Great Stay in a Perfect Location! This beachfront hotel is ideal for a relaxing holiday. You can enjoy both the pool and the beach just steps away. There’s a small shop and a lovely beachfront restaurant right next door—super convenient! The rooms are spacious, clean, and serviced daily. I also appreciated the luggage storage, which was a big help when I arrived early. It’s not the best choice for party lovers, as it’s a bit of a walk (about 20 minutes) from the town centre—but that distance makes it wonderfully peaceful. Perfect for unwinding! I’ve added a photo with the view from the hotel bar.

Food and drinks were excellent. Lovely spacious rooms, light and airy reception. Great sea views! Heated pool which is a bonus. Lovely staff, entertainment not too bad for all inclusive. Slow service at the pool bar and we only had our rooms serviced once during our 1 week stay. Spa is very expensive. Lower the prices and you’d have more customers. Having said the negatives I think with more staff this could be easily rectified. It wouldn’t stop me from returning.

Have just been on holiday here for a week, and we have had a very relaxing time. The staff work very hard, they are all friendly. The couple who run the entertainment are absolutely fantastic, you cant help but smile when they are around, they are good for your soul - shout out to Micky and Chris. The rooms are spacious and our balcony was overlooking the sea which was gorgeous. The house keeping is overall ok, more attention to detail needed, floors need to be swept thoroughly, especially under the bed, the bathroom needs a bit of a scrub. The food is ok, there's lots of choice and we always found something we liked. Sometimes the food could have been hotter. The staff at the pool bar are lovely, however sometimes queues can build. The pool area is lovely and clean, there's always a lifeguard on duty too. We had a 2 hour voucher for the spa given to us upon arrival which we made use of, spa overall is good but the steam room was broken which was a shame. The local town is a 15-20 minute walk away or around €5 in a taxi, quite a few bars and shops there. Bring towel pegs as it can get windy due to being on the coast, however the breeze is nice with how warm it can get. Entertainment room gets very warm so take a fan if possible. Overall a good break was had, thanks you Hotel Arenas Del Mar.

Had a 10 day break here with my wife on a bed and breakfast basis. Friendly welcome at this spacious hotel. We had a junior suite which was a good size and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was huge with an incredible choice of food, fresh and delicious. The pool was warm with plenty of sunbathing space. In house entertainment of an evening, mainly musicians and singers. Voucher to use at the health spa. 15 minute walk to the town, 15 minutes the other way to a secluded beach. Three restaurants over the road.

We stayed here as all inclusive for 7 nights. I have almost nothing to complain about. We stayed in a junior suite with sea view and it was fantastic. I like the way they separate the room so I could sit out on the balcony without disturbing the other half when she was in bed. Unlike others we couldn't complain about the cleaning or the cleaners! She was fantastic and came each day, replaced our towels, cups, glasses and brushed up. She always made the beds and left us a bow tie out of the one of the covers each day. She also very friendly. The food I enjoyed and found a lot of variety providing you didn't want chips and pizza every night. I'm a type 2 diabetic and always found something to eat and even tried a few new things. Like with most hotels if you're vegan you'll probably struggle but pretty much every other dietary requirement was catered for. We were all inclusive but still ate out a few times. You can get food any time of the day until around 9pm (the pool bar can even do toasties). I found the drinks were good and yes a limited selection but you aren't getting top shelf at all inclusive unless you pay a fortune. I drank mostly wine and vodka with coke. The staff in the bars and restaurants were always friendly and polite even to the people who were rude to them and that happened a few times. The entertainment is a bit of a personal choice it was mostly things like bingo, pool aerobics and karaoke. Not my scene but others really enjoyed themselves, you can either take part or sit on the comfy seats outside the lively bit and play cards (which is what we did). The reception staff were always helpful and polite about any type of request. My only critiques of the hotel is that I think they need to restrict smoking in the rooms and balconies as we had a neighbour who constantly smoked so we had to keep closing the balcony door otherwise our room stank of smoke. The pool area is pretty good with plenty of space as I don't think we ever struggled to get a spot and the drinks available at the pool bar are pretty good as well. The spa part was OK but is a bit tired and in need of some repairs e.g. The steam room doesn't work and the sauna had no water for steam. I had a massage which was actually really good and the lady who works there while a little prickly is actually very friendly. Over all I would recommend the hotel provided you see it for what it is. The location is good if you like quiet and don't mind a short walk to the bars and restaurants (although they have 3 across the road which were all nice). The beach is pretty good and doesn't get crowded either but most people seemed to just stay in the hotel. We did one excursion to go whale and dolphin spotting which was brilliant. Room 404 (I work in IT so called it the room that couldn't be found).
