bars and the local market.

I really want highlight the people who are working here. They are always here to help and have made our vacation unforgettable. Furniture I really want to mention the great stuff at the kids club. There have really entertained our kids always at the kids club and our girls loved the people there. Last but but least, I want to mention the breakfast here. It is really amazing and one of the best breakfast selection, which I have ever had in Thailand.
